The doors of Roxy's private chambers were violently blown off their hinges.
Smoke and the sharp, metallic tang of fresh blood immediately flooded the lavish, dimly lit bedchamber. Heavy combat boots crunched over the shattered stone and the ruined remnants of the Iron-Wood insignia.
A squad of ten elite, heavily armored assassins filed into the room, their blades poised to strike. Parting the sea of mercenaries was their leader, Commander Vane.
