That it would at least injure Loren.

The Galick Gun slammed directly into Loren.
The blinding light faded.
Loren stood there.
Completely unharmed.
"Is that all?"
Loren smiled faintly, full of disdain.
"Too weak, Vegeta."
"So weak that I didn't even feel like dodging."
"Y-you…"
Vegeta's lips trembled.
Not a single word came out.
His strongest burst.
His strongest Galick Gun.
Didn't even scratch Loren.
"Then."
"It's my turn."
Whoosh—!
Loren disappeared.

He didn't disappear.
He was simply too fast.
So fast that Vegeta's eyes couldn't follow him at all.
When Loren reappeared, one hand was already gently pressed against Vegeta's face.
That hand didn't seem to be using much strength.
Yet Vegeta couldn't resist even a little.
"Let me show you."

Loren pushed forward casually.
BOOM—!
Vegeta was launched backward at a speed invisible to the naked eye.
Rocks, trees—everything in his path was obliterated.
With a deafening crash, Vegeta slammed straight into the seabed on the far side of the island.
A tidal wave hundreds of meters high erupted into the sky.
The entire island shook violently.
In the distance, Android 18 instinctively took a step back, shock written all over her beautiful face.

This was Loren's true power?
On the sea's surface, a massive vortex formed.
The next second—
BOOM!
A golden figure burst out of the water, filled with towering rage and unwillingness.
It was Vegeta.
"LOREN!!!"
Vegeta roared hysterically.
Loren's voice echoed beside him.
"Too noisy."
Loren reached out and grabbed Vegeta by his upward-spiked golden hair.
Then—
He slammed him down.
RUMBLE—!
Vegeta crashed violently into the island's rocky ground.
Deep, bottomless cracks spread in every direction.
Loren dragged Vegeta by the hair, moving at high speed across the shattered terrain.
Screeeeech—!
Vegeta's back scraped brutally against the jagged rock.
Sparks flew.
Gravel exploded.
A gully several kilometers long was forcibly carved into the island.
"L-let go of me! You bastard!"
Vegeta roared in pain and humiliation.
He struggled desperately and swung his fist at Loren.
The punch didn't even land.
Loren caught it effortlessly.
Crack.
Vegeta's wrist shattered.
"AAAAH—!"
His scream echoed across the island.
Loren stopped.
He released Vegeta, letting him collapse at the end of the gully like a broken doll.
"Get up."
Loren looked down at him coldly.
Vegeta trembled, forcing himself up with his remaining hand.
His pride wouldn't allow him to fall here.
Just then—
A figure streaked through the sky at extreme speed.
"Father!"
It was Trunks.
He had finally arrived.
Then he saw it.
His powerful father—bloodied, broken, and barely standing.
And before him stood a golden figure wrapped in lightning.
"It's you!"
Trunks recognized Loren instantly.
"What did you do to my father?!"
Rage swallowed his reason whole.
"HAAAAAH—!"
Trunks powered up to his limit, golden ki surging.
He rushed toward Loren without hesitation.
Loren turned.
He punched lightly.
Bang.
A soft sound.
Trunks froze mid-charge.
His furious expression stiffened.
Then his eyes rolled back, and he collapsed.
One hit.
Instant defeat.
Loren glanced at the unconscious Trunks.
Then he looked back at Vegeta.
"Honestly."
"When the big one can't win, the small one falls even faster."
"You father and son…"
"…are only this strong."
"Pfft—"
Vegeta spat out a mouthful of blood.
Loren's aura slowly faded.
His hair returned to black.
The terrifying pressure vanished instantly.
Loren looked down at Vegeta.
"You stayed two days in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and forgot your place?"
"Remember this."
"From now on, when you see me—be humble."
"Otherwise, I'll beat you every time."
"Understood?"
He paused, eyes cold.
"And don't touch Android 18 ever again."
"I'm protecting her."
"Understand that, Vegeta."
