After Aelin promised she would teach Skiv how to make poison, the boy was no longer upset. Instead, his eyes lit up with excitement, as if he had already forgotten all about his earlier frustration.
"We can start the class tomorrow after lunch," Aelin said with a gentle smile.
"Class?" Skiv tilted his head, clearly confused, not quite understanding what she meant.
Roxanna answered instead of her, "Class is when someone teaches you something step by step, so you can learn it properly."
She smiled softly and added, "In this case, Aelin will teach you how to make poison."
Skiv's eyes widened with curiosity. "So… it's like training?"
"Mm, you can think of it that way," Roxanna replied patiently. "But a class is usually calmer. You listen, learn, and practice little by little."
Aelin nodded in agreement. "Don't worry, I'll make it easy for you to understand."
Skiv's tail twitched behind him as excitement quickly filled his face again. "Then I'll do my best!"
