Before Roxy could even sit up, Syris reached down into the heavy leather bags she had dropped on the floor. He pulled out two long, incredibly soft black silk ties.
He crawled onto the massive bed, moving with a terrifying, smooth grace. He didn't move like a normal human man. He moved like a giant predator sliding through the tall grass, completely silent and totally focused on his prey.
Roxy tried to wiggle backward, playing into the game. "Wait," she giggled nervously, her heart pounding.
But Syris was way too fast. His long, strong arms shot out and grabbed both of her wrists.
"You were playing with a fox, little bunny," Syris whispered, his voice smooth and thick like dark honey. "A fox likes to chase. But a snake does not chase. A snake catches its prey, and then we constrict. We wrap around you so tightly that you can't even think about running away."
