Chapter 326 - What's With All These Events?

After realizing that the Penance Stare had no effect on him, Aaron suddenly felt bored.

He instantly appeared in front of Johnny and, in the latter's flustered gaze, grabbed the Hellfire.

[Penance Stare: You have gained the Power of Judgment. Anyone who meets your gaze will have their soul burned based on the degree of their sin and Karma. The deeper the sin, the stronger the judgment.]

[Note: This ability is ineffective against people with no sin and beings with extremely powerful souls. The stronger your own soul, the stronger this ability will be.]

[Chaos Core: Your miniature core has integrated the characteristics of Hellfire, possessing powerful immortality and other abilities.]

[Demonization: You can empower any object (living or non-living) with the power of Hellfire, making it tougher and stronger, while also allowing it to harm the soul.]

Hmm? Is the Penance Stare actually an evolutionary ability?

Aaron's interest heightened slightly.

Originally, he didn't have high hopes for the Penance Stare. But if it can evolve, that's a different story.

He now possessed a Cosmic-level soul. Ordinary Soul-level attacks couldn't affect him at all.

Compared to Ghost Rider, or even the Spirit of Vengeance itself, he was countless times stronger. This meant his Penance Stare was even more powerful than that of Ghost Rider.

Golden Flames flickered in Aaron's eyes. When they swept over Johnny, the latter felt a chill run through him, a feeling that even the temperature of Hellfire couldn't warm.

"If there's nothing else, I'll be leaving now?"

Johnny took a few steps back and approached his motorcycle.

Hellfire transformed this unremarkable Harley motorcycle into a magnificent heavy motorcycle, its tires emitting eerie flames.

"God of miracles, please be extra careful lately."

"The Demons are brewing a super storm, they definitely won't give up easily."

"Please be prepared, the knocking from Hell is about to sound."

"We don't have much time left."

Johnny mounted the Hellfire Motorcycle and sped away, leaving a trail of fire in his wake. He climbed mountains and crossed rivers, all obstacles were like flat ground to him.

"Darling, are you okay?" Mary asked, filled with worry.

Aaron smiled dismissively. "Don't worry, they are just a bunch of incompetents barking."

He actually hoped those Dimensional Rulers could truly unite and create a terrifying spokesperson. That way, he wouldn't have to go knocking on their doors one by one.

Mary was still worried, but seeing Aaron's confident demeanor, she couldn't help but become mesmerized.

A man so confident and serious makes one lose control and become impatient.

Mary's hand slowly moved downward.

Aaron glanced around, hugged Mary, and immediately teleported away.

A few blocks away, at a bustling street corner, an old man appeared unnoticed. He wore a tailcoat, a round hat, and carried a cane, resembling a noble gentleman. He watched Johnny, who was in his ordinary human form, speed past on his Harley motorcycle.

"I told you, Ghost Rider is unreliable. Did you think that man was so weak, so easily taken down by a mere junior?"

Another man appeared beside the old man, wearing a Silver-White Helmet, standing at least two meters tall, and having an extremely muscular build. Only his eyes and mouth were visible, and his imposing physique caused people nearby to instinctively walk around him.

"Crimson Lord, you are right. It seems that to deal with that guy, we need to raise the difficulty."

The old man wore a mix of flattery and restraint on his face.

"We need a truly evil person, a spokesperson who embraces darkness and harbors deep resentment. The guy you chose is unsuitable."

Red halos flickered in the muscular man's eyes.

He looked at the Aaron Industries Building, which stood out among the buildings, and rage burned fiercely in his heart.

Sitting at home, yet disaster strikes from the sky.

He, Cyttorak, the strongest Dimensional Ruler, hadn't gone looking for trouble in this Universe, yet the opponent came right to his doorstep.

What a humiliation was this?

"Crimson Lord, give me some more time. I will select the most suitable target and make that guy pay the price." The gentlemanly old man bowed slightly.

"Mephisto, find a suitable target as soon as possible. You know I don't have much patience or time."

Mephisto still smiled and respectfully said, "As you wish, Crimson Lord."

However, right at that moment, a cold light suddenly flew in from outside the sky.

Mephisto and Juggernaut (Cyttorak's vessel) looked up simultaneously. Before they could react, the cold light flashed past like lightning and pierced both of them instantly.

"This... is this the Soulsword?"

"No, this isn't the Magik's doing, this is Aaron's Soulsword."

The sudden sword instantly tore apart the physical bodies of the two Dimensional Rulers walking in the human World.

Even though they constantly activated their power, they couldn't repair their injuries.

The Soulsword suddenly erupted with intense light. Mephisto and Juggernaut let out miserable screams.

"Damn you, Aaron, just you wait, I will definitely return!"

"Ah!"

This light contained power that countered the Dark Energy. Combined with the Soulsword's demon-breaking, guaranteed hit, and suppression attributes, even a Clone of such powerful beings was utterly destroyed.

Johnny sensed something, turning his head to look behind him, where a fleeting demonic aura had appeared. However, when he sensed carefully, he didn't detect anything unusual.

At the same moment, a furious roar came from the Outer Plane, the Crimson Cosmos.

Meanwhile, in a dark alley near the Stark Tower in New York.

A golden gate appeared.

Following it, a mysterious team emerged—men and women, all wearing special uniforms and carrying staff-like or gun-like weapons.

The sturdy woman leading them looked around and spotted two ragged, dumbfounded homeless men staring at them behind her.

The woman frowned slightly, took a staff from her waist, and walked up to the homeless men under their terrified gazes.

"Wait, we didn't see anything, please spare us."

"If you want to conquer this world, I can guide you."

The woman said nothing, pressed a button, and the eyes of the two homeless men became dull and confused.

The woman pressed another mysterious device, and the homeless men froze.

"Director, we have confirmed the target. This is Universe 188188."

A man walked up, looking at the Instrument in his hand, and said.

The woman nodded. "Cannot use the Time Controller?"

"No, we cannot travel through time in this Universe."

Hearing this, a look of amazement appeared on the woman's face, mixed with solemnity.

"If that's the case, then we haven't come to the wrong place."

"Head to Aaron Industries immediately."

"What kind of day is today?"

"Why is everyone gathering here?"

Aaron was sitting by the window, wearing only a pair of shorts.

Behind him, Mary lied weakly on the bed, her face flushed.

After the intense battle, Aaron looked down from his vantage point, seeing through the layers of obstacles to the Time Hunters blocked outside the gate.

Since returning, he had met the Ancient One, then Captain Marvel, and then Ghost Rider came knocking.

He conveniently dealt with two Dimensional Ruler Incarnations and spokespersons who didn't know what was good for them.

And now, people from the Time Variance Authority were showing up.

If it weren't for the fact that these people had little connection to each other, Aaron would even suspect they had arranged to gather in this Universe on the same day to play cards.

"Darling, you should go attend to your business. I really can't move."

Mary's face still showed the lingering afterglow, and she was so limp that she couldn't even bother to prop herself up.

Aaron nodded. "Rest well."

With that, Aaron slowly changed clothes and went downstairs.
