Chapter 33 - fate and it's threads

The fate and it's threads - chapter 33

The storm still hadn't settled since Titanic II went down.

The wreckage of the flying ship scattered across the shattered plains like the bones of some fallen god. Smoke twisted into the dark clouds above, and the sound of wind tearing through steel echoed endlessly.

Leo trudged through the ruins, a grin tugging at the corner of his mouth despite the chaos.

"C'mon, Jay - you really gonna keep hiding behind that busted backpack?"

Jay adjusted his lenses, muttering under his breath. "You mean the only thing keeping your dumb self alive? Yeah, I'll stay behind it."

They'd been searching for survivors for hours - or maybe the wreck itself. The air shimmered strangely around them, warping light. That's when Leo noticed it - a silhouette watching from the shadows, unmoving.

"Stay behind me," Leo said, voice low.

Something in the air shifted. The earth cracked.

From the darkness, monsters emerged - dozens of them, crawling like malformed beasts, drawn to something unseen. Leo's eyes gleamed crimson.

He raised his fists, and flames ignited, wrapping his arms in the shape of a lion's mane.

"Alright, let's dance!"

He charged headlong into the swarm, every swing burning through the darkness. His flame aura roared with him - each strike feeding the inferno until the air itself shimmered with heat.

Jay sighed, watching his taller, dumber partner pulverize demons like it was a sport. "Yeah... totally under control."

When the last creature fell, Leo spun around, laughing. "High five!"

Jay stared at his hand - Leo's was about two feet above his head. "Yeah. Totally reachable."

Before he could say more - something crashed through the smoke.

A figure - tall, lion-like, with molten veins glowing beneath its fur - slammed Leo backward so hard the ground cracked. The air pressure alone nearly threw Jay off his feet.

Leo coughed, flames flickering. His eyes narrowed.

"You think you can throw me that easy?!"

The rage aura burst forth - Ares' bloodline awakening. The lion of fire grew massive behind him, its eyes burning gold. He lunged, his fists striking like twin comets, but the figure caught him mid-swing and threw him aside like a child.

Jay clenched his jaw. "Great. Roid Rage is down again."

He tapped his backpack. The machine unfolded with a hum - transforming into the humanoid frame of Electrical, the floating combat robot powered by divine circuitry. Sparks erupted from its joints as it shot forward, intercepting the beast.

For a moment, the fight balanced. Electrical's attacks carved arcs of lightning, and the lion-beast's roars shook the clouds.

Then - the creature opened its maw and drained the electricity out of the air.

Electrical dropped instantly, its body dimming to ash-gray electrical put on a fight and took down all weaker monsters but that one was different it's aware.

"Dammit!" Jay shouted. "Hephaestus, I swear, why'd you make your best prototype allergic to its own energy loss?!"

Leo smirked he couldn't resist little jab

"seems like Hephaestus made electrical to be no less than a toy on a story shelf"though the beast pressed on Leo

Leo, barely standing, gritted his teeth.

Jay's mind sparked with an idea. "Leo! Channel your flame into Electrical - divine fire can override its circuits!"

Leo didn't hesitate. He punched his palm, flames flaring like wings. "Light him up, huh? Let's see if your genius pays off!"

He placed his hand on Electrical's chest - fire coursed into the metal, the machine lighting up with molten red veins. Its eyes reignited, blazing gold.

Electrical spoke, voice deeper now.

> "Target identified... Daskin god of lions- one of Lavin's Calamity Beasts. A masterless lion. Unbound. Unforgiven ."

The beast roared, lunging. Electrical dodged every swing, its new flame-coated arms cutting through the dark like lightning through a storm.

But before the clash could reach its peak, the ground boomed

As Leo did

A fist, massive and golden, crashed down between them.

The shockwave sent dust flying miles high.

And from that dust stepped Hercules - the demigod legend himself, arms folded, eyes calm but fierce.

He looked down at the unconscious Daskin, then at Leo and Jay - both half-dead, half-shocked.

"Didn't think I'd find Ares' cubs playing in the dirt," he said with a smirk. "Get up. You've got explaining to do." clearly interested

Though pov cut far

Far above Elysium, beyond the clouds, beyond even Olympus itself -

there was a room that existed between what was and what would be.

A loom of infinite threads spun in slow motion.

Each thread was a life. Each knot, a destiny.

And around the loom sat the Three Sisters of Fate.

Clotho, spinner of beginnings, leaned over the crystal pool. Her milky eyes reflected a scene of golden light - the fields of Elysium, where Ethan and Clarita walked side by side.

"There," Clotho whispered, a rare smile on her lips. "The newest hero of Olympus."

Lachesis groaned, resting her chin on her hand. "Newest? We didn't weave that one."

Atropos, the oldest, sighed - scissors glinting faintly in her palm. "Who gave that boy a thread at all?"

Clotho hesitated, flipping through the rolls of living parchment behind her. "It says... Perseus."

Both sisters turned toward her.

"Perseus?" Lachesis hissed. "The mortal-turned-legend thinks he can appoint heroes now? That's not his domain!"

"Apparently Olympus allowed it," Clotho murmured, still scanning the glowing symbols. "His thread was granted under divine petition. Strange... very strange."

Before they could argue further, the crystal pool trembled.

The image of Ethan and Clarita distorted - a shadow slithered across the surface, cold and uninvited.

Atropos leaned closer. "What's that?"

Clotho waved her hand. "Perhaps a mark from Tartarus-"

"No," Lachesis cut in. "That's no shadow. It's moving without a source."

The sisters rose in unison, their robes fluttering as the threads began to tremble.

"Bring the Eye," Atropos commanded.

Together, they placed their hands upon the Loom of Time.

For the first time in millennia, the All-Preserving Eye of Fate opened - a massive golden iris above the loom, burning with the combined sight of past, present, and future.

The world inside the crystal unfolded like a storm.

And in that storm stood a figure - calm, silent, utterly unbothered by divine sight.

His eyes glowed faintly. His hair rippled like the wind itself.

> "Abyss... Isad," Clotho whispered, the name forming from instinct rather than record.

"But... he has no thread."

The sisters flipped through their scrolls, frantic. No name. No birth. No prophecy. Not even a mention.

"He doesn't exist," Lachesis said in disbelief. "Not in fate. Not in destiny. Not in the past or the future."

Atropos's scissors dropped from her fingers, clattering against the floor. "Then what is he?"

Silence fell - even the Loom stopped spinning.

Finally, Clotho spoke, her voice trembling.

> "Could it be... that he stands above fate itself?"

The words echoed in the chamber like a curse.

The air thickened. Threads around them snapped - thousands, unraveling under the mere suggestion of such an idea.

Atropos clutched her chest, gasping. "Don't say that again. If the gods hear such a thing-"

"But look," Clotho insisted. "Wherever his shadow passes, threads vanish. Every path that touches him dissolves into nothing. Even Ethan's thread trembles when near him."

Lachesis's face hardened.

"Then we must act."

Atropos nodded. "Yes. The hero's fate must be tested - but this Abyss Isad threatens the weave itself."

Their eyes turned toward the crystal once more.

Abyss stood alone now, the wind stirring around him like living silence - the kind of silence that eats sound itself.

Lachesis whispered,

> "He has no destiny..."

Atropos finished the thought,

> "...so we'll make sure he never has one."

Though Clotho spoke

> "guys focus that guy isn't our main focus it's the hero guy we need to test if he's worthy"as the other two nods

And with that, the three sisters reached toward the threads of Olympus - and began to pull they trying to find a thread to pull so they make abyss encounter someone that would pull him away from Ethan so they could test him

Chapter didn't end here as back to Leo and Jay

Smoke curled off the battlefield - the stench of burnt metal and ash mixing with the faint hum of Electrical's fading core.

The massive lion, Daskin, now lay unconscious, steam rising from his golden mane.

Leo, bruised but still grinning, wiped blood from his lip and looked at the man who just one-shotted the beast.

His grin widened. "Bro... you definitely use steroids."

Hercules blinked. "Steroids? What is that - some kind of weapon?"

Jay, already facepalming, cut in. "Is that what you're concerned about? He just vaporized a creature that nearly drained your soul out, and you're asking if he's juicing?"

Leo shrugged, still catching his breath. "I mean, look at him, Jay. Guy's built like a mountain. If he's not on something, Hephaestus owes me an apology for making Electrical such a fragile tin can."

Electrical's eye flickered dimly from the ground. "Statement: my structure is not fragile. My creator simply had budget limitations."

Leo smirked. "Yeah, sure, that's what all cheap builds say before overheating."

That made Hercules laugh - a deep, thunderous laugh that carried the weight of Olympus itself. "You're bold, mortal. I like that." He slammed his fist against his chest. "I am Hercules - the Lion of Olympus!"

Jay muttered, "Explains the muscles. And the ego."

Hercules ignored him and turned to Leo, his tone shifting to something grand, almost ceremonial.

"You fought well, son of Ares. The flame in your heart burns like a wild beast. I will make you an offer - complete twelve trials of mine, and you shall inherit the power of the lion you felled today."

Leo's eyes widened, and that familiar cocky grin returned full force. "Twelve trials? You serious? Hell yeah! You're on, steroid man."

Hercules looked confused again. "I told you, I don't know what a steroid is."

Jay sighed, dragging his hand down his face. "And that's how it starts - another divine side quest because my partner has the brain of a lava rock."

Leo turned to him, still smiling. "Relax, short-stack. I'll get that lion power, and you'll get a new battery upgrade for Electrical."

Electrical's head twitched. "Upgrade request logged."

Jay groaned. "I hate my life."

As the laughter faded, Hercules crossed his arms, studying the two like a teacher examining unruly students. The faint glint in his eye suggested this was no simple challenge - something greater was at play.

The winds shifted. Far above, unseen to them, the threads of fate trembled - the sisters watching silently.

And below, Leo cracked his knuckles, grinning at the unconscious lion.

"Round one down," he said. "Let's see what the next eleven got."

(Some side stories I know but I am busy believe me)

If you wonder yup daskin is a god the god of lions the infernal fatality
