He treated even someone like her with utmost sincerity, and before she knew it, she had told him her circumstances.
"I see. In that case, if my place is acceptable, please stay. I can't in good conscience just leave a woman on her own."
There was no hidden agenda or ulterior motive in his words; he was genuinely worried and had offered out of kindness.
She was a Valkyrie, a battle-maiden who had served Lord Odin and had even been praised as exceptional. She could easily see through the lies of mere men.
But this boy told no lies and truly brought her—someone he'd only just met—into his home.
His apartment, where he lived alone away from his parents. True to his earnest nature, the room was spotlessly clean.
The only thing that caught her attention was the oddly large number of feminine belongings scattered around. Well, regardless, her life in the home of this boy—Mitarai Takashi—thus began.
Day Two
Rossweisse, it turned out, was skilled at household chores. Because she was a freeloader, she insisted on actively helping with the housework.

After all, she was currently being sheltered thanks to his goodwill. Grumbling about it would only be a nuisance. She quickly prepped dinner while he was gone, then used the free time to contact Rias Gremory, the overseer of this territory.
She had met Rias before while guarding Odin. She planned to receive some kind of commission from Rias as a way to repay Mitarai for his kindness.
Fortunately, a reply came swiftly: Rias asked if she would like to take up a teaching post at the academy Mitarai attended. Seeing a chance to repay him, Rossweisse immediately accepted.
Teaching human high school curriculum would be easy. She was, after all, called exceptional for a reason. When she told him about it over dinner that evening, he rejoiced as if it were his own good fortune, which made her a little embarrassed but also very happy.
Day Six
Standing at the podium and teaching a class, Rossweisse was utterly captivating.
She was in charge of mathematics, and despite the difficult content, she explained it clearly and comprehensibly. She looked sharper and more composed than she did at home, which was a refreshing change.
During lunch break, Mitarai ate the boxed lunch she had prepared for him in the Occult Research Club room. He regularly received such invitations from Asia and the others, always timed to when Hyoudou Issei was absent.
She was good at housework, cooking, and had a brilliant mind—and on top of that, possessed that stunning beauty.
