King Charles invited them over for dinner even though Kaelis was not pleased with it. And Elara gladly accepts it as she plots all the ways she's going to make kaelis wish he hadn't messed with her feelings.
"How come I didn't know anything about a dinner, I would've gotten properly dressed?" Elara asks with Kaelis's hand still gripping her waist as she speaks to Charles.
His jaw was grinding hard that everyone could feel the tick and the atmosphere around him but Elara played the ignorant consort.
"Yeah well the dinner is not only is and I'm pretty sure Kaelis earned me not to invite you guys"
"And yet you still went beyond my wishes and still invited them" he bit out as he squeezed Elara's waist tightly.
"And you. I want you in your best behaviour" He whispered lowly so that Elara could only hear him.
She ignored him completely and walked on forward without so much as a glance his way.
