CHAPTER 52
MASON
The car came to a halt as Logan stepped on the brake and turned off the engine. The place was as quiet and the broken windows were covered in vines and the eerie silence made my wolf restless but I knew I wasn't being foolish, it was obvious that had been here and I knew it was her. She had been here.
I pushed the car door open before Logan could stop me. My body still ached and and my head still ached from everything, but I didn't care. My body would have to keep up because I wasn't leaving without her or something that would lead me to her.
My pack warriors spread out and they scanned the surroundings. Logan came to stand beside me, and he looked tense. "Mason, don't rush in. We don't know if they're still here."
