Chapter 58 - Chapter 58: The Hound Of Willowfen

*Pah-Pah-Pah*

The sounds of flesh colliding filled the air, her moans and his grunts audible from the two. "Andrew~~ I'm going to cum~~" Brittany moaned, her energy spent as with a final thrust from Andrew, he coated her insides with his cum while a fountain surged from Brittany's pussy. "Anngghhh~~~" Her eyes rolled to the back of her eyes, her chest heavily heaving while Andrew pulling his hard cock out of her pussy.

A trail of his cum trickled out of her pussy, his gaze panning over her body which was still recovering from the intense surge of euphoria. He didn't push her any further as he made his way to the bathroom and cleaned himself up. Making his way to the lobby, he saw Lara with her arms folded. "You do know that I could hear the two of you going at it! These walls aren't as thick as you think they are."

Her eyes resting on his figure as she rose to her feet. "I wanted to get something to eat and with the caretaker gone, a trip to the store would suffice." Andrew watched her, his gaze trying to get something out her. "Why didn't you leave already? After all there;s nothing to fear given your prowess. Or does the idea of claiming life not fancy you thus you have to use me as a means of keeping your hands clean."

Her lips parted however no words came, he brushed over it as he began to leave while she followed. Their figures stuck out in the fog, Andrew in his black overcoat while Lara was in a beige trench coat. "Do you actually believe that there is something killing the people of this town?" Her question landed in the silence, the two making their way down the street. "There is something killing these people however I don't know what it is yet."

His words settling in her mind before the two arrived at what seemed to be a store. The front door however was barricaded from the inside, the air around it similar to that of a grave. "Should we go and look for another one or?" Lara asked as Andrew approached, his gaze on the door.

*BAM*

The glass doors were sent flying to the sides, the boards split in two with his telekinesis which resulted with a look of amazement on Lara's face. 'It's a rather useful skill.' She concluded as the two stepped inside. "Who goes there?!" Almost immediately stepping in the store, they were confronted by scared voices. There were no lights in the store, illumination was from the light outside and some torches and candles laying around. "We're here for some supplies."

Andrew spoke up as Lara looked at the man, his face a look of horror etched while behind him a woman could be seen clutching a daughter. The daughter seemed to be about eight years old however in no good condition with how tightly she was wrapped up. "Supplies? How did you manage to escape the wandering hound outside?!" Andrew offered no responses, leaving it Lara as he made his way to the isles of supplies of food, most of which were empty.

"We just got here." Lara responded on behalf of Andrew. "You- You just got here? Oh no!" The man had a distraught look on his face, covering his face with his hands. "You'll kill us! You'll lure that beast to us! You've doomed us all!" The man broke into a frantic panic, gesturing his wife to head back inside. "You don't know what you've done by being here! There is a hound that dislikes any new people that come into the town! It's only a matter of time before you're dead!" Lara could only watch the family disappear before Andrew emerged with some supplies.

In his hand were some bandages, gauze and some packaged foods. "Let's leave." Before Lara could mention the words of the man, an ear deafening roar echoed through the air. It was high pitched and grating, akin to a distorted dog's whimper which grew louder approaching the store. "Andrew! There's a hound coming here. The owner says that-"

Andrew stepped outside, leaving his findings in Lara's hands. Stepping outside, Andrew was met with the usual, dense fog and a faint odour of death lingering about.

*Thud-Thud-Thud*

Sounds of a behemoth like creature could be heard, his scalpels now gleaming with his blood hovered around him. Lara was still in the store, facing his back as without warning shot one of the scalpels into the fog. "ARGH!!!" A cry reverberated through the air, one that forced Lara to cover her ears and dropping what she had in her ears. Andrew remained outside the store, his gaze slowly panning from side to side as if what he was doing was nothing more than a chore.

The thunderous thumps of the hound began to fade and Andrew retracted his blades back into his heart. "Let's go." He urged, his back still facing Lara who was now crouched on the floor. "What was that?" She asked, picking up the goods and making her way over to him. "Something we'll be fighting soon enough." He prepared to leave before Lara's words stopped her. "If you can kill it, wouldn't it be best that you do? After all the people in this town seem terrified of the beast!"

Her eyes went back to the store which now had no form of protection. "We can't just leave like this!" Andrew didn't bother engaging in a conversation as he began to make his way back to the hotel. Lara watched his figure vanish in the fog, her jaw tightening as she dashed back to the store. "You can come with us! After all staying here will only delay the inevitable!" Her words startled the store owner crouched in a corner huddling with his wife. "You-you're not dead?"

Lara looked at the pair, fear and tension on their faces as they cowered, waiting for what would happen to happen. 'I can't believe that Andrew isn't touched with people in such states! I wonder if he would be so aloof if he was in such a position.' She offered her hand to the store owner who was a bit reluctant. "We're safe where we are! You can take whatever you need and leave!" Lara let out a sigh. "This store isn't safe to stay at anymore. The front doors have been ripped away and it's only a matter of time before that hound makes it's way in."

The couple glanced at each other, sharing whispers before agreeing to follow Lara. "You're friend was the one who dealt with the hound, no?" The man asked, his tone still laced with fear as they approached the hotel. "Yes, he's quite powerful though a bit distant when it comes to people." Lara urged as they entered the hotel, this time Jimmy present at the counter. "Looks like we've got customers." The wrinkled man beamed an ear to ear smile, Lara leaving the family to check in while she made her way to Andrew's room.

"You don't have to ignore everyone we meet Andrew! You do have the option of saving other people aside from me." Lara said, barging in only to intrude as Brittany was changing and Andrew waiting. "There's a church not far from here. If you plan on playing the hero then go and save those people trapped in there. The beast was headed in that direction." Andrew stated with his focus on Brittany who was trying out new clothes.

"You're selfish! To think that you have such power and you use it on yourself!" Andrew didn't bat an eye, his focus still on Brittany. "Time is ticking Lara." Was all he said before approving of Brittany's dress. "It works well with your hair however I'm torn when it comes to your eyes. The red doesn't go well with it." Lara showed an incredulous expression before storming off. Along the way meeting with the family she had saved.

"Thanks a lot lady, had it not been for you,I don't even know what would have become of us back then." The man said before a raspy cough echoed. "He's not getting better and we're all out of pain killers." The wife said, her face grim as she cradled her child. "What's wrong?" Lara asked. "Oh, our son has a fever and we can't quite manage to cool it. We've tried all we can but nothing works. The clinic is on the other side of town and we're not sure even if we do make it there that there's anyone to help us."

Lara's eyes looked to the side. "A fever, I could Andrew to help with that. Just go to your room and I'll be there in a minute." The family after thanking her once more left. "No." His words echoed before she aired out her mind. "What do you mean no? It's a dying child Andrew!" Lara asked, her face enraged as Brittany was done with her dresses now perched on his lap sucking his blood. "Should you want to save that child you'll have to get stronger Lara. I won't change my mind." Brittany let out a small chuckle as she saw Lara before turning back to focusing on his blood.

Her lips parted, ready to call them selfish once more but nothing came. 'They don't care what I call them, that won't change a thing.' She let out a sigh before making her way back to the family. "I'm so sorry but I wasn't able to convince him into helping." Her tone down as she looked at the man on the doorway. "There's no need to stress yourself. You've done enough as it is. Helping us escape the store." His words didn't lift her spirits as she excused herself and left.

'It wasn't me but him who saved them, I just happened to be there. I need to grow stronger but I don't want to kill.' Memories began to surface, Andrew telling her that she would have to get used to blood and death to get stronger. 'But I won't kill like them! I'm better!' Her figure leaving the hotel and making her way to the supposed church. 'I don't have to worry about that creature but that doesn't mean Andrew will save other people unless…'

. . .

"You need to make sure the kids are safe!" A concerned voice echoed through the air, laced with urgency. "I'll make sure that they're safe!" Another voice shot back, this one behind the voice of the first one. Benches were thrashed all over, the altar a complete mess while two figures stood in the way of the supposed hound and behind them five kids. The hound, now basking in the faint light of dusk was revealed. It had no fur, it's skin human like but charcoal. It's height about ten meters (32.8084 feet) tall. It's golden teeth snarled at the two people, it's claws digging into the wooden boards, ready to lash out.

"ROARRR!!!!" It let out a roar that made the two wobble and nearly fall to their feet. "reverend sister!" The man behind shouted as the hound jumped, the one addressed as reverend sister had her hands aimed at the creature before a blinding light of fire shot out. The hound as if anticipating this dodged to the side and sunk it's teeth into the reverend sister's neck bringing her life to an end. The hound showed one of it's eye, still bleeding towards the man who felt the breathe of death close to him.

*Whoosh*

The hound before it could jump at him was shot with a small silken bullet towards it's other eye.

*ROARRR*

The hound let out an ear piercing cry as it backed off and leapt through the broken roof. Lara's figure was revealed at the church door, her hand aimed at the hound. The man was left stunned, the disappearance of the bloodthirsty hound let a realization dawn on the man. "reverend sister!!" The man in black robes cried as he rushed to clutch the headless corpse of the reverend sister that amassed a pool of blood.
