Chapter 184 - Rampaging Doctor

Another day passed. When the terrorists in charge of monitoring Tony and the others inspected their situation again, they were surprised to find that their main target was no longer within their sight.

Something like a screen blocked all the cameras, allowing these terrorists to only see <> working, but they couldn't see the most important person, Tony Stark, at all.

The terrorists immediately went into an uproar. The leader repeatedly reminded them to pay close attention to Tony, who was now out of sight, which immediately made these terrorists feel that something was wrong.

So these guys immediately took action. One person ran out to report the situation to their leader, while the rest, armed with guns, charged towards the cave.

The large iron door of the cave had been sealed from the inside. A simple bomb was placed against the door. The fuse was wrapped around the doorknob; as soon as someone forced the door open, a gas cylinder full of methane would immediately explode. This was Tony's last line of defense.

At this moment, Tony had already begun to put on the <> with <>'s assistance. The internal drive mechanism was modified from the internal structure of a missile, and the outer shell was directly assembled and welded from the missile's outer shell. Because they couldn't get more suitable internal protective materials, Tony could only choose to wear welding protective clothing inside to protect himself.

It made him look like an ugly, oversized toy. But you had to admit it. This was a very powerful oversized toy because its creator was Tony Stark, the best weapon developer in the world. The weapon he designed was destined to create a legend.

"Help me put on the chest armor. Don't tighten the screws all the way, just enough to be secure."

Tony ordered, while fastening the straps on his wrists. Those were his weapons systems, two modified welding tools.

"Also, once you're done with the screws, download the program. It's on the laptop over there. Just press the start button."

As soon as Peter reached for the computer, a shout came from the door. He nervously pressed the start button and watched the progress bar, asking,

"The progress bar has started. Damn it, they've found us! What should we do?"

"Don't worry, take your time." Tony comforted Peter. He knew he couldn't panic at this moment; he had to remain calm and composed. "Do as I say. Once the progress bar starts, don't worry about it. Come over here and help me fix the shoulder armor first."

Peter continued to follow his instructions, but at this moment, the terrorists had arrived outside the door and were knocking, demanding an answer.

"Say something, say something to them. Stall them!" Tony started to get nervous, as his life was on the line. However, he maintained his composure and thought of letting Peter use words to temporarily appease the terrorists.

But he found that <>'s expression had actually turned mournful.

"Damn it, I don't know what they're saying?"

"What, don't you know how to speak many languages?" Tony was also stunned. He didn't expect <> to drop the ball at this crucial moment.

"They're speaking the language of a small tribe, outsiders can't understand it at all!"

"Then just say something, as long as you can stall them. Speak quickly!"

<> hurriedly shouted in Arabic, but it didn't seem to be of much use. The people outside were shouting even more urgently. And just as <> was about to switch to another language to see if it would work. A violent explosion suddenly came from the direction of the gate.

That was the result of the terrorists, who couldn't wait any longer, forcibly breaking through the door. The weapons Tony made were very practical. In just an instant, a violent explosion was triggered. The raging fire consumed these guys' bodies, taking them into the abyss of death.

"How's the effect?" Hearing the explosion, Tony couldn't help but ask. He was now completely fixed to this suit of <>, and before <> was activated, he couldn't even move. So he could only use <> to understand what exactly was going on.

"It worked perfectly. They're all dead." Peter swallowed hard. He wasn't new to seeing death, but this was the first time people had died because of him. He thought he should be scared, but he wasn't. Instead, he felt a sense of satisfaction. The satisfaction of a great revenge.

Actually, there was something Peter hadn't told Tony. Before he was captured, he had witnessed his family die at the hands of these terrorists. So when he saw these terrorists swaggering around in front of him, his heart felt like it was on fire. It was the pain and torment of not being able to avenge them.

And that was also why he helped Tony without hesitation. Before, he didn't have the ability to kill, so he could only try to sabotage the terrorists' plans to find some kind of spiritual redemption. He helped Tony because he didn't want the terrorists to get what they wanted.

But now, he had other ideas.

"I knew my stuff wouldn't fail, Peter. Just wait a little longer, and we can get out of here," Tony nodded, boasting a bit. He was about to comfort his partner when he saw Peter silently walking away.

"Peter, what are you doing?" Tony immediately had a bad feeling.

At this moment, Peter had already reached the bodies, picking up the Stark-made weapons. Although the explosion had been violent, it hadn't damaged the firearms too much. Peter picked up two guns, one in each hand, and said to Tony,

"Buddy, I just checked. The progress bar is only halfway. The explosion will attract more of them, and there isn't enough time for you to activate this thing. So, I've decided to buy you some time."

"<>,don't do this. Do you hear me? You're insane. Just wait a little longer, we'll be done soon."

Tony shouted frantically, even though he knew <> was protected by the nano-suit. He had seen the weapons outside, and many of them were beyond what a thin layer of protection could withstand.

"Don't worry about me, I'm bulletproof now." <> laughed heroically. "I've always dreamed of being <>, and now I finally get to."

With that, he pulled the trigger, firing bullets wildly as he charged out of the cave.

Tony yelled desperately, but he couldn't stop <>, who was determined to go. He could only anxiously look at the laptop in the distance, hoping the progress bar would increase faster. At this moment, he realized how excruciatingly slow time was passing.

<> ran wildly, the two submachine guns in his hands like two large torches, with flames never ceasing. Fortunately, he was smart enough to pick up a few extra magazines, otherwise, he wouldn't have even seen the terrorists before the submachine guns ran out of ammo.

And it was precisely because of his fierce firepower that the group of terrorists who had rushed in were terrified. Don't think they were doing the job of terrorists, but there were really not many who were so fierce that they would risk their lives to fight <> to the death. So the moment they saw <>, a few of them didn't even bother to fire a symbolic shot, and immediately turned and ran.

They weren't stupid. <>'s appearance was clearly that of someone who didn't care about their life, just wanting to kill one to make up for the loss, and kill two to make a profit. Whoever went up at this time was clearly asking for trouble.

So, a very awkward scene unfolded. A doctor, utterly without the power to fight back, was wielding two guns, unable to even aim properly, and firing wildly. Yet, he was chasing after seven or eight elite-level terrorists all over the cave, and it looked like he might even drive them out.

Of course, that was just how it looked. These terrorists were, after all, the kind who could directly attack the US military, so they did have some basic tactical skills.

So, when Lin Fan, feeling incredibly exhilarated, roared as he charged out of the cave with his two guns, he found a group of people already half-squatting at the entrance, their guns aimed at him. They didn't even need any orders; the instant Lin Fan rushed out, they opened fire like madmen.

Bullets rained down on Lin Fan like a storm, making him tremble all over like a banana leaf in the wind. At that moment, he really thought he was going to die. But after waiting for a long time, he realized that he felt nothing at all.

Fine, dense electrical ions protected his body. That was the appearance of the barrier displayed on Lin Fan's body. And under the protection of this barrier, Lin Fan wasn't even injured, nor did he feel anything at all.

At that moment, he finally understood the feeling of Lin Fan dominating the battlefield. That feeling of letting them shoot to their heart's content could only be described with the word "awesome."

And watching those terrorists who were already stunned, not even realizing their magazines were empty, Lin Fan revealed a gloating, savage grin. The chance for revenge had arrived.

He lowered the sound of his guns, and the flaming gun barrels made the bullets like a chain being swung out, piercing through the terrorists' bodies. Blood rained down, and in an instant, there were more than a dozen corpses on the ground. And for Lin Fan, this was only the beginning of his revenge. He wanted to do more, and only by continuing to charge forward could he be worthy of his loved ones in heaven.

Thinking about this, he picked up two more guns and charged towards the densest group of people.

A person who doesn't care about their life might cause a temporary commotion, but they won't cause much of an impact on this group of terrorists. However, someone who doesn't care about their life, is invulnerable to blades and bullets, and can't be killed, causes not just a commotion, but a real, major chaos.

He began shooting at anyone he saw, and if he saw a pile of weapons and ammunition, he'd keep firing until they exploded. Relying on his invulnerability, he was even more ruthless than the terrorists themselves at this moment. It didn't take long before he had taken down one-third of the entire terrorist base. No one could have predicted this.

The bald leader hadn't expected this either. When he saw <>'s unstoppable rampage, he realized that Tony Stark had tricked him again. He glared at the sweaty, bearded man and gritted his teeth as he gave the order.

"Capture <> and kill him! Quickly!"

At this point, he no longer cared about the nano-suit. A whole valley of weapons and ammunition was right there, and it was his entire fortune. A protective suit was far less important to him than this base, so the choice was clear.

<> was still frantically destroying everything he saw. He didn't realize that at a pass in the distance, a heavy machine gun, designed to counter American aircraft, had lowered its barrel and was aiming at him.
