Chapter 268 - Is Arishem Dead?

Arishem's perception was 360 degrees, with no blind spots. However, Aaron's speed was faster than his reaction speed.

As soon as Arishem turned around, a fist the size of America appeared before him.

This time, Aaron used [Limit Breakthrough], gaining a 20× boost.

Coupled with super speed approaching the speed of light, Aaron's attack trajectory transformed into a pure black line. In nanoseconds, it once again slammed into Arishem's right cheek.

Boom!

Arishem's body flew backward at the speed of light, and a tiny crack appeared on his red, indestructible facial dimensional armor.

Arishem clutched his right cheek, Celestial Power attempting to repair the armor crack. But [Unhealing Scar] greatly slowed down the recovery speed.

Aaron's attack did not stop.

"Arishem, first try the power of an Eternal Phoenix Core." Aaron's mental voice arrived first.

He injected the energy of an Eternal Phoenix Core into this massive body.

Phoenix Fire, Eternal Flame, and solar fire transformed into tangible fiery halos at this moment, enveloping Aaron completely.

The terrifying flame dispelled the darkness, burning even more fiercely in the oxygen-less vacuum of space.

The light brought by hundreds of billions of degrees of high temperature, and the explosive heat, surpassed that of the sun.

Before Aaron, the surrounding stars seemed like tiny, insignificant specks.

The Eternal Phoenix Core's energy temporarily strengthened this body, his power increasing by another thousandfold.

Aaron didn't use other flashy methods, simply throwing another punch in a very unpretentious manner.

Arishem's expression remained calm and composed. His six eyes simultaneously gathered energy, then unleashed six destructive beams of light, vaporizing thousands of meteorites along the way.

The beams collided with Aaron a second later, with no stalemate. Aaron easily pushed back Arishem's rays and slammed into his abdomen.

"It's useless. I created this universe. Even if you possess Tiamut's power, you cannot shake the universe itself."

Arishem remained motionless this time. Although this punch was enough to blow up the Solar System, Arishem could create a Solar System.

Aaron was not surprised.

To try and defeat Arishem with mere stellar system-level power would be underestimating the value of the Prime Celestial.

But...

"Warm-up's over."

Aaron did not retract his fist, secretly mobilizing the energy of a small universe.

In an instant, an energy explosion trillions of times more terrifying than before erupted.

The raging Phoenix Fire, accompanied by a sharp phoenix cry, saw its temperature skyrocket countless times. In a flash, it approached the Planck temperature.

Temperatures as high as 1.4 quintillion degrees burned through time and shook space.

Arishem was shocked.

Even more terrifying was the destruction power contained within it.

The energy surge that erupted in that instant alone shattered Arishem's dimensional armor, revealing the non-physical body that did not exist within.

Arishem's expression finally changed.

If the previous Aaron was merely a decent Celestial, then the current Aaron was like a small universe with endless power.

But his arrogance meant he couldn't react effectively at this moment.

That vast energy, like the Big Bang, converged at a single point and slammed into his abdomen.

Crack—

The dimensional armor on his abdomen cracked like shattered glass, turning into dust, and then incinerated into nothingness.

Aaron's right fist, unimpeded, pierced through Arishem's abdomen and lifted him high.

The flames burning around him were gradually destroying other parts of Arishem's dimensional armor.

This super armor, capable of resisting the Big Bang and surpassing all known and unknown objects in the universe, was like paper before Aaron.

At the same time, the terrifying temperature erupting around Aaron instantly wiped out this unknown starfield.

Although Aaron intentionally concentrated this power at a single point, it still unleashed a terrifying tide no less powerful than the Big Bang.

The area centered on the two of them turned into nothingness while the energy tide spread outwards at the speed of light, the outermost part of the energy even exceeding the speed of light.

Innumerable stars were extinguished, turning into absolute stillness.

If left unchecked, the entire universe would be reset by this force.

"Well done."

"Arishem is dead!"

"Uncle Aaron is too powerful. This is the King of Asgard."

Thor heavily swung his fist, his excitement making it seem as if he were one of the protagonists, experiencing it firsthand.

Odin breathed a sigh of relief.

When he saw that Aaron's punch hadn't harmed Arishem, he almost couldn't control his expression, nearly revealing his worry.

But it was fine.

Aaron was Aaron. He never disappointed.

But was Arishem really dead?

Looking at Arishem's half-destroyed body, Odin was quite perplexed.

The Celestials were incredibly powerful, so powerful that they surpassed the understanding of even those who were also Gods.

According to legend, Arishem had existed since before the Universe appeared. Even the Big Bang couldn't harm him.

Could he really be defeated so easily by Aaron?

But the energy Aaron unleashed just now was too vast.

Odin silently put away Gungnir, and the Bifrost Bridge, which was gathering energy, ceased its colorful glow.

Compared to the energy Aaron unleashed, the power accumulated by the Bifrost Bridge was merely a fleeting spark, utterly insignificant.

Tiny and brief.

"Oh no!"

Heimdall's eyes widened.

Several people quickly looked over.

Arishem's shattered body suddenly dissipated.

"You surprise me. Tiamut definitely doesn't possess such power. But that's all there is to it." Arishem's voice came from all directions.

He had now detached from his physical body, spreading throughout the surrounding space in an energy state.

It wasn't that Arishem didn't want to condense into a physical form, but that he couldn't.

Arishem gathered his energy, forming an illusory body composed of pure energy, without his Dimensional Armor.

Aaron's ability made it impossible for him to return to his original state for a time.

However, it didn't matter if he lost his physical body.

As the leader of the Celestials, the material body was merely a shell presented to outsiders. He was inherently formless and intangible, transcending the Universe.

This time, he had been overconfident and suffered a small loss.

Now, Arishem decided to get serious, viewing Aaron as a formidable opponent on his level.

Aaron felt the surrounding space being violently squeezed by a powerful force.

Arishem was using his authority over the Universe, attempting to bind him with the most fundamental rules of the Universe.

"Even with a physical body, you were no match for me. Now that I've destroyed your body, do you really think you can turn the tables?"

Aaron didn't use the Grand Unification Force, he merely added some fire to his body's surface.

The violent and fervent Chaos Flames tore apart the minutest particles that constituted gravity and electromagnetism.

Seeing this, Arishem retreated a distance to avoid the terrifying and incomprehensible flames.

He didn't understand why the Phoenix Fire was so fervent.

The Phoenix Fire, despite not being pure, could coexist with other flames without assimilating or destroying them. This did not conform to the Phoenix's established characteristics and image.

Moreover, the Phoenix Fire mixed with other flames was even more powerful and mysterious than the original version.

Was Aaron a Phoenix host?

No, absolutely impossible.

He had seen the Dark Phoenix, the White Phoenix, and even the Phoenix itself.

Aaron was not any form of Phoenix, yet he was even more terrifying than the Phoenix Force.

At least in terms of potential.

"There's no need for war between us. If the two of us continue to fight, the only outcome will be the Universe withering."

"This Universe will fall into eternal silence. That's not the outcome you want, is it?"

Arishem said solemnly, "With your capabilities, there should be a place for you among the Celestials."

"As long as you are willing to replace Tiamut and fulfill his duties, then I am willing to stop the judgment of Earth."

Aaron asked, "Are you threatening me?"

Arishem seemed to be yielding, but Aaron wasn't buying it.

What kind of bullshit duty? He didn't care.

He was a mere laborer before transmigration, and he'd be a laborer after transmigration?

He must be crazy.
