Chapter 213 - Chapter 209 Reality: Thor, the Dark World

Earth.

Britain, London.

Because of Rimuru, the little butterfly, Asgard's Bifrost Bridge remained intact, and Thor and Jane Foster were not separated for one or two years.

Thor would secretly come to Earth to date Jane Foster whenever he had the chance.

But Odin, perhaps feeling his end was near, seemed to want to cram everything he hadn't taught Thor in half his life into him in a short period.

Especially after the Battle of New York on Earth, Odin's demands on Thor became even more stringent.

This made it geometrically harder for Thor and Jane Foster to meet, almost like they were sneaking around.

It was as if Jane Foster wasn't his girlfriend, but Loki, or Sif!

What you can't get is always on the move!

It was this 'unobtainable' bitter love that made their feelings even stronger, like aged wine, growing more fragrant with time.

Jane Foster was also a very opinionated woman; she was already particularly interested in astronomy and Einstein-Rosen bridges.

Now, with Thor, Jane Foster became even more fascinated by it.

For this reason, she specifically came to London, Britain.

As if by destiny, shortly after she arrived in London, she unexpectedly discovered an incredibly bizarre phenomenon.

In a dilapidated, abandoned house in London, things like cars would even float.

On the second floor, if a small object like a soda can was dropped, it would mysteriously disappear and then fall from the sky a few seconds later.

This repeated over and over!

Everything about this defied imagination!

Following the magnetic field anomalies on her instrument, Jane Foster walked into an uninhabited alley of the house.

Then, she was sucked into an extremely dark space by the alley.

There, she saw something like a sarcophagus, emitting a blood-red light from within.

What made it even more incredible was that the blood-red liquid suddenly entered her body.

But when she looked closely, she didn't find any anomalies.

Then, Jane Foster inexplicably fainted, and when she woke up again, she was back in London.

Next, a series of incredible things happened to her!

The Police who tried to act against her were directly repelled by a strange force; heavy rain fell, but not a single drop touched her.

And everything that followed was even more mysterious!

Jane Foster was taken by Thor to the Asgard she had longed for, and this relationship finally reached the 'meeting the parents' stage.

But this trip to meet her future in-laws was far from as wonderful as Jane Foster had imagined.

Her future mother-in-law was fine; she treated her kindly, but her future father-in-law, Father of the Gods Odin, always had a sour face.

Especially the phrase, 'Not everything can be brought to the main table,' which almost made Jane Foster so angry she wanted to slam the door and leave.

However, everything changed next!

Through Odin's words, she learned the source of all the anomalies on her body: the Aether.

The Aether had attached itself to her, constantly devouring her life force, and even Odin, King of the Gods, found it difficult to handle.

But what came next almost made Jane Foster collapse!

The Dark Elves launched a massive attack, and war, a true divine war, erupted before her eyes!

To protect her, even Thor's mother lost her life.

The entire Asgard was plunged into a sea of sorrow!

Jane personally attended Queen Frigga's funeral, and even Jane could clearly feel that Odin, who had lost his wife, was already somewhat irrational.

He wanted to fight the Dark Elves to the death in Asgard!

Everything was terrible; Jane Foster even began to wonder if she was a jinx.

The entire Asgard was preparing for war, and the atmosphere of conflict grew thicker by the day.

Jane could clearly feel Thor's anxiety!

But just as Thor was about to persuade Odin, Odin suddenly became enraged, then rode the Bifrost Bridge to Niflheim, the realm of the dead.

Only then did Thor realize that he also had an older sister named Hela, whom his father had personally sealed in Niflheim.

Looking at the anxious, silent Thor, Jane Foster's heart ached!

Having been in love with Thor for so long, she understood all of Thor's various aspects too well.

He had lived his entire life under the protection of his father's wings, and apart from being exiled to Earth not long ago, he had almost never experienced setbacks.

But in these few short days, he had endured too much pain!

His father was bent on revenge, planning a decisive battle with the Dark Elves, but at the most crucial moment, he was going to put aside all hatred.

The purpose was to suppress his daughter, who was attempting to break through the seal!

Internal strife, how tragic, especially when the divine realm was in turmoil!

Unfortunately, she could do nothing.

Jane's greatest hope was that through her, she could help Thor alleviate his pain.

But what Jane never expected was that the calamity was only just beginning!

Vanaheim, the realm where Thor's mother was born, sent envoys requesting aid.

Troll King Yurick had attacked their realm, and it was now in peril!

Without Odin in command, and the Queen having passed away, if Thor were to leave again, Asgard would be utterly empty.

It might even fall directly!

Moreover, she was now the living Aether; as long as she was in Asgard for one day, Asgard would inevitably be Svartalfheim's target.

"Thor, if you're going to rescue Vanaheim, I'll go with you!"

Jane Foster bravely spoke her mind.

Thor refused, but Jane could still feel his happiness!

Ultimately, Jane won!

Bifrost Bridge.

Jane Foster, who had studied the Einstein-Rosen bridge for several years, finally saw this legendary divine bridge; it was even more magnificent and splendid than she had imagined!

Heimdall, the divine general guarding the Bifrost Bridge, was somewhat different from Jane's imagination, but his eyes were even sharper and more profound than she had imagined.

Jane could feel that compared to when she arrived, Heimdall's eyes now held more approval and friendliness when he looked at her!

Just before the Bifrost Bridge was about to open, Loki arrived.

Seeing that face, Jane's anger immediately flared.

It was he who had orchestrated the Battle of New York, almost killing millions of people!

Jane's temper flared, and she reached out to slap Loki, but Thor stopped her.

Thor told her that once the crisis was resolved, he would explain all the causes and effects to her from the beginning.

Jane was moved by Thor's sincerity, suppressed her anger, and temporarily gave up on seeking justice from Loki!

Loki's reason for coming surprised Jane.

He actually wanted to go to Vanaheim with Thor to help, and Thor patted Loki's shoulder, feeling very relieved.

But Thor still refused!

With both his father and him gone, only Loki could hold the fort in Asgard.

In the end, Loki was persuaded and agreed to stay and guard Asgard.

Loki genuinely said, "Brother, you must return safely; you will be a qualified King!"

"Brother, you've changed, you're more sensible!" Thor laughed heartily.

The two brothers embraced emotionally.

This made Jane very happy; she could feel that Thor was truly happy, laughing with immense joy.

But...

Stab!

A blood-stained longsword pierced directly through Thor's abdomen.

Jane was utterly stunned.

Thor looked at the bloodied sword protruding from his abdomen, also with a look of disbelief.

"Why? This isn't you, Loki, this isn't you, right?!"

Loki smiled sinisterly, "Brother, you're still so foolish. You're right, this is indeed not me."

Loki transformed back to his original form, that pale, bloodless face, which Jane Foster was not unfamiliar with.

Who else could it be but Malekith, King of the Dark Elves?

Jane Foster could hardly believe that the King of the Dark Elves would resort to such a despicable scheme.

"Go!"

At the most crucial moment, Heimdall saved them.

The Bifrost Bridge opened!

But before they parted, they saw Heimdall pierced through the heart by Malekith's sword!
