Although her husbands wanted to make sure Luan would not hurt Roxanna, it was so hard to do that.
The beastman cat had gone completely wild. He kept trying to bite any hand that got close to him. Calen's hands alone got bitten more than ten times before he finally managed to stuff something in Luan's mouth and wrap a cloth tightly around his face so he couldn't bite anymore.
"You bad cat!" Calen pushed Luan's shoulders down when he tried to get up. "We're only doing this to help you! So be good!"
Roxanna watched them struggle to hold Luan down and couldn't help thinking he looked just like one of her old cats, the ones that always went crazy every time she took them to the vet.
The veterinarian even sometimes had to sedate the cat so they could examine him easily.
"It would be so much easier if he was actually a real cat," Roxanna sighed and shook her head a few times.
"I think he's ready for a warm hug now," Calen said to her.
