After leaving the quiet world of reassigned existence, Kael Veyris and Sun Wukong continued their journey.
Farther.
Higher.
Deeper.
Until eventually
even concepts stopped following them. There came a point where:
time no longer flowed
dimensions no longer separated space
distance no longer existed
narratives stopped organizing reality
There was no where.
No when.
Only endless stillness.
Wukong looked around carefully.
For once
he wasn't smiling.
Alright.
This place is weird even for me."
Kael stood calmly beside him.
This is a null-layer beyond dimensional assignment."
Wukong blinked.
You really can't talk normally, huh?"
Then
something watched them.The stillness shifted.
Not violently.
Not suddenly.
But like existence itself had opened one eye.
And she appeared.
Yog-Sothoth
Her presence alone distorted understanding.
She possessed extremely long flowing black-violet hair resembling liquid space itself
within it drifted:
stars
galaxies
glowing eyes
fragments of forgotten realities
She wore an elegant black-and-purple dress formed from:
void matter
celestial energy
shattered narrative fragments
Chains of glowing divine crystals wrapped around her body like living laws binding existence itself.
Behind her head floated massive rotating rings of cosmic symbols, resembling divine mechanisms controlling reality.
Countless floating orbs surrounded her.
Each orb represented:
worlds
timelines
forgotten stories
conceptual realms
Behind her stretched enormous shadow-like wings and tendrils woven from:
darkness
stars
abstract space
unfinished creation
Simply looking at her for too long overwhelmed weaker beings.
Not from malice.
But from scale.
Wukong slowly lowered his staff.
Okay.
That's new. Her voice echoed softly from every direction at once.
Kael Veyris.
Kael looked at her calmly.
Yog-Sothoth.
Wukong looked between them.
You KNOW her?
Kael answered:
Yes.
Yog-Sothoth's countless orbiting eyes observed him quietly.
You continue wandering beyond all assigned structure.
Kael replied:
Correct. Wukong tilted his head.
Wait.
You two aren't enemies?
A pause.
Then Yog-Sothoth answered softly:
No.
Kael added calmly:
We are acquaintances.
Wukong blinked.
That is somehow scarier. The place around them remained silent.
No time passed.
No dimensions shifted.
And yet
conversation continued naturally.
Yog-Sothoth observed Kael carefully.
You have changed.
Kael answered:
So have you.
The floating cosmic rings behind her head rotated slowly.
Most beings seek power.
You seek movement.
Kael nodded once.
Power became stagnant long ago.
Wukong folded his arms.
This is the weirdest friendship I've ever seen. Her countless eyes turned toward Wukong.
Reality around him bent slightly under observation.
You are unusual.
Wukong grinned carefully.
I get that a lot.
To his surprise
one of the floating orbs near Yog-Sothoth shimmered softly.
Almost like amusement.Without needing direction
Kael and Yog-Sothoth began walking through the impossible stillness.
Wukong followed behind them.
Still trying to process everything.
As they moved:
unborn universes drifted nearby
forgotten stories floated like dust
dead timelines flickered briefly then vanished
Yet around Kael and Yog-Sothoth
everything remained calm.Yog-Sothoth finally asked quietly:
Are you still searching for something?
Kael answered after a brief silence.
Perhaps.
A challenge?
Kael shook his head slightly.
Something meaningful.
Yog-Sothoth's wings shifted slowly.
That is harder to find.
Kael nodded.
I know.
The endless void beyond time remained still.
Three impossible beings walked together through a place reality itself could not enter:
Kael Veyris
Sun Wukong
Yog-Sothoth
Not fighting.
Not conquering.
Not rewriting existence.
Just walking.
Talking.
Existing.
And somewhere beyond all structure
even the void itself seemed curious about what would happen next.
