"Damn it… damn it! Damn it!!!"
Why?
Why did it turn out like this?
He—Vegeta—was clearly the Prince with the noblest bloodline!
He trained harder than anyone. More diligently than anyone.
So why, in the end, was he always surpassed?
Left far behind.
Especially Loren.
Now even the God of Destruction couldn't defeat him!
Vegeta couldn't understand.
The more he thought about it, the more the unwillingness and rage inside him burned like wildfire.
But when had everything changed?
On Earth?
When the Androids appeared?
Vegeta only remembered one thing clearly—
Every time he saw Loren again, the gap between them widened in a way that felt utterly hopeless.
Time and time again, he was left in the dust.
The feeling was unbearable.
"Vegeta."
A gentle voice came from behind him.
Bulma.
She walked over, holding a glass of juice.
"Aren't you cold, standing out here alone?"
She handed him the glass.
"Bulma…" Vegeta didn't take his eyes off the dark ocean.
"Do you think the gap between me, Loren, and Goku… is really that big?"
Bulma fell silent.
She didn't know how to answer.
Saying no would be a lie.
Seeing her silence, Vegeta let out a self-mocking laugh.
"Yeah… even you think so. It seems I really am useless."
"Vegeta, don't say that!" Bulma panicked slightly. She set the juice down and gently hugged him from behind.
"You're not useless! You're the Saiyan Prince I'm most proud of! You've worked harder than anyone—really!
It's just that… Mr. Loren… He might truly be an anomaly."
Feeling her warmth, the ice around Vegeta's heart softened a little.
But the fire in his eyes did not dim.
"Anomaly?" Vegeta turned abruptly, gripping Bulma's shoulders, staring at her intensely.
"I don't believe in anomalies! In this world, no power comes without a reason! He must have some special training method! He has to!"
"Vegeta…" Bulma was startled by the near-mad obsession in his eyes.
"God of Destruction Realm…" Vegeta muttered the words as if possessed.
"Beerus said that place is more suitable for training. I'm going."
A dangerous light flickered in his eyes.
"I have to go to the God of Destruction Realm! Only there can I find the key to becoming stronger! Only there can I catch up—or surpass them!"
"Bulma!" Vegeta stared at her, his voice carrying a trace of desperation he didn't even notice himself.
"Don't you have Whis's contact information? Help me. Help me contact him. I want to train in the God of Destruction Realm! No matter the cost!"
His gaze was unwavering.
Stubborn.
Bulma looked at him and felt her heart soften.
She knew the Saiyan Prince's pride would never allow him to accept this humiliation.
This blow was simply too heavy.
"…Alright." Bulma took a deep breath and nodded firmly.
"I'll help you. But Vegeta, you have to be prepared. It won't be easy to convince Lord Beerus and Whis."
"As long as there's even a sliver of hope, I'll take it!"
West City — Capsule Corporation.
Inside Vegeta's gravity training room.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Thunderous impacts echoed continuously, mixed with Vegeta's pained grunts.
The gravity was set to its absolute limit.
Every movement crushed his body mercilessly.
"Not enough! Still far from enough! This kind of training will never let me catch up!"
Vegeta stared at his trembling hands, despair flooding his eyes.
Pure physical training under gravity had already lost its meaning.
"Divine Realm…"
He whispered to himself.
"How do I step into that domain?"
He recalled Gohan's Super Saiyan God ritual.
Five righteous Saiyans.
A shortcut.
But the power was temporary.
Gohan had reverted after the battle.
And more importantly—
Vegeta would never lower himself to gain power that way.
What he wanted was his own strength.
True strength.
"God of Destruction Realm… Whis…"
Hope flickered again.
This was his only path forward.
Vegeta stood up, wiped the sweat from his face, and left the gravity chamber.
In the living room, Bulma was seated on the sofa.
Seeing him, she spoke immediately.
"I've already contacted the world's top chefs. In a few days, we'll reach out to Whis again. We'll invite him and Lord Beerus to taste Earth's finest cuisine.
Once they're satisfied, we'll bring up your request. At that point, the chances of refusal will be much lower."
Bulma's eyes gleamed with confidence.
"I refuse to believe the world's greatest gourmet offensive won't win over an Angel!"
Vegeta stared at her, stunned.
The plan sounded absurd…
Yet undeniably effective.
"…Good."
Vegeta nodded firmly.
"We'll do it your way."
A fierce fighting spirit reignited in his heart.
To become stronger—
Even if it meant bowing to an Angel.
Even if it meant humiliating himself.
He would do it.
(On Planet Vegeta, King Vegeta once danced comically to please Beerus—a dark memory forever burned into Vegeta's mind.)
"Then let's start preparing."
Bulma picked up her phone, mobilizing Capsule Corporation's full resources.
Meanwhile, Vegeta lay down on a fully automated massage device Bulma had built.
Before stepping into the God of Destruction Realm—
He would bring his body to its absolute peak.
He wanted Whis to see it clearly.
That Vegeta, Prince of Saiyans, still possessed limitless potential.
That he was worth investing in.
