(Third Person POV)
The System Screen appeared in front of Mikael, which was not something he wanted to see at the moment.
[Task Unlocked: Defeat Three Members of The Roger Pirates]
- Rewards: Enhanced Durability, Higher Firepower In Dragon Form, and Ostracon Oblivion (Greatsword)
"You got to be shitting me. A Task like this?" Mikael thought to himself, "Defeat Three Members of this crew and I get all of that? But look at me, I'm a mess already! The top three fucked me up quite good!!!"
Roger laughed, "Wahahaha!" He looked at Mikael, "All beat up and you think you can handle us still? You're making me laugh!!"
Rayleigh rushed at Mikael, "I said go handle Rocks, Roger!!"
He swung his sword at Mikael, who jumped up to dodge the swing. Mikael flipped forwards and landed on the ground, immediately running towards the other members of the Roger Pirates.
Rayleigh frowned at this, "What is he....?" He said before seeing a large shadow cast over him, "Huh?"
"I think that is enough." Newgate said as he swung his naginata down at Rayleigh
Rayleigh raised his blade to block the blow, a massive shockwave erupting from their clash. There were slight sparks of haki crackling everywhere as Rayleigh was grimacing. He could feel the weight of Newgate's swing, nearly causing him to sink into the sand.
Roger smirked, "Oh, this one is already coming into the fray." He said as he smirked, "Newgate! You want to fight?!"
Rayleigh pushed the naginata off him and jumped back, "This is about to get rough." He said, "Newgate, you are stepping in?"
Newgate pulled his naginata back and reared his fist back, a bubble appearing on his fist as he smirked slightly.
"Heh." Newgate said as he swung his fist
"Take cover!" Rayleigh shouted
Newgate punched the air, shattering it completely and causing a powerful shockwave to erupt, hitting Rayleigh and Roger. The shockwave ripped the ground apart, sending sand flying everywhere. The shockwave hit the other members of the Roger Pirates, causing them to stumble as Mikael had reached them already.
Rocks was watching as Mikael had attacked the other members, punching Millet Pine in the face and sending him flying.
"Hm...." Xebec said, "Why change targets?"
He then saw that Rayleigh and Roger were seemingly unharmed by Newgate's attack, merely having their swords raised.
"This is getting chaotic, isn't it?" Newgate said as he looked to the side, seeing Shiki and Gaban clashing fiercely, "What in the hell are you doing, Roger?"
Roger smirked, "I just wanted to have a nice brawl!" He said, "You lot can't provide that?"
"Oh, we can." Newgate said, "That, and more."
Roger lunged at Newgate and swung his sword, "Then bring it!"
Newgate clashed with Roger, causing more sparks of haki to crackle in the air. The impact caused another shockwave to erupt, shaking the ground. Newgate then pushed him down and parried a blow from Rayleigh, who had rushed him as well. He then swung his naginata at him hard, causing Rayleigh to block it. The impact reeled Rayleigh back, as if he was being dragged on the sand.
"Shit." Rayleigh said as he jumped away, but was seemingly unfazed, "This is going to be tough."
Over to Mikael, he was clashing with the other Roger Pirates, taking blow after blow and countering with his own fists. He had punched Millet Pine prior, and was kicked by Spencer after he had sent that one flying.
Mikael reeled back, panting heavily as he had sweat and blood on his face, "Shit..." He said as he dodged an attack by Max Marx, who had rushed him, "This is getting ridiculous...."
"This fucking guy thinks he can take us?!" Taro said as he rushed Mikael, "He got beat up by Roger and the others, he doesn't have much in him!!"
Mikael scowled as he blocked a blow with his forearm, "Is that so?" He said, "That is what you think?"
Taro narrowed his eyes, "How are you still standing?!" He exclaimed, "Is this your Devil Fruit ability?"
"I don't know, maybe." Mikael said as he pushed him off and stepped forwards, "Why don't you find out?!"
Mikael hit Taro in the face with a vicious right, coated in armament haki. The impact was so hard that a powerful shockwave erupted, sending the pirate flying back.
"Taro!" Spencer exclaimed as everyone saw him hit the ground
Mikael was scowling, clearly annoyed at the entire situation. He didn't think that the top three members of the Roger Pirates would deal with his dragon form so easily, but it was something he had to learn sooner or later. Rocks was able to casually defeat him with a couple of serious hits, meaning that someone like Roger would be able to do the same.
Now, if he were to complete the System's task, he would gain more durability and obtain more firepower in his Dragon Form. Not just that, but a weapon. Mikael remembers that the Greatsword of the Gogmazios was a massive sword that he could make use of in this world.
However, all he needs to do is defeat three members of the Roger Pirates. It could be any member, which means he would target the others.
Millet Pine rushed at Mikael, "Let me at 'im!!"
He reached Mikael, swinging his spiked mace at him. Mikael blocked the attack with his forearm, coated in haki. The impact rattled his body but he immediately activated his Superheat as MIllet Pine had clashed with him.
"What are you...." Pine said as he frowned
"Superheat"
Mikael pushed the mace off and then followed up with a vicious uppercut to Pine's stomach, shattering through his armor as he dug his fist into his stomach. The Pirate widened his eyes in pure pain as an explosion of heat erupted from the impact, sending him a couple of feet upwards.
Mikael then followed up with a devastating left hook that connected to Pine's face, planting him hard into the ground. The blow was imbued with his Superheat and armament haki, creating a powerful combustion of heat.
Pine's body hit the sand hard, a shockwave erupting as the ground shattered, sand flying everywhere.
"Shit!!" Spencer shouted, "Pine is down!! Who the hell is this guy?!"
Mikael's body was cooling down as he panted, "That's the last of my Superheat...." He said, "Dammit...."
Xebec was still watching, "Hehe...." He said, "So, that's how it is, Mikael?"
"You're improving in the heat of battle."
