Gianna's steps were remarkably light as she walked through the ground-floor lobby of Noah's company. The cavernous space was still very much a work in progress; the sharp, chemical tang of fresh drywall and industrial adhesive hung thick in the air, punctuated by the distant echo of drilling.
She took a sharp right, detouring down a long corridor toward the west wing—the section Spider had noted as fully renovated and operational. This was where Noah's executive staff had set up their temporary command center.
And even though Spider's review had shown that Noah's entities were moving at an exponential speed, physically witnessing the sheer scale of the operation was still deeply surprising.
Noah had arrived in the city mere months ago, yet he was already actively handling large commercial contracts. And yet… he wanted to own a jewelry company too.
