Chapter 125 - 125. Rose's Entry

My eyes widened in shock.

'Rose?!' I stared in disbelief. What was she doing here? My stomach twisted with unease. Out of all the people who could have walked in, I never expected it to be her.

Rose and the coach stopped in front of each other. A wide, unsettling grin slowly spread across Mr. Sebastian's face as he looked her up and down, his eyes lingering a little too long.

"What are you doing here…?" Mr. Sebastian asked, his voice low and curious. He glanced behind him toward the office door he had just come out of.

Following his gaze, I immediately thought of Mike, who was still inside. My stomach dropped.

'Wait… she's here to meet him? No way…' I thought in disbelief, watching them from inside the locker.

The coach let out a low chuckle, as if he already knew exactly why she was there. He casually reached out his hand toward her. My heart pounded violently in my chest as I watched his hand move closer.

But before he could touch her, Rose quickly slapped his hand away and took a step back. Her face twisted in clear disgust.

"Don't touch me!" she snapped, keeping her head high and her posture firm.

A small wave of relief and pride washed over me.

'That's my Rose,' I thought, watching her stand her ground without backing down.

"So stubborn," Mr. Sebastian chuckled, clearly amused by her reaction.

"Well, it's just a matter of time, you know," he added with a smug look before walking past her. A smirk played on his lips as he headed toward the exit.

"Piece of shit." Rose stood still, glaring at his back. The moment the door closed behind him, she muttered under her breath.

She stood there for a few seconds, taking a deep breath as if trying to calm herself. Her shoulders were slightly tense. After a moment, she turned around and started walking toward the office door, her steps slow but determined.

'I can't let her go in there,' I thought, my heart racing as I prepared to step out of the locker. But before I could move, the office door opened again.

Mike stepped out.

The moment his eyes landed on Rose, his brows lifted slightly and a slow, wicked smirk spread across his face. His lips curled up in a way that made my stomach twist.

"You're early," Mike said with a small smirk as he stepped closer to Rose.

"Why did you call me here?" Rose didn't look happy to see him. She glanced around the dirty, abandoned locker room with a scrunched nose before speaking.

"You know why. I just wanted to talk." Mike tilted his head slightly, still wearing that same smug expression.

He took another step toward her, closing the distance between them. The way he moved was slow but deliberate, like he was enjoying how uncomfortable she looked. My blood boiled as I watched from inside the locker. I wanted nothing more than to walk out and punch him in the face, but I forced myself to stay hidden.

Rose took a small step back, clearly not liking how close he was getting.

"I heard some complaints from the coach," Mike continued, his voice calm but carrying a hint of warning.

"He said you've been acting a little… difficult lately." Rose turned her face away, refusing to meet his eyes. She stayed quiet, but her clenched fists showed she wasn't happy with what she was hearing.

"I didn't come here to listen to this." Rose finally looked at him, her expression cold.

She tried to turn back, but Mike suddenly reached out and grabbed her wrist, stopping her. His grip didn't look too tight, but it was firm enough to keep her in place.

"Where are you going? We're not done talking yet." he asked, his voice dropping lower.

Rose tried to pull her hand away, but Mike didn't let go. Instead, he stepped even closer, his other hand slowly moving toward her waist.

My heart pounded violently as I watched. I wanted to burst out of the locker right then and there, but something told me that doing so would only make things worse for Rose.

Even if I came out right now, I knew I wouldn't be able to do anything. Mike would knock me out in seconds, just like last time. The memory of how easily he had overpowered me was still fresh in my mind, and the thought of facing him again filled me with dread.

I stayed frozen inside the locker, my heart pounding heavily in my chest. I wanted to know what Rose would do. Why was she putting up with this bastard? Why wasn't she pushing him away?

I could only watch in silence as Mike's large hands grabbed her small waist, holding her firmly in place. Rose's body stiffened at first, and I saw her hands twitch like she wanted to push him away. But after a few seconds, her resistance faded. Her arms slowly dropped to her sides, and she stopped struggling.

'No… wait…' I thought desperately, but my body refused to move. I was completely rooted to the spot, forced to watch everything from the narrow gaps of the locker door.

Mike leaned in closer, and before I could even process what was happening, he captured her lips in a deep kiss. One of his hands stayed firmly on her waist while the other moved up to the back of her neck, pulling her closer to him.

The sight sent a sharp pain through my chest. Flashes of that day on the rooftop appeared in my mind. The same way he had kissed her back then, holding her like she already belonged to him. It felt like I was watching the same scene all over again, except this time, it hurt even more. I was witnessing it much closer this this time.

Mike didn't waste any time. The moment his lips touched Rose's, he kissed her deeply, almost hungrily, like he had been waiting for this. His hand on her waist pulled her closer while his other hand stayed firmly on the back of her neck, not letting her pull away.

Rose's body was still tense at first, her hands lightly pressing against his chest like she wanted to push him, but she didn't. Slowly, her resistance started to melt. Her hand clenched his shirt tightly.

To be continued...
