"The White Fang? Hah, of course! I don't think there's a Faunus on the planet who hasn't heard of them." Sun snorted before taking a drink from his cup. "Stupid, holier-than-thou creeps who use force to get whatever they want. Bunch of freaks, if you ask me."
"I was once a member of the White Fang."
"Pffft!"
Sun immediately spat out his drink. He coughed, nearly went cross-eyed, and hastily set his cup down before wiping his mouth.
"Wait, wait, wait." He pointed at Blake. "You were a member of the White Fang?"
Then he turned toward Clerval, who accepted the cup of coffee a waiter had just brought him, and gestured wildly as if asking, "are you hearing this?".
"That's right. I was a member for most of my life, actually. You could say that I was born into it..."
"Back then, things were different. In the ashes of war, the White Fang was meant to be a symbol of peace and unity between Humans and the Faunus."
"Of course, despite being promised equality, the Faunus were subjected to discrimination and hate. Humanity still considered us to be lesser beings. And so, the White Fang rose up as a voice of our people. And I was there."
"I was at the front of every rally. I took part in every boycott. I actually thought we were making a difference... But I was just a youthful optimist."
"Then, five years ago, our leader stepped down, and a new one took his place. A new leader, with a new way of thinking. Suddenly, our peaceful protests were being replaced with organized attacks."
"We were setting fire to shops that refused to serve us, hijacking cargo from companies that used Faunus labor. And the worst part was—it worked. We were being treated like equals. But not out of respect... out of fear."
"So I left. I no longer wanted to use my skills to support that violence. Instead, I chose to become a Huntress."
She sighed, setting her cup back down on the table and looking at the two of them.
"And... here I am: a criminal hiding in plain sight. All thanks to a little black bow."
She adjusted it slightly, her cat ears twitching beneath it for emphasis.
"So..." Sun said slowly, his expression turning serious as he processed everything. "Have you told your friends any of this?"
Blake looked down, shame creeping into her expression.
She said nothing.
Now that he knew about her past, Clerval felt inside him that their relationship had gotten stronger.

"So, what's the plan now?" Sun asked, hands behind his head as they walked through an alleyway leading toward Zone 10.
"I still don't believe the White Fang is behind these robberies," Blake said thoughtfully. "They've never needed this much Dust before."
Sun suddenly stopped.
"But what if they did?"
He dropped his arms and started pacing. "I mean... the only way to prove they didn't do it is to go to the place they would most likely go if they did do it—and not find them there! Right?"
"... How?" Clerval asked.
"Clerval's right," Blake added. "We have no idea where that would be."
Sun pointed at him.
"Well, while I was on the ship, I heard some guys talking about offloading a huge shipment of Dust coming in from Atlas."
Blake stepped forward. "How huge?"
"HUGE," Sun grinned. "Big Schnee Dust Company freighter."
"When is it coming?"
