Chapter-
"We have to tell the others. Let's take nami and the rest" Xiang spoke, she used her powers to turn Kento's hands and legs to jelly.
"What?" Kento gasped before falling face first onto the ground.
"Where's Nerina?" Thalia looked around desperately.
Xiang sighed, "we should worry about the issues at hand"
"no, tell me where she is!"
Xiang grew silent before replying
"It seems like… Sabina took her" Xiang trembled. "We were too late."
"tsk- we were so close!" Thalia grunted. "we will find her.."
"It seems so, and we don't know how their hide-out is." Ishaan said
"It's possible she attacked Kento first because of his tracking abilities." Nami spoke.
"Possibly, but we can take advantage of it, we can hopefully make him locate their hide out, he's still under her spell, I can heal him, but I doubt I'll be able to get rid of the evil she casted." Xiang
"At least there's hope, we should take them back immediately. " Ishaan moved.

"What happened here!?" the head slammed the door open.
"It seems the new teacher wasn't here for a lesson" a healer spoke.
"It was an invasion, Sabina took two of our students, Nerina and Keith." Nami placed her hand on her bruise. "We were able to save one, Xiang is trying to heal him, it might take a while"
"Well isn't that great, I was played for a fool" he gritted his teeth.
behind the office doors Kieran and Megumi leaned against the walls
They really took that idiot?" Megumi chuckled. "how lame"
"I'm not saving his ass, he can manage, probably part of his plan." Kieran snickered.

"I'm back, and guess who I brought" Sabina cheered.
"Someone seems happy! I must be dreaming!" a young woman spoke, star shaped pupils shunned brightly. "Ooo!! Guests! "
"I brought the gem, if I can control her, she can tell us exactly where it is. " Sabina said proudly.
"Gem you say? So we really did find the girl?" a voice echoed in the dark room.
"I wanted all of us to meet up and decide on what to do." Sabina continued.
"Well it's only us three, everyone is trying to find each gem of course." the lady's high pitched voice danced.
"So this is the girl? She looks weirdly familiar. I hate that." The man cupped her cheeks. "Is she dead?"
"Well, she became quiet after the fight" Sabina sat on the chair. "quite chatty before, just spouting her ridiculous insecurities.
"Hmm, be careful" The man glanced at Sabina through the corner of his eye.
"Oh please Nabu, she has too much darkness to overcome them, it was that easy to control her" Sabine, laughed in mockery.
Keith walked out of the room
"This idiot said I should capture him, when I said I was taking his precious girlfriend!" She pointed at Keith.
"I'll just pretend I didn't hear that" Rei walked towards Nerina. "She's pretty."
"that's stupid, does he like his enemy?" Nabu clicked. "might be a manipulation technique"
"probably, he did sound awfully pissed at me for targeting her" Sabina yawned.
"We need to act quickly, Sabina, start the process." Nabu stepped a few feet away from Nerina
"Right." Sabina said entering a shadow. "ruined my day"
"it's either we get the two gems or plan b" nabu laughed evily.

"Hello again… Nerina. " a voice echoed.
Nerina's body laid in a field of nothing, drifting through a cloud like state
"Because of you, your secret is safe, no one figured out your powers, do you honestly think you can hold onto this secret forever?"
"I am not sure… they probably all hate me, I can't go back" Nerina sobbed.
"That's right, you shouldn't go back, who knows how they'll treat you." the voice changed.
"If you tell me where your gem is located. I swear, your wish will come true." the voice grew louder.
"Nerina, where's the gem. I promise to make you stronger... once we find it"
"The gem? I don't know.." her voice wobbled. "In a tree? In Eden? In the arena? in Silver dust"
"Where is it?" the voice grew harsher.
"I can't remember… Why do you need it? How is it helping you if it's mine?" Nerina wiped her tears
"Tsk. it's to help you, you want to get stronger right?"
Nerina's still body twitched slightly. Sabine grew wary, before continuing.
"I know how to use the gem. I can help you get stronger." the voice said fading slightly.
"I do wish to become stronger... to protect everyone-" Nerina replied as the voice disappeared

"What happened!? Did it work!?" rei exclaimed.
"It seems there's a spell blocking parts of her memory, she nearly broke free from my spell." Sabina spat.
"I told you to be careful" He looked at Nerina's green eyes "she seems to have multiple spiritual presences." Nabu warned.
"What now? She won't tell us, what are we supposed to do?" Sabina sighed impatiently. "times like these, I wish I brought that stupid locator.

"Urgh… this is quite difficult.." Xiang hastened.
"What's wrong?" Ishaan moved closer to her.
"It seems the particles are mixed a bit with his blood. If I turn it to jelly, he can get hurt" Xiang coughed up some blood.
"You should rest, you've been doing this for 3 hours..." Ishaan frowned
"it's in his bloodstream... that flows through his brain." she paused "it seems Sabine had water style magic. I'll need to be painfully careful, however, only he can choose to stay evil or come back to us" Xiang's hair splatted like little droplets across the floor.
"I was able to gelatinize some parts as promised, he should be awake soon" she wiped her mouth
"You did well, you should rest." Ishaan spoke.

"I can't believe she lied to us," Thalia said.
"Maybe she had her reasons?…" Ravi spoke calmly. "she's been through a lot from what you've told me"
"But we're friends… aren't we?... friends tell everything to each other"
Kyomi huffed impatiently "we came as fast as we could!"
"we heard Kento is safe and sound!" Hinata walked in quickly.
"yeah" Ravi smiled warmly. "Xiang is healing him as we speak..."
"where's Nerina we have to tell her the good news!" Kyomi jumped.
"she got taken by the enemy... the teacher's are trying to locate her" Thalia sighed.
"oh dear... I can't believe this escalated badly... We'll help you find her" Hinata placed her hand on Ravi and Thalia's shoulder.
"just like how you three helped us!" Kyomi added.
"thanks, we really appreciate it" Ravi said.

"I'm kinda scared!!" Kyomi held onto Megumi's arm tightly. "what if he attacks us!?"
"Kento isn't like that, he will come around hopefully." Megumi reassured.
They opened the door to find Kento tied up against a chair, with a tight mouth tape surrounding his mouth.
"Kento!?" Kyomi jumped. "he looks uncomfortable"
"probably covered his arms and mouth to prevent him from spreading the power or attacking" Megumi looked around. "at least he can see us?"
"Kento.." Megumi frowned.

"where am I?" Kento walked around this empty space.
"where's everyone!" his legs sped around the space.
a tall figure with silver hair and noticeable older appearance smiled widely
"dad?!- how- how are you here?!" tears filled Kento's eyes.
"dad I'm coming!" He ran quickly to the figure
the figure laughed "my boy!" it opened it's arms.
as Kento grew closer the shadow slowly withered away.
"dad!? no wait! wait for me!" Kento's face changed as he was taken into a small house.
"why am I at home?" He looked around.
"I don't want you going to the war! who knows what will happen to you!?" a voice cut through the room. A lady with a beautifully styled Kimono hugged the figure tightly.
"it's to protect you all, to make sure my children never experience war." the figure muttered quietly, "with my location magic, I must fulfil my duty" he wrapped his hands around her tightly.
"I promise, to come back alive." he pulled away from the hug as he walked away.
"no!" The lady fell on the ground as she clenched her heart in pain.
"mom don't cry.." Kento whispered as he tried hugging his mom, hid hand went through his mom.
"what?-" he gasped as the scene changed.
"mommy where is daddy? is he back from work yet?" A little boy run into his mom's arms happily.
"me? what's happening?" Kento said
"dad is taking too long! he said he'll train me" another boy appeared, quite older than Kento
"I want daddy to come back so I can tell him I used my magic to find my toy!" Little Kento jumped
"that's lame!! I can find mom!" The older boy replied.
"it's not lame meanie.. mommy said she's proud."
"I'm proud of you two..." The lady smiled as the door bell rung.
"it's daddy!!" Kento run towards the door happily. "daddy I missed you!-" he opened the door with a huge smile.
"is this the Yamada estate?" a guard appeared.
"yes" the lady replied with a frown.
"your husband, we aren't sure of where he is, he was last seen with some other locating styled magic.. " the guard started.
"so we don't know if he's dead?" The lady continued
"well.." another guard added. "he... disappeared"
"we don't we where he is, we were hoping for your son the oldest- can help locate him"
"no, you aren't allowed to take my 16 year old into war." she held him tightly.
"it doesn't matter, he's the man of the house, he's meant to fight in wars." the guard budged in.
"he's sixteen, he can barely use his location magic!" she protested.
"sixteen or not.. he's meant to serve his country. " the guard clicked his fingers as more guards came inside.
"then take me instead, my location magic would be useful than my son's, I won't allow this!-"
oh that's right, that day...
"women don't fight in war miss Yamada, men fight in war." the guard said
"he's a child." she replied quickly.
"sorry, but we have to do this." the guard sighed "take him"
the guards nodded as as they took the older brother away, the lady fell helplessly, as she held Kento in her arms tightly.
"Kento, promise your mother to never use your magic to fight your brother and father in any war" she whispered.
"what's war mommy?" little Kento dazed around curiously.
"I'll tell you later.. but, I don't want them to take you to... don't go to any war, please." she explained.
I remember after that day my mom fell into depression, depression so deep she hallucinated my brother and father at home again, she couldn't recognise her family as them, only as father and brother.
from that day on, I pledged to never participate in any war, I pledged to find my family without stepping into any battle field.
"I will find them!" a figure appeared in front of me, it looked like me, with spiky headphones and hard appearance.
"I'm so angry, we should've taken revenge, we should enter the battle and find our family!" it roared.
"but the war ended three years ago... they're probably dead" Kento spoke.
"accept me, it doesn't matter if it was years ago, once we combine, we can find them.. for mom" it sighed.
"mom doesn't want this, once I get stronger with my friends, we can locate my family, for now I'm useless..." Kento eyes grew blank.
the shadow flickered. "Accept me-" the voice shook "accept my power!"
"no!" the scene changed again "I will protect mother until I can find them! you're distracting!" Kento put his headphones on.
"I want you gone!"
