Chapter 160: Eliminating Six-Star Dragon
"Ugh!"
Six-Star Dragon's smile froze. After a long moment, it slowly turned its stiff neck to look at the newcomer.
Seeing Turles's back facing it, Six-Star Dragon's mouth twitched. It wanted to say something, but in the end could only manage a bitter smile.
"Turles, you came!"
Six-Star Dragon's voice came out light—so light it was barely audible.
Turles didn't answer. He simply focused on sensing Six-Star Dragon's aura, maintaining his guard. Against opponents like Evil Dragons, Turles didn't dare relax even slightly. He had no intention of stumbling at the final hurdle.
So even though Six-Star Dragon was already gravely injured, he deliberately kept his back turned—avoiding direct eye contact with the creature.
Seeing Turles remain unmoved, Six-Star Dragon felt unwillingness surge in its heart. It wanted to say more, but Turles gave it no chance.
He extended one palm. An energy blast began gathering in his hand.
Soon, a bright blue sphere of energy appeared in his palm. Then the energy suddenly surged, beginning to expand rapidly.
Seeing this, Six-Star Dragon knew it was truly finished today. Despair flooded through it, followed by intense anger and unwillingness.
Though it had been born from the desires within the Black Star Dragon Balls, for certain reasons it had only holed up on this planet. It had simply wanted to hide from the other Evil Dragons, to avoid being devoured. It hadn't even harmed the planet's inhabitants—only controlled them.
But in such a short time, Turles's group had tracked it down. Worse, its mental abilities had barely come into play before it was critically injured. Now it faced complete destruction at Turles's hands.
Of course, Six-Star Dragon conveniently ignored the fact that it had planned to control Turles. It blamed everything on him instead.
Wiping blood from its mouth, Six-Star Dragon endured the searing pain and dragged its broken body slowly into the air.
Its eyes locked onto Turles's back, hatred burning undisguised in its gaze.
If Six-Star Dragon's mental power could manifest physically, it would have already riddled Turles's back with holes.
Unfortunately, reality offered no such mercy. It could only glare at Turles with seething resentment.
"Turles, I know this is all because of you. I know you fear my abilities. But I never imagined you'd find such a lunatic. This time, you win!"
As Six-Star Dragon's words fell, Turles still showed no intention of responding. He simply waited quietly, as if demonstrating his contempt.
The air suddenly grew still. Apart from the howling wind and Six-Star Dragon's labored breathing, no other sounds remained.
The energy blast in Turles's hand continued expanding. It had already reached basketball size, its brilliant glow illuminating one side of Turles's face while casting deep shadows on the other.
Turles remained completely calm despite Six-Star Dragon's words—even though he detected a hint of grievance in them.
Glancing down at the energy blast in his hand, Turles increased the energy output several notches, making the sphere expand further.
Slowly closing his eyes, Turles turned his body to face Six-Star Dragon directly. Without giving it any more time, he sent the energy blast flying toward his target.
Watching the blast approach and sensing the terrifying power it contained, Six-Star Dragon could no longer maintain its anger. Fear of death filled its eyes.
"Turles, let me go! I—"
Without letting Six-Star Dragon finish, Turles shoved his right hand forward. The energy blast accelerated, reaching Six-Star Dragon in the blink of an eye.
The moment the blast made contact with Six-Star Dragon's broken body, it suddenly expanded, erupting in blinding light that completely engulfed the creature.
"No—"
Six-Star Dragon released one piercing shriek before it was cut short. A terrifying energy wave began spreading in all directions.
BOOM!
The shockwave whipped Turles's clothes violently. Then came the thunderous explosion.
Turles floated in midair, calmly watching the cataclysmic blast before him, his eyes showing not the slightest ripple.
Because of the Six-Star Dragon Ball's presence, Turles hadn't used destruction energy. So while the explosion was spectacular, to his current strength it felt like nothing more than a gentle breeze.
Before long, the explosion's fury completely subsided. Turles moved, appearing instantly at Six-Star Dragon's former position. His eyes fixed on the gray-black glass orb lying on the ground.
Click.
Turles descended, walking several steps to reach the orb. He bent down and picked it up.
The Six-Star Dragon Ball.
Looking at the six black stars inside the glass sphere, a slight smile curved Turles's lips.
Another Dragon Ball obtained. Once purified, they'd be one step closer to completing their mission.
"Boss Turles!"
Just as Turles felt satisfaction at recovering another Dragon Ball, Caulifla's voice rang out.
Following the sound, he saw Caulifla appear in his vision with Carrit's group behind her.
However, the group seemed somewhat distracted, their eyes frequently glancing in a particular direction.
"Boss Turles, Kale, she—"
Caulifla flashed to Turles's side, completely ignoring the Dragon Ball in his hand. She simply looked at him with pleading eyes.
Seeing the urgency on Caulifla's face, Turles naturally understood her concern about Kale's condition.
Now that he'd recovered the Six-Star Dragon Ball, Turles nodded to the group. "I know. I'll go wake Kale now!"
With that, Turles vanished from their sight.
Seeing Turles disappear, Caulifla relaxed somewhat. Surveying the surroundings, she finally noticed the battle's aftermath and murmured:
"Has Boss Turles already eliminated Six-Star Dragon?"
Just as Caulifla's murmur ended, a faint, almost imperceptible wave swept across her body.
Caulifla seemed to sense something. She couldn't help shaking her head and glancing around.
"Caulifla, what's wrong?"
Cabba noticed Caulifla's strange reaction. He walked forward several steps, coming to her side with a questioning look.
Hearing Cabba's voice, Caulifla snapped out of it. She shook her head and replied casually, "Nothing!"
Cabba assumed Caulifla was worried about Kale's condition and immediately offered comfort. "Don't worry. Didn't Mr. Turles already go? I'm sure he'll bring Kale back soon!"
"You think so?"
With Cabba's reassurance, Caulifla completely relaxed. The worry vanished from her face, replaced by a smile.
Caulifla naturally knew Turles's capabilities. Only because it involved Kale had she been unable to fully relax.
Meanwhile, when Turles reappeared, he'd already arrived directly in front of Kale.
Whoosh!
The moment he materialized, Turles felt a fierce wind rushing toward his face.
As if completely unsurprised by the incoming attack, Turles simply tilted his head slightly. The wind grazed past his nose.
Looking at the fist stopped before his eyes—mere millimeters from his nose—Turles raised his arm in a movement that seemed slow but was actually swift. He deflected the fist with a light tap, sending its owner flying backward.
"ROAR!"
Being brushed aside so casually by Turles, Kale roared and tried to charge again.
But Turles gave her no such opportunity. He vanished from his position, reappearing instantly before Kale.
Facing Kale at close range, Turles ignored the shock in her eyes and extended his hand directly toward her forehead.
Kale's reaction speed wasn't slow. Seeing Turles attack, she instinctively tried to defend.
But the moment Kale started raising her arm, Turles's finger had already touched her forehead.
Kale felt a coolness on her forehead. Then her vision went black as she plunged into complete darkness.
Turles reached out and grabbed the back of Kale's collar with his right hand, lifting up the little girl who'd reverted from her Legendary transformation.
"Little one, time for a good sleep!"
With a smile and those words, Turles used Instant Transmission once more, vanishing from the spot.
Supreme Kai Realm.
Golden clouds appeared in the sky again—another Super Saiyan God was born.
"Cabba, catch!"
Accepting the Six-Star Dragon Ball Turles handed over, Cabba blinked his red eyes as he watched the Dragon Ball's appearance slowly begin to change.
In less than a moment, the gray Six-Star Dragon Ball regained its clear, translucent orange-red glow. The red stars inside shone brilliantly.
"Another Dragon Ball recovered!"
Supreme Kai Fuwa looked at the restored Dragon Ball, a smile spreading across his face. He gazed at Cabba with eyes full of satisfaction.
Two of the seven Evil Dragons had been eliminated. Two Dragon Balls had been purified. At this rate, within a month the Black Star Dragon Ball crisis would be completely resolved, and Universe 6's danger would be lifted.
Once the Dragon Ball crisis was fully resolved, these Saiyans' combat strength would certainly grow even stronger.
Though increasing Caulifla's group's battle power wouldn't raise Universe 6's overall ranking—after all, there were simply too many races across the universe, and no one knew exactly how many lifeforms existed in any given universe—Universe 6's foundation would still be strengthened. Moreover, Fuwa had developed new ideas about creating new life forms.
With another Dragon Ball collected, relaxation time had arrived. And for Saiyans, what could be more relaxing than a feast?
So after Fuwa prepared abundant food, the Saiyans could think of nothing else. They threw themselves wholeheartedly into the meal. When Turles brought out Earth delicacies, the atmosphere reached its peak.
"Ah! That hits the spot!"
After downing a full cup of energy drink, Turles sprawled on the ground and sighed contentedly.
Being able to resolve the Six-Star Dragon problem so quickly had lifted a weight from Turles's mind.
Previously, because of the Evil Dragons—this anomaly that should have appeared on Earth—Turles had felt inevitably uneasy.
Turles didn't know if the Evil Dragons had appeared in Universe 6 because of his transmigration.
But since he'd encountered them, whether out of his own moral sense or to advance his strength through eliminating the Evil Dragons, Turles took the matter very seriously.
After Caulifla's group joined in, Turles felt an even greater sense of responsibility. After all, Caulifla called him "Boss."
So in handling the Evil Dragon situation, Turles maintained a cautious attitude. Whether it was the Evil Dragons' battle power or their special abilities, Turles had to ensure everything remained within his control.
Fortunately, things had proceeded without major incident. Neither Three-Star Dragon's darkness ability nor Six-Star Dragon's mental power had caused them any harm. The battles had even resulted in further increases to everyone's strength.
Thinking of this, Turles felt even more pleased.
"Boss, what are you smiling about?"
Suddenly, Caulifla's head appeared in Turles's field of vision. She stared at his face suspiciously.
"Get away, get away!"
Turles propped himself up with his arms, performing a carp-flip to stand. He rubbed her fluffy head and pushed her away from his face.
Didn't she see Cabba staring at them? Turles could practically smell the jealousy in those eyes from here.
Caulifla had no idea what Turles was thinking. She only felt dissatisfied that Turles had ruffled her hair—it made her feel he still saw her as a child.
Glaring hatefully at Turles, Caulifla made a face at him before walking toward her friend.
To Turles, Caulifla was like a little sister. He always showed her extra indulgence, so he just shook his head with a smile at her antics.
However, watching the two girls huddle together whispering, Turles stroked his chin, pondering something.
He didn't know why, but after returning to Supreme Kai Realm, Turles kept feeling something odd about Caulifla's aura.
Especially earlier when everyone had connected to transform Cabba into a Super Saiyan God, that strange feeling had intensified through their linked auras.
"Cabba, haven't you noticed anything strange about Caulifla's aura?"
Suddenly, Turles whipped his head around and asked Cabba, who'd approached him.
"What?"
Cabba was completely confused by Turles's sudden question. He looked at Turles with bewilderment.
Actually, Turles couldn't quite put his finger on what felt strange. Seeing Cabba's confused expression, Turles thought perhaps he was overthinking. He shook his head. "Nothing!"
"By the way, did you come over here for something?"
"Oh. I wanted to ask, when we'll go eliminate the other Evil Dragons?"
Turles looked at Cabba suspiciously. "What's this about? Do you want to experience the Super Saiyan God form again?"
They'd only just finished with Six-Star Dragon, yet Cabba was already eager to tackle the next Evil Dragon. Turles figured he wanted another taste of the SSG transformation.
It was understandable. Super Saiyan God transformation was a leap in life level. For those who'd experienced it, the allure was unimaginable.
However, Turles still advised Cabba: "Super Saiyan God is certainly wonderful, but I'll say this again—it's best if you can complete the transformation yourself. If you rely too much on others' help to achieve it, that won't be good for your future!"
By the end, Turles's expression had grown completely serious.
He thought highly of Cabba and naturally didn't want him to go astray.
Hearing Turles's words, Cabba's face stiffened momentarily. But he quickly recovered, bowing to Turles. "Thank you for your guidance, Turles-san!"
"Mm!"
Watching Cabba's retreating back, Turles somehow felt another twinge of wrongness in his heart!
