Orochimaru walked through the Root's base, and the Root Ninja greeted her respectfully.
Is there something Lord Danzo wants from me?
It couldn't be about Hikari, could it?
Orochimaru thought of Danzo Shimura's arm full of Sharingan in the original story and decided she was overthinking it.
The current Danzo Shimura was not the Danzo Shimura from the original story; he was no longer so obsessed with the Uchiha Clan.
"Orochimaru, you're here."
Danzo Shimura looked at Orochimaru as she walked in, pointing to four scrolls placed nearby and saying, "Take a look at the intelligence collected by Root's intelligence Ninja."
"Even intelligence from Hidden Mist?"
Orochimaru said in surprise. Hidden Mist's intelligence was the hardest to gather because of their secrecy laws, making it very difficult for intelligence Ninja to infiltrate. Therefore, collecting Hidden Mist's intelligence required a great deal of effort.
"Cough!"
Danzo Shimura coughed lightly, explaining, "That's not Hidden Mist's intelligence."
He also wanted to plant intelligence Ninja in Hidden Mist, but it was too difficult to infiltrate.
Furthermore, Hidden Mist and Konoha were separated by the sea, so he wasn't worried about any actions from Hidden Mist. Arranging intelligence Ninja to collect Hidden Mist's intelligence would be a waste of manpower.

Orochimaru quickly finished the last scroll, placed it on the desk, and said, "Whether it's Sunagakure, Iwagakure, or Kumogakure, they are all stockpiling various supplies, including food and strategic materials... It seems they are preparing for war."
"According to the intelligence collected, Sunagakure plans to purchase a large amount of food from the Land of Rain. We must not let Sunagakure get those supplies."
Since he knew that the Various Ninja Villages were preparing for war, Danzo Shimura would never let them succeed.
"Lord Danzo, are you trying to destroy the food Sunagakure purchased, preventing them from preparing before initiating war?"
Orochimaru understood what Danzo Shimura wanted to do: interfere with the three great Various Ninja Villages' stockpiling preparations to give Konoha a material advantage before the war officially began.
"If we send our people to burn the food that the Land of Rain is selling to Sunagakure, Hanzou will not let it go. White Snake Pharmaceutical Technology Company still has industries in the Land of Rain, and once White Snake Pharmaceutical Technology Company gets involved..."
Orochimaru didn't continue, believing that Danzo Shimura understood the implications. Interfering with the Land of Rain's food supply would be very troublesome.
"Moreover, White Snake Pharmaceutical Technology Company has cooperative relationships with all Various Ninja Villages. If we want to interfere with their supplies, we would have to make White Snake Pharmaceutical Technology Company stop doing business with them."
Making White Snake Pharmaceutical Technology Company stop doing business with the three great Various Ninja Villages? That was a joke!
As long as White Snake Pharmaceutical Technology Company had business dealings with the three great Various Ninja Villages, restricting their supplies was unrealistic.
"It seems that interfering with supplies is a bit difficult..."
Danzo Shimura had previously thought his plan was quite good, capable of giving Konoha an advantage before the war began. He had only failed to consider that White Snake Pharmaceutical Technology Company was a multinational company with commercial dealings with all Various Ninja Villages.
He couldn't possibly make a move against White Snake Pharmaceutical Technology Company, could he?

"Orochimaru, what do you think about disguising ourselves as Ninja from other Various Ninja Villages to destroy White Snake Pharmaceutical Technology Company's goods being transported to the three great Various Ninja Villages, stirring up relations between the Various Ninja Villages, and seeing if we can get the three great Various Ninja Villages to fight each other?"
Danzo Shimura thought of another plan. If successful, Konoha could sit back and watch the tigers fight, reaping the benefits.
"Lord Danzo, you need to consider that once the Various Ninja Villages realize that it was our Konoha people causing the destruction, they might once again unite to attack Konoha. At that point, Konoha's situation would be dangerous."
Orochimaru admitted that Danzo Shimura's idea was good, but once the Various Ninja Villages realized it was Konoha's doing, they would not let it go. The Various Ninja Villages, who were originally fighting individually, would once again unite.
