The Black Dragon blinked in exhaustion as he leaned on his lap to draw lazy circles on his forehead as she kept mumbling that name ever since she fell asleep last night.
The first time he heard her say that, all his attempts to fall asleep were wiped completely off his face as he stared at her in disbelief. He thought she was just having a bad dream and this was her way of coping with it, mumbling things that did not make sense to him. But when that was the only thing she mumbled consistently with her eyes closed, the Black Dragon couldn't help but to rise and position himself in a sitting and exhausted pose beside her sleeping form throughout the night.
Now, it was morning, and that was the only thing he kept hearing at the start of his day.
He raised one of his eyebrows when she turned her body to face him. Moaning softly in her sleep as she drooled.
He thought that was the end of being haunted by that dreadful name until…
