"The l… lower framework is gone?" she muttered, her voice barely above a whisper.
A cold sweat broke out across her back as the full weight of what she was seeing settled in.
"It's… completely gone. How is that even possible?"
All beings within the Prime Expanse were, of course, aware of the Lower Framework. Under certain circumstances, they could even travel below.
What they didn't know—well, the Wardens at least—was what this truly meant for the Prime Expanse itself.
Before she could recover from the shock, the vision shifted.
This time, she spotted two women standing in one of the Thresholds nearest to the Wall of Death — the massive barrier holding the battlefield that divided Existence from Nonexistence.
The air around them was thick with tension, and the distant Wall of Death loomed behind them like a living monument, its surface still faintly trembling from the earlier cataclysm.
