Arc expres the testing room. He saw his friend Adam who got already tested.
"So What type did you get?"- Arc Asked
"I got green, support Base and you?- Adam asked
"I got red, physical Base, but it's good, because the doctor said it's a strong one"-Arc said with a sigh
"I would want to have red Base, because that would mean that, i could be a normal person living simple save life"- Adam said
"did you awaken your gift, Adam?- Arc asked
"yes, it's connected to my Base, i can amplify someones strenght, speed or other physical aspect and did you manage to awaken yours?
"unfortunately No, i didn't awaken it"- Arc said sadly
Green bases Were pretty rare only one in 1000 people statistically has one, so these that don't have weak bases are obligated to work for goverment.
They then exited the building and waiting in front it was Ada
"man i've been waiting for you half an hour, What bases did you get"- she asked
The boys told her about their evaluation
"I got a blue Base, i Think it's very cool" - Ada said
"And I awakened my gift "- she said with a smile
"guess What it is"- she said
"i don't know with blue Base you can get probably manipulation of some material or something that has to do with utility"- Arc said
"I would say that it's manipulation of i don't know heat maybe?" - Arc said
"wow youre right, i didn't expect you to guess it" - Ada said
Suddenly they saw a big explosion near them from the wall of the building. After they saw some more explosions. Suddenly 3 guards, one was wounded, appered before the smoke from the explosion. A group of 4 people was seen running out of the smoke, 2 wounded, one woman and 3 men. All the men were carrying each 2 teenagers like Arc, woman was fighting the guards.
"Fucking guards"- she said
"why are they always so annoying, Radcliff and Carol go run to the teleporter"- She said as she used a weird barrier like abilty on them
Suddenly a men stepped out of the portal.
the group fighting the guards ran in the direction of the "teleporter".
Teleporter was probably a man wearing a big brown cloak that covered his whole with a hood and his face was hidden beneath a mask with eyeholes and weird inscribing looking like snakes.
4 other man appered jumping from the roof of the building, each one holding the teenagers.
when they got to "teleporter" suddenly a strong pressure descended upon them. they felt their hair standing up.
A man with long blonde hair appered, he was dressed in the warriors uniform and was holding a weird sword.
the uniform of warrior was a highly personal thing to them, because a warrior is each one an elite unit of the kingdom, so each one of them can customize it to some degree
this man was wearing long robe up to his knees, a breastplate, military shoes and lastly a plaque
with his name and his ranking (i will talk about it later)
"Oh no, how did a warrior get in here "- one of the men said
"And he has a particle weapon , i will try to stall for a bit of time until all our people are here" - the man called "teleporter" said
"what's a particle weapon" - another men near the "teleporter" asked
"It's a powerful weapon that can emit particles and in the right hands can do a lot of harm, if you activate your base you will see that it looks like a living organism, some even have their own particle bases, which means these things are kind of living organisms"- "teleporter" said
"Rebel dogs" - the warrior said as he atacked the "teleporter"
Arc was running away from the battlefield with his friends and other civilians, when they saw another group of rebels running towards them
running in front of the group was a big man in his late 30s, certainly above 2 meter height, he had short black curly hair and had muscles all over him. He was wearing black coat with nothing beneath it, so you could see a big scar on his chest, black cargo trousers, and high sneakers. What stood out the most was a gigant sword on his back which was as big as an adult man. Beside him ran 5 rebels.
"We must have a mole in our operation, they wouldn't send 3 warriors on the examination if they wouldn't knew. Almost always on the examination there was 1 warrior and maybe some very young ones that have just graduated, but now 3 real warriors on the examination, Gilde, one killed your whole squad right?- he asked
Gilde was a girl, with brown hair to her waist, amber eyes and she was wearing standard rebel outfit ,she was a teenager
rebel outfit was mostly civilian clothing , they wore such outfits to blend with civilians, so it's harder to track them
"I couldn't do anything agaist him, he burned two my squadmates to crisp and Gador was fighting him with his sword, but lost even though warrior was fighting my two squadmates at the same time, when he dealt with them he impaled gador on his spear and laughed saying, they were so weak, that he wasn't really needed here, i saw it when i was running away as they told me"- Gilde said with emotions
"I'm sorry for you, i know what it means to lose your friends"- he said with a deep look
"You were one of the kids coming for the examination as a spy and you have a support base, so you are an important asset to us, they knew we couldn't lose you, so they sacrificed themsleves for you. My squad managed to get only one "recruit"-Big man said with a sad sigh
one of the man was carying a knocked out boy
"Oh look there are some kids in the crowd, that look almost your age gilde, they are probably just awakened, let's snatch them up, before we leave"- big man said
When Arc saw them running towards them he tried running in the alley however They quickly surrounded them
the crowd did not help the kids, they even started running from the fight even faster so the rebels had it easier to get to the kids.
"Kids, we can do it the hard way or the easy way, it's up to you, you will come with or we will take you with us by force"- big man said
The kids Ada and Adam were very scared so they just froze in place, but arc tried breaking through to the crowd.
he tried attacking the guy standing nearest to the crowd but he caught him and choked him till he passed out.
The man took uncouncious arc and carried him on his back. Adam and Ada were taken like Arc but were concious.
"Ok, quickly let's run to the "teleporter"- big man said
Suddenly a flame erupted killing one of the squadmembers of the rebels.
The warrior was wearing typical warrior uniform with red ornaments on his breastplate, he was a handsome man in his 20s with curly black hair up to his ears slicked to the sides.
They, saw the warrior moving towards them so fast, that it looked as if he was flying.
"Fuck, don't stop till you reach our "exit", i will stay and stall the warrior for a while"- Big man said
He swung his giant sword at the warrior with such force that the sword almost bended.
The warrior blocked it with his spear with it's handle, he wasn't expecting such force.
it's cracked the spear a bit.
The crowd started running away from the 2 fights in every direction
"You're much stronger than the guys that i dealt with on the way here"- he said with a serious look
They exchanged a few slashes, but none of them stood out form the other.
"Your technique, I can see hints of swordmanship that i know in it"- he said with a smile
"I KNOW, you are a traitor, you are one of them aren't you, you must be, you have to"- The warrior said as he descended into fury.
The big mans eyes seemed as if they gotten a bit darker, but the look on his face was the same, as if he was trying to keep his emotions inside him.
Warriors's spear started burning with a flame so hot that the bricks on the road started heating up.
"You will not survive this attack, traitor"- the warrior shouted fiercely
The big man raised his sword up preparing for the attack, his sword suddnely started radiating a red light.
the crowd alredy almost disappered.
The warriors lunged with his spear so fast that he chenged into red flaming laser flying towards the rebel
the big man stood waitning for his opponent as if nothing could make him move, but his sword suddenly became red and got so heavy that the ground cracked underneath the fighters, that it made the warrior slow down wit a surpise.
"A particle weapon, but i didn't see any particles in it, but now it's overflown with them, what is this?"- the warrior said scared
Then the slash descended, it looked as if it weighted as much as a big building, when it struck a big shockwave appered.
From the shockwave appered 2 silhouetes one standing and one crouching.
The warrior looked fine standing straight, but before him layed his cracked spear.
Before him the big man was crouching, he stood up with his sword rady to end the warrior looking and said
"Kid, I won't kill you, because you are just a rookie that knows shit about the institution you work in, I pity you, that is why i will spare you"- the big man said
"You fucking traitor, we glorious warriors, we are the apex of this country, "- The warrior started shouting in rage, but before he finished he found that a blue thin dagger was struck into his throat.
Suddenly another figure appered in the smoke, a small thin woman in her 20s dressed in purple nun robe, with white complexion and long blue hair in ponytail.
"You are still the same old Patrick Redheart, always pitying your enemies like a little girl" - the girl said
"And you are still this little selfish cunt that kills, without even thinking, Jane"- Patrick said
The warrior fell on the ground and bled to death. The girl took her dagger.
"Ok, let's go to the "teleporter", don't you think so "brick" " - the girl said with a mocking smile
Patrick only grunted and followed behind the girl
At the first battlefield before this big grey portal and other rebels and scared kids the "telporter" was already missing an arm and was in a visibly bad state, but the warrior was only a little tired. As he saw Jane and Patrick.
The kids when they found the moment were escaping knowing that the warrior will protect them from the rebels.
One of escapists was Adam and Ada that found a good timing to escape, but Arc got caught by one of the rebels, because of getting hurt by the rebels when they captured him.
His friends tried helping him but it was too late as a big ugly rebel threw him into the potral.
"Ok, i will close the portal when they are near us, enter it now, all of you, force the remaining kids in"- he screamed tired
"What about the rest "- one of the rebels said nervously
"Either our group will make it home or none of us, choose"- "Teleporter" said
No one tired to argue with him
Due to his spatial abilty he was a good defender but a lacking atacker so he managed to defend the rebels and the captured kids, but he can't defend for long, because his gift was very tiring to use.
"Civilians, get out of this area, please or you will get badly hurt"- the warrior with blonde hair screamed.
then he transformed his weapon into a gun like sword with blue light coming out of it's tip.
He aimed it at the rebels near the portal. and fired a white laser that cut 2 rebels in half.
"Shit, it's too fast I can't deflect it"- "teleporter" said
Jane and patrick arrived to the group while dodging lasers and entered the portal.
"OK, I'm closing the portal"- he said, as he jumped into the portal last.
