The morning sun came slowly and gracefully. Elara and Kaelis had they're much needed rest.
It felt like thw entire outer wall knows that, it's going to be a peaceful day.
The maids roamed around seemlessly, carrying on with their tasks diligently.
And even though there was peace, the whispers was still happening relentlessly.

"The Queen was actually the one who framed the consort"
"Her title has been stripped, she's a commoner just like us now"
"Oh Gods I'll hate to be her"
"She's just lucky the king didn't kill her"
Elara frowns as their gossip was literally coming straight to her ear even though they were whispering and were miles away.
"Oh god" she groans as she covers her head under the pillow, but it did not soothe the noises.
"I think the reason why the Queen was pardoned was because of the royal Consort. After all, they were once friends"
She wanted to head straight to them with a heavy slapp because how they ruined her beauty sleep.
