Chapter 464 - Farewell of the Monkey King, Journey to the Dreaming Void

The Genesis Archive had grown so vast that even hyperverses looked small inside it.

Endless Phantom Bubbles floated across reality.

Stories lived.

Stories evolved.

Stories rewrote themselves.

At the center of this infinite structure stood Kael Veyris.

Beside him sat his long-time companion:

Sun Wukong.

For once, the Monkey King was quiet.Wukong looked across the endless narrative ocean.

He had fought gods.

Broken heavens.

Outrun death itself.

But now…

The adventures were different.

Kael was growing into something beyond stories themselves.

Wukong scratched the back of his head.

Heh… looks like you don't really need a troublemaker like me anymore.

Kael looked at him.

You've helped more than you think.

Wukong smiled.

Yeah, yeah. Don't get sentimental, Architect.

He jumped onto a floating narrative star and leaned on his staff.

Then he spoke again, softer this time.

I'm gonna go explore somewhere even crazier.

Places even your stories haven't reached yet.

Kael nodded.

Then go.

Wukong turned and began walking across the sky of stories.

Just before disappearing, he waved his hand.

Goodbye, my friend.

And just like that…

The Monkey King vanished into the infinite mythological layers beyond the Archive. After Wukong left, silence filled the Archive.

Kael looked upward.

Beyond stories.

Beyond authors.

Beyond observers.

There was still one place he had never truly explored.

The origin of the Primordial Dream that his power resembled.

The realm connected to Azathoth.

A place older than narratives themselves.

A place known as the Dreaming Chaos.

Kael decided to visit it.Kael stepped outside every narrative layer.

He passed through:

1.the story realms

2. the author frameworks

3. the observer dimensions

Until even the idea of fiction faded behind him.

Reality became strange.

Concepts began collapsing.

Time stopped behaving normally.

He had reached the outer region of existence.

Ahead of him was a vast darkness filled with swirling cosmic music.

This was the Dreaming Void.Inside the void sat something incomprehensibly massive.

A sleeping cosmic presence.

Reality itself seemed to pulse with its breathing.

Entire universes appeared and vanished with each dreamlike movement.

This was the realm associated with Azathoth.

But Kael did not feel fear.

Instead…

He felt familiarity.

Because the Dream Engine inside him resonated with the same primordial force.

Kael stepped closer.Something strange happened.

The chaotic dream around Azathoth reacted to Kael.

Instead of dissolving him…

The dream began stabilizing around him.

Galaxies formed.

Concepts organized themselves.

Reality started behaving more clearly near Kael's presence.

It was as if the sleeping cosmic force recognized something similar within him.

Kael spoke quietly.

So this is where imagination began.

The dream responded.

Not with words.

But with a wave of primordial creation energy.Kael did not attack.

Azathoth did not awaken.

Instead, something much stranger happened.

The two forces simply coexisted.

One was the dreaming source of chaotic existence.

The other was the evolving Architect of structured narratives.

Chaos and story.

Dream and design.

For a brief moment…

The two cosmic principles balanced each other.Kael eventually turned away from the sleeping cosmic entity.

He had learned something important.

His power was not meant to replace the primordial dream.

It was meant to guide what came after it.

Dreams created possibility.

Stories gave those possibilities form.

As Kael began walking back toward the infinite layers of fiction…

He realized his journey had entered a completely new stage.

The Architect of Existence had now visited the source of cosmic dreams.

And somewhere far across the infinite mythological layers…

The Monkey King was still laughing and exploring new worlds.

But Kael knew something now.

The universe of stories was still only the beginning.
