Recalling the scene of the Creditor being imprisoned, Pangu gazed tenderly at the God of Order.
"You are my extended perception, my proud child, and an indispensable member of our family."
"The things you hid from me... I forgive you."
The Creator's tone was gentle, his eyes gleaming with an all-seeing light:
"Come to think of it, you were the first to detect all of the Creditor's schemes and report them to me. I ought to reward you—"
He fixed his gaze upon his eldest son. "What do you desire?"
The God of Order looked up and answered without hesitation:
"I want a girlfriend."
"One... who can stand on equal footing with me."
Pangu was slightly taken aback, then let out a soft laugh:
"Are you already at such an age?"
"Is there someone you have in mind?"
"Is there not?" A bitter smile flickered at the corner of the God of Order's lips. "The one choice who can stand equal with me... is only one."
A knowing look deepened in Pangu's eyes:
"Could it be... my younger daughter?"
"I'm afraid so," the God of Order responded softly. "There is no other choice."
The hall fell into sudden silence. At length, Pangu let out a gentle sigh:
"No wonder."
"This must not be easy for you."
"It's not too difficult, actually," the God of Order regained his usual composure. "There are plenty of ways."
"As you wish," Pangu turned to gaze into the distance. "But your sister must agree."
The God of Order bowed deeply:
"Thank you, Father."
