As Xeno walked out of the condor camp, he heard the sound of footsteps behind him. The footsteps were very distinct. He would know them anywhere. It was Uri and Visha. He walked faster, even though he knew it would make no difference. The longer he could avoid the beating, the better.
Ready for an attack, he felt something moving towards him with great speed. He ducked, only to have a large rock whiz past his head as soon as he did. It embedded itself in a large plank nearby.
By the time Xeno got up, the two were already on him. Visha punched him on the shoulder, and he grunted. Uri grabbed his neck, his collar on display. He leaned forward and sank his fangs into Xeno's neck. Xeno groaned as he felt the piercing pain. He knew Uri had released a small amount of venom with the bite.
