1:43 AM.
The lights at the Daily Planet still shone as bright as day.
The sounds of typing keyboards, the whirring and spitting of printers, and the sporadic ringing of telephones intertwined, making the eyes of the reporters pulling an all-nighter red-rimmed.
The air was thick with the smell of coffee and tension.
"Alright, alright, we'll go home after finishing this report." Lois Lane sat at her desk, her computer screen blinking with an unfinished article.
"Just bear with it for a bit longer, I'll be done soon, half an hour at most, no, about forty minutes." Lois typed rapidly while softly comforting the restless kitten in her arms.
"Ding-dong—"
Just then.
The elevator doors slowly parted.
A tall figure stepped out of the elevator.
Her skin was so pale it was almost transparent.
It shimmered with a cool-toned luster under the office lights.
The woman was Diana, 'Wonder Woman', who was supposed to be with 'Superman' in the suburbs dealing with the clones. Yet, she seemed to have a doppelgänger, appearing in two different places at the same time.
Compared to the Wonder Woman in the suburbs, this one at the newspaper office was clearly not fully armored. She wore a sharply tailored women's suit and looked exceptionally elegant.
Her long hair was draped over her shoulders, and her eyes were deep.
Her steps were steady and firm, as if she were already familiar with the environment here.
"Lois." The pale-skinned Diana bypassed a group of reporters vehemently discussing a news scoop and walked toward Lois Lane's workstation, greeting her softly.
Several editors hurried past her.
None of them noticed the goddess's unusually slow blinking frequency.
"Meow—"
Only the kitten in Lois's arms bristled continuously at the sight of the goddess. After jumping onto the desk, its frantically twitching tail swept across the keyboard, typing a string of garbled code onto Lois's computer.
"Kittens don't know how to edit a good news story." Lois quickly scooped the kitten back into her arms and looked up at Wonder Woman who had appeared at the office.
"Diana? Why are you in Metropolis?" She checked the time displayed on her computer screen, slightly confused, as other Super Heroes didn't usually visit late at night.
"Clark sent me to pick you up."
Diana spoke with a gentle smile.
Her tone carried a convincing warmth.
"Ah?"
Lois was stunned for a moment, then seemed to understand, letting out a heavy sigh. She single-handedly held the bristling cat in her arms. "Is it an alien invasion again?"
"Or have the mad scientists come up with a new trick?" As she spoke, Lois skillfully saved her document and grabbed her jacket.
She seemed to have grown accustomed to this life.
"A group of Superman clones lost control."
Diana shrugged.
Her tone conveyed a suitable level of worry.
Her emotional expression was spot-on.
"A group of clones? Well... I knew my father never tells the whole truth." Lois mused as she followed Diana toward the elevator.
"Will my colleagues be in danger?"
Lois had a good amount of trust in the Justice League, especially since the League's atmosphere had improved over the years, she and Wonder Woman, Diana, actually had a decent personal relationship.
"The clones target is you, so we just need to hide you." Diana led Lois into the elevator. She frowned at the kitten in Lois's arms, which was constantly growling at her.
"Can we leave it here?"
Clearly.
The kitten's snarling annoyed this Diana greatly.
"We have a pet thief at the newspaper, and I don't want my pet stolen." Lois was still comforting the kitten in her arms, subtly refusing Diana's request.
Diana did not press the issue.
She just nodded.
After pressing the floor button, her gaze remained fixed on Lois—or, more accurately, fixed on Lois's neck. This Wonder Woman seemed to be restraining some impulse, frequently swallowing.
The elevator descended all the way.
Meanwhile.
Upstairs at the newspaper office.
A dazzling red light suddenly flashed outside the window.
Accompanied by the crackling sound of air tearing, a strong wind swept in. A large pile of papers on the office desks was lifted and scattered into the air. A figure crashed into the newspaper office lobby like a meteor.
"What's going on?"
A group of reporters turned their heads in alarm.
They saw.
A man in leather clothes, reeking of burnt leather, covered in electric arcs, and his mouth constantly trembling, was now "standing" in the center of the newsroom.
"The Flash?"
Someone recognized the familiar uniform and the constantly trembling head, letting out a gasp. "Is this performance art, or are your legs injured?"
Many reporters felt their eyes needed to be washed in the restroom. They couldn't help it, the Flash who appeared before them looked so "contorted" and bizarre.
It involuntarily caused a drop in their sanity.
"This is called not turning off the engine after parking. You definitely don't have a driver's license." Ian braced his hands on the ground, his legs split into a wide V-shape. His feet, strapped with external Speed Force equipment, were still rotating in the air on both sides—like performing some strange gymnastic moves, or perhaps two malfunctioning helicopter propellers.
The Speed Force was flickering madly, accompanied by genuine electric arcs around Ian. If one ignored Ian's "edging" behavior, he certainly had some of the special effects a Flash should have.
"Even though you have super electronic music right now, don't you think your manner of speaking… resembles that new version of Superman who scared all the passengers into numbness while saving a plane?"
There were, of course, sharp-eyed people among the reporters.
"Don't ask such stupid questions. If you were smart enough, you'd know I'm the real Flash—now, tell me, has anyone been here just now?"
Ian didn't have time to haggle with the reporters. He glanced around but didn't find his mother, so he directly questioned the reporter who walked up to him.
"Yes, someone was here. I think it was Diana Prince? She seems to be friends with Lois. They just got into the elevator. I interviewed Ms. Prince at her working museum three years ago."
"Those long legs really left an impression…" The reporter, who had intended to answer the question and then seize the opportunity to interview Ian, saw Ian lower his uncontrollably moving legs before he could finish speaking.
The red lightning reappeared.
Heading straight for the window.
As if he had jumped off the building from a standstill.
"But this is the eighteenth floor."
The gusting wind blew the reporters' hair around. They ignored the spinning office chairs and the fluttering print papers, all gathering at the window to look down.
However.
They couldn't see anything.
The speed of ordinary people was indeed too slow compared to a Speedster.
"Damn it! It must be a fake Wonder Woman!"
Before the reporters could react, Ian had already blocked the main entrance of the elevator on the first floor. He spun frantically in place for several hundred circles, finally using his handbrake to stop in front of the elevator.
Bracing his hands on the ground.
He was hesitating whether to remove his external "exoskeleton" calves before the fight—even without sharing a brain, just relying on Super Intellect, Ian had mostly realized the problem.
Wonder Woman had clearly gone with his father to deal with the clones, so how could she suddenly appear at the news office and take Lois away? Reverse-Flash's mention of losing family didn't necessarily mean losing his father!
It could also mean losing his mother!
This would not only cause the Son of Superman to be corrupted, but could even cause Superman himself to be corrupted—killing two birds with one stone. It would also become the catalyst for the fall of the Justice League and even the ruin of the entire world!
A Superman stripped of justice!
That would mean the Earth loses everything!
"Parallel universe invasion? Or does Wonder Woman also have her own clone? Or maybe some shapeshifter is causing trouble!" Ian couldn't sort out the information yet.
He only knew he had to save his mother.
Not just for his father.
But also for their small family.
"Ding-dong—"
Ian was ready for a fight.
However.
As the elevator doors slowly opened.
It was empty inside.
He failed to intercept the Diana who took Lois away.
"Damn the Speedster Law! Always one step too slow!" Ian cursed, his gaze frantically sweeping the streets. He began searching madly in the night—fortunately, he wasn't a true Speedster, the trope where the fastest person always fails to make it in time to save someone didn't happen to this legitimate Flash.
"Over there!"
Ian dashed out again.
Meanwhile.
In a dark alley.
The tall buildings on both sides shielded the moonlight.
Only the faint light of distant streetlamps cast dappled shadows. The air was filled with the smell of dampness and decaying garbage. The wind blew through the alley entrance, stirring up a few tattered newspapers.
They floated gently onto the ground.
"Alright, this is the place."
Diana, walking ahead, suddenly stopped.
"Are you going to deal with me here?"
Lois's voice came from behind, her tone calm but with a hint of challenge.
"Hmm?"
Slightly surprised, Diana slowly turned around. The faint streetlights shone on her pale face, giving her a sinister look. The enthusiasm and warmth in her eyes were gone.
"How did you find out?"
Diana's tone had become cold now.
"Clark would never send someone else to pick me up, he always comes to save me himself." Lois's voice was firm yet gentle, perhaps the romance of a middle-aged couple was nothing more than this.
The pale-skinned Diana seemed to have been force-fed dog food.
She frowned tightly.
"I see. But since you knew there was a problem, why did you still come out with me?" She didn't seem to be in a hurry, observing Lois, the ordinary person, with curiosity.
"I couldn't let you kill my colleagues and my boss—I've accumulated a lot of bonus this month." Lois also responded seriously.
She really didn't want to see this suspicious Diana kill innocent people.
"Very self-sacrificing. Truly worthy of being Superman's eternal wife."
Hearing Lois's words, Diana couldn't help but chuckle. She looked at the female reporter before her, a flicker of appreciation in her eyes, but it was quickly replaced by coldness.
"Unfortunately, I have to tell you that you won't have the chance to spend your bonus in the future." Diana's mouth opened wide, revealing sharp fangs.
Her eyes gleamed with a chilling light in the darkness.
"We need you to die here… Don't worry, I will make good use of your blood." Diana looked like a vampire. Perhaps she was a vampire herself.
This was definitely not the Wonder Woman of this universe.
Facing this scene.
Lois showed no sign of fear.
"Actually, there's a reason I bring my cat to work." She lifted the orange cat in her arms and whispered a promise into its ear.
The next moment.
The orange cat's eyes glowed with a crimson light.
A scorching red beam shot out from its eyes.
It headed directly for the vampire Diana!
Boom!!
A fierce explosion instantly engulfed the entire alley.
"Kitty Super Power!"
Lois breathed a sigh of relief, rubbing the cat's head.
The shockwave overturned garbage cans, and the walls were scorched black. Diana's figure was blasted away by the Heat Vision, slamming heavily into the wall and embedding her body in the ruins.
Amidst the flying dust.
Lois only felt a gust of wind rush past her. A red figure followed the trajectory of the Super Cat's Heat Vision, charging directly into the ruins where the vampire Diana had been slammed.
"Doesn't my contribution count? I also uncovered a conspiracy that the Justice League hasn't even noticed!" Someone attempted to steal the cat's thunder. He began fighting with the struggling vampire Diana in the dust-filled air.
Rumble!
The sound of shattering bricks and stone echoed in the night.
The battle was extremely fierce.
And it was close-quarters combat.
"Damn it! What's in your blood!" Following a series of loud crashes and angry shouts filled with disbelief, the red figure flew back even faster.
"Splatter—"
The man in the tight suit crashed heavily at Lois's feet.
The uniform around his neck was bitten through, and there was a deep bite mark on his flesh. Of course, it was no big deal. To Ian, this still counted as a reward.
And it was a double reward.
[Berserker Experience +6]
[Contracted Vampire Virus infection, Berserker Experience +13]
[Ingested Super Chemical Virus Product, Savage Tyrant Experience +49]
...
Ian didn't have time to be happy.
He lay on the ground and opened his eyes, seeing Lois, holding the cat, appear above him. She stared intently at his constantly vibrating lips with a look of hesitation.
"I'm not Ian, I'm The Flash, Barry Allen!" Ian, who didn't want to have a losing record in his career, quickly emphasized this before his mother could speak.
He executed a fish-flip and sat up, still maintaining the posture of bracing his hands on the ground with his legs raised high on both sides, being spun around by his disobedient external calves.
"..."
Lois finally confirmed the identity of The Flash.
"Did you dismantle Uncle Barry's body parts?"
She was greatly shocked.
It was no wonder Lois sounded so worried.
She thought that given Ian's condition, he might actually do such a thing.
"Shh—Don't interrupt The Flash's fight."
Ian first reminded Lois, then looked up at Diana emerging shakily from the ruins. "This woman definitely stuffed herself with metal prosthetics!"
"She's practically a Superman!"
"Her face is so hard that Heat Vision can't break it, and every part of her body is rock-solid. I almost chipped several of my front teeth!" Ian had been bitten by the vampire.
As someone who always sought revenge, he naturally bit back immediately.
It was just that his teeth were no match for her teeth.
He couldn't even bite the softest parts of her body.
"?????"
Ian's statement.
Made Lois, who was sheltered behind him, dare not ask any questions.
His mother really didn't want to know what attempts Ian had made earlier.
Just then.
Lois noticed the bite mark on Ian's neck.
"Were you bitten by a vampire?"
She was greatly alarmed.
She hurried forward.
Worrying that Ian might turn into a vampire too.
"We need to find your father!" His mother was clearly panicking. When faced with such a severe situation, the person who immediately came to her mind was, of course, Clark.
"No big deal."
Ian looked at Diana, who was staggering out of the ruins.
He hadn't mutated.
But after drinking his blood, the vampire Diana was completely different—the goddess was entirely covered in patches of green and red, looking like a colorful mushroom.
She also felt shaky and weak.
"Ugh, ugh, ugh—"
Diana was sprawled on the ground, retching violently.
Clearly.
She was the one who was poisoned and incapacitated.
"Ian, what did you do to her?" Lois was stunned when she saw the vampire Wonder Woman turn into a rainbow-colored person. Just how much tech and 'fierce stuff' did her child, who had a pica disorder, have inside him?
"I told you I'm The Flash... Uh, okay, I'm Ian." Ian originally wanted to be stubborn, but seeing Lois's unfriendly gaze, he wisely chose to concede.
Of course, passing the buck was also necessary. "I didn't do anything. She was poisoned by Fel and other things. She can only blame herself for being a greedy old glutton who dares to drink anything."
Given Wonder Woman's age.
No matter which parallel universe she came from, to Ian, she was definitely an old woman.
"This person isn't the Diana we know, right?" Lois looked at Diana, who was vomiting so hard that it looked like her internal organs might come out. She still hadn't lowered her guard.
"Yep."
Ian nodded.
If he wasn't mistaken.
Perhaps this Wonder Woman came from Earth-43.
That was a parallel universe where almost all Justice League members were vampires. He didn't know why this Diana from another universe would appear in his own universe to carry out an assassination attempt.
"Where is the Diana we know?"
Lois began to worry about Wonder Woman's safety.
However.
Her worry was only temporary.
"She's with Dad."
Ian answered honestly.
"?????"
Lois's eyes suddenly widened a bit.
"Wait, at two in the morning, why is your dad with Wonder Woman, and why doesn't he have time to save us?" Her expression became extremely suspicious—Lois didn't know about Barry's injury, she only knew that Clark, who always showed up promptly when she was in danger, hadn't appeared.
Women.
They always only remember what they want to remember.
"Dad ran into trouble."
Ian quickly defended Clark.
"Hmm?"
Lois frowned, holding the kitten, and pressed for more.
"What kind of trouble?"
She also dismissed the negative association, her tone becoming a bit worried.
"You'll have to ask her."
Ian looked at the vampire Wonder Woman who was about to vomit out her intestines.
He didn't even need to use his Super Brain.
He knew there was a conspiracy behind this.
As for what kind of conspiracy.
Ian guessed it was related to her abnormal physical fitness. Although Wonder Woman possessed a semi-divine body, it was impossible for her body to be so hard that she could withstand his Heat Vision with her face without her bracers, which was an exaggerated degree of strength.
"A cat from Krypton, and a poisoned brat... still can't stop me from completing my mission." The vampire Diana was gracious enough to lift her pale face. The multi-colored patches on her body had faded quite a bit, as if she had expelled the toxic substances through vomiting.
"Your Superman will become part of the 'Glorious Project,' just like us." The vampire Diana slowly stood up from the ground and wiped the corner of her mouth.
She seemed to have recovered quite a bit.
"Fel can't poison you?"
Ian was quite surprised at the sight.
The vampire Diana in front of him had completely recovered from the severe poisoning. Her clothes were torn, and her face was covered in dust and vomit, but her aura was still extremely powerful.
Immense power surged within her.
Terrifying divine power circulated around her body.
It was as if the entire space was warping and deforming under the influence of her divine power.
"The power and potential of thirteen parallel universe Dianas have merged with me. You simply don't understand how powerful I am now."
The vampire Wonder Woman sneered. Raising her hand, a sword that originally represented divinity appeared in her palm. However, the flames burning deep within the sword were pitch black.
It was extremely sinister.
The divine power fluctuation swept through the alley like a tsunami.
Broken stones floated in the energy field.
Ian immediately felt a very strong pressure.
"Perhaps your divine power far exceeds the ordinary." Ian's tone was arrogant, as if Reverse-Flash had temporarily possessed him. "But... you wicked Wonder Woman who crawled out of who knows where, you may have stolen power that doesn't belong to you from others, but such power is simply insignificant in front of a Speedster."
"Between the universes, the Speedster is the true king." Ian identified well with his Speedster identity. He sneered, slowly putting down his feet, which were equipped with the Speed Force devices.
"Swoosh—"
With that.
His legs landed back on the ground.
Ian instantly turned into a red streak of lightning.
Swiftness.
It was always the trademark of a Speedster.
And the ability to retreat to fight another day was also a right reserved for Speedsters.
"???????"
The vampire Wonder Woman was preparing to fight Ian. She had already mobilized the divine power in her body and poured it into the longsword in her hand, causing her longsword to burn with flames dozens of meters long.
However.
In just an instant.
The distance Ian shot out was already more than dozens of meters.
"Damn it! Coward! This is an absolute disgrace to the Superman family!" Seeing Ian clearly running further and further away, the vampire Wonder Woman was instantly infuriated after coming to her senses.
She clearly hadn't expected Ian to grab Lois and run.
By the time the vampire realized something was wrong.
Ian had completely disappeared from her sight. Speedsters could indeed always keep themselves invincible. When it came to running away, they were definitely among the top tier in the entire universe.
Of course.
The vampire Wonder Woman, who claimed to be thirteen-in-one, was not far behind. Even though she wasted a little time chasing, the vampire Wonder Woman still sprang up and caught up with Ian.
The Speed Force was surging madly.
The surrounding environment had blurred into huge color patches.
However.
Ian looked back.
The figure, also flying at high speed behind him, kept relentlessly on his heels.
The vampire Wonder Woman's speed was truly comparable to Superman's.
Relying purely on her incredibly powerful base stats, she matched the speed of a Speedster with a non-Speedster body, relentlessly pursuing him. The strong winds she generated shattered the glass windows along the way.
"I don't like this feeling!" Ian kept looking back and found the vampire Wonder Woman getting closer and closer to him. This was exactly the kind of powerful base stats he had fantasized about having.
"Swoosh—"
The red lightning was streaking. Ian, carrying his mother, ran wildly out of the city. He knew whose help he should seek, his father was always his greatest reliance.
"Can't you run faster? If that old monster behind us catches you, you'll be in big, big trouble. Do you know that old monster loves to eat whole roasted legs?"
Ian always used whatever methods he could. He began frantically psychologically manipulating his external Speed Force calves. "You really need to step up your game this time."
"For your own sakes... as long as you run fast enough, I will definitely release all of you someday." Ian made a promise without specifying the time.
Most people wouldn't be fooled.
But the Speed Force legs had no brains.
They seemed to believe whatever people told them. Hearing Ian's persuasion, they indeed carried Ian even harder, which finally allowed Wonder Woman to be slowly shaken off.
"Sure enough, throughout the myriad worlds, my verbal manipulation is superior." Ian now had time to search for his father. He quickly sprinted towards the factory he hadn't searched before.
The Speed Force calves carried his body, leaving a streak of red light in the suburbs.
The outline of the sewage treatment plant appeared on the horizon. It could only be said that Providence was with Ian this time. His luck was good, he hadn't gone to the wrong place. He successfully saw a familiar "pixelated" outline appearing in front of him—it was Diana, the Wonder Woman of this world, and an unconscious person she had rescued from the basement.
Both of them were outside the factory.
Diana seemed to be trying to wake up the unconscious person.
"Zzzzzz—"
Ian still initiated his handbrake.
He stopped in front of Diana, who was trying to wake up the Zombie Superman.
His "edging" pose shocked Diana.
"What happened? What did you do to Barry?"
Diana's gaze scanned back and forth between Ian's inverted hands and his constantly twitching legs strapped with black limbs. She couldn't even imagine who those Speed Force-glowing legs belonged to.
After all, as a core member of the Justice League, Diana had heard that Superman's son had pica.
"No time to explain. We're being chased by the parallel universe version of you. Where is my father?" Ian asked urgently, smoothly letting down his mother and his mother's guardian beast from his back.
"Oh! Clark!"
His mother was free from the effects of the Speed Force running.
After regaining her ability to think, she immediately saw the "Superman" who was placed on the concrete ground, unconscious and looking like he had been subjected to inhumane torture.
"What happened to you? Why is Clark like this?" Lois's eyes turned red. She quickly rushed forward, hugging the Zombie Superman's head, her eyes full of grief.
However.
This grief only lasted for a few short seconds.
"Wait, the feeling is wrong. This isn't my Clark." Lois's intelligence and judgment were not suppressed. Combining her previous experience and the current situation, she immediately discerned the situation.
"A clone? Or a Clark from another universe?" His mother wasn't sure, but no matter the situation, it didn't stop her from directly throwing the Zombie Superman back onto the ground.
The poor soul faced the earth again. There was no spring warmth; he was just covered in dust.
"..."
Diana watched this scene, her expression quite something.
Could she be any more pragmatic?
She realized where the Kent family's youngest son got his personality from.
"Where is my father?"
Ian questioned Diana again at this moment.
"Your father is dealing with his clones underground. Haven't you felt the constant earthquakes?" Diana still didn't quite understand what Ian and Lois had encountered.
However.
She was also able to put the relevant information together herself. "The parallel universe version of me is chasing you? That man just told me that Lex Luthor is no longer the Luthor of our universe."
"So, are we experiencing a parallel universe invasion?" It must be said that as an experienced veteran Super Hero, her analysis of the situation and the current state of affairs was very smooth.
As soon as she finished speaking.
A strong fluctuation of air current came through the air.
"Here they come!"
Ian had already sensed the opponent's powerful divine power fluctuation.
"The world is only so big. Where else can you run to?" The vampire Diana hovered in mid-air. Her black hair fluttered in the wind, and her pale skin gleamed with a cold luster in the moonlight.
"Hoping Superman will save you? He's underground right now. I know... But so what?" She looked down from above at Ian and Diana of this world on the ground.
Her expression was mocking.
"There really is another me!" Looking at the woman who was identical to her, Wonder Woman was also shocked. However, she quickly recovered, and intense fighting spirit flowed in her eyes.
"I don't need Superman. I can deal with you myself." Diana straightened up. Facing another version of herself, she fearlessly raised her longsword and fiercely leaped into the air.
"Don't!"
Ian didn't even have time to stop her. Wonder Woman rushed out like an arrow shot from a bow, using the signature move of a [Barbarian] against the other herself in the sky—a jumping slash.
Holy power circulated on the blade.
The genuine Diana of this universe was extremely fast. She was in the air in the blink of an eye. The Sword of Hephaestus sliced through the night, carrying the force of thunder, and struck straight at the vampire Wonder Woman's neck!
Facing the attack.
The vampire Wonder Woman neither dodged nor avoided it.
She merely sneered.
"Clang!!"
The Sword of Hephaestus sliced through the air.
Carrying divine power, it struck the vampire Wonder Woman's neck.
The sound of metal clashing was deafening, and sparks flew everywhere.
This strike was powerful enough to cleave mountains. However, such a terrifyingly mighty attack only left a fleeting spark on the vampire Wonder Woman's skin.
Not a single wound! She seemed to have taken on a script that didn't belong to her. She didn't perform any defense at all, enduring Diana's attack with her bare neck!
"How is this possible!"
Diana, holding the divine sword that could no longer be pressed down, saw the unharmed vampire Wonder Woman, and her pupils contracted violently for a moment.
This was the God-Killer sword!
A treasure capable of slaying gods!
Even Ares couldn't withstand it!
Why could another universe's version of herself withstand it?
For a moment.
Diana felt cold sweat pouring down her forehead. The last time she felt such disbelief was when Superman Clark was resurrected and became estranged.
"Nothing is impossible."
The vampire Wonder Woman spoke lightly.
"This is the power I possess after absorbing my counterparts from other universes—to be honest, I don't want to kill you, but I have to for a reason."
She raised her hand and grabbed the sword that was stuck in her neck.
"Hooooo—"
The black flame seemed to pollute the divine sword.
Diana quickly let go, thus avoiding the black flames from scorching her body. She raised her fist and attacked the opponent, but every punch that solidly landed on the other still failed to inflict any damage.
"Even if you have countless reasons, it's not an excuse for you to harm the innocent!" Diana tried to reach her potential, but even if she shouted louder, she couldn't compensate for the gap in strength.
"You simply don't understand what countless universes are facing. Only by absorbing all the versions of myself across all universes can I gain the power to cope, and only then can others gain the power to cope."
"Only one Justice League needs to exist in the multiverse, the strongest Justice League." The vampire Wonder Woman did not retaliate, but merely described her intent to Diana.
"If you can kill me, you can also take my place. Unfortunately... I am now the unbeatable version of yourself." Saying that, the vampire Wonder Woman just raised her fist and fiercely slammed it down.
"Bang!!!"
A dull thud erupted in the air. Diana crossed her arms over her chest, and her Bracelets of Submission instantly activated, bursting with silver light, forming a circular barrier.
However.
This barrier only lasted for less than a second before it shattered under the heavy blow! The impact was as violent as a falling meteor, sending Diana flying backward.
Her body tumbled several times in the air.
Finally, she smashed heavily onto the ground.
Dust flew, and bricks cracked. The generation of the Wonder Woman was reduced to plowing the ground with her body, carving a hundred-meter-long trench before finally stopping at Ian and Lois's feet.
"Cough, cough... Damn it... How can she be so strong!" Diana lay on the ground, opened her eyes, and coughed up several mouthfuls of blood. She saw Ian and Lois's faces appear in her sight.
"Because she ate more than ten versions of you? With the superposition of more than ten versions of your power?" This was a result Ian had anticipated. He simply couldn't stop the reckless warrior of the Justice League.
Hearing this.
Wonder Woman felt her chest, which was about to be crushed.
"Why didn't you say so earlier?"
She was on the verge of tears.
"You didn't give me time to warn you either."
Ian was genuinely aggrieved.
He simply couldn't stop Wonder Woman, who had rushed out just now.
"Are you alright?"
Lois was very concerned about Wonder Woman.
"Not very."
Wonder Woman honestly spoke the truth.
"See, Mom, I told you I wasn't weak." Ian pointed to the aunt on the ground who was the "perfect recreation" of his previous scene, defending himself once again for being slammed away earlier.
"..."
Lois didn't know how to comment.
"Can someone help me up?" Diana looked very embarrassed. Fortunately, Lois was kind enough to actively help her up from the ground.
However.
What puzzled Diana was that after Lois helped her up, Lois leaned closer to smell her. This made Diana feel bewildered.
"What are you doing?"
Diana couldn't help but ask.
"Smelling your perfume."
Lois replied without changing her expression.
"?????"
Diana was very confused.
She really didn't understand what the Kent family was thinking. Now, the Kent family's six-legged weirdo kid had crawled up to the Zombie Superman and was excitedly gripping the ankles of the unconscious Zombie Superman.
"What are you doing?" Under Diana's gaze, Ian seemed to be acting like a person again, standing up on the feet strapped with the two extra legs.
"Of course, to avenge my previous defeat!"
Ian floated in mid-air, avoiding his constantly moving Speed Force legs from running around randomly again. He was adjusting the feel of his grip on the Zombie Superman's ankles.
"You can't beat that guy." Diana stared ahead, her body slightly trembling, and her chest aching faintly. Her Bracelets of Submission were making a distressed whine under pressure.
The Sword of Hephaestus was also thrown down from high altitude by that terrifying counterpart.
As if the opponent utterly disliked her weapon.
"Are you still going to resist?"
The vampire Wonder Woman slowly landed, her toes lightly touching the ground, her movements graceful and calm. She scanned her surroundings, her gaze falling on the three of them, a cold sneer appearing at the corner of her mouth.
"The people of your world are as ignorant as the people of other worlds." She said slowly. "Everyone thinks they can save everything, but in the face of true power, they are nothing more than ants."
The air was filled with the scent of death.
As if even time had frozen at this moment—the battle hadn't ended, but the outcome seemed obvious? Not necessarily. After all, Ian had gripped his most handy weapon.
A Kryptonian.
This was a major weapon of the Imperial Artifact level.
"That's not your father."
Lois reminded Ian.
She thought Ian hadn't recognized him.
"It's okay. A fake dad can also help me in battle. If it were the real dad, I wouldn't dare use him." Ian finished speaking, landed again, and rushed towards the vampire Wonder Woman led by the Speed Force calves. He tightly held the unconscious "Zombie Superman," wielding him like a giant war hammer.
"Come and feel the indestructible head of a Kryptonian!"
Ian was making a passionate speech.
It wasn't just Lois and Diana who were struck by lightning at this sight.
Even the vampire Wonder Woman was baffled.
"What kind of fighting style is this?" Incredulously, her dynamic vision captured Ian rushing in front of her, swinging the Kryptonian in his hands and smashing it toward her.
"Bang!"
A loud crash.
The Zombie Superman's body smashed heavily onto the vampire Wonder Woman's chest. The force of the impact was so strong that it sent her flying backward, crashing through a huge water tower before she fell to the ground.
The facts proved.
Although the vampire Wonder Woman's body was very hard.
The reputation of the Kryptonians was not ruined because of this.
They.
Were as T0-level as ever in their Man of Steel physics.
"Take this! Fake Dad's Meteor Hammer of the Heavens!!" Ian didn't give the vampire Wonder Woman a chance to catch her breath. With the boost from the Speed Force external calves, his closing speed was extremely fast.
He raised the Zombie Superman above his head, smashing down again like swinging a meteor hammer! As a result, the vampire Wonder Woman was instantly pinned to the ground like a whack-a-mole game.
"Impossible! You can't have this much strength! This is... divine power!" The vampire Wonder Woman's head kept continuously colliding with the Zombie Superman's head.
The offense and defense were reversed.
Ian didn't give the opponent a chance.
He hammered the vampire Wonder Woman, causing her to howl in agony.
Her screams alerted the onlookers from afar.
"Damn it! How do you possess such high-level divine power!" The vampire Wonder Woman finally realized what was wrong. Based on Ian's strength, he shouldn't be able to shake her defense at all.
Even holding a powerful weapon... no, even holding a powerful Kryptonian, it shouldn't cause her this much pain. The reason for this, as the vampire Wonder Woman realized through repeated excruciating pain.
It was divine power!
The opponent had infused the "hammer" with divine power!
The vampire Wonder Woman roared, trying to steady herself. However, every time she was hit by the "Zombie Superman," she felt a scorching power penetrate her skin.
Burning her soul.
This wasn't just an ordinary physical strike.
It was a divine power impact.
It could cause a staggering effect.
A deep pit was smashed into the ground.
The entire factory was shaking. The ceiling collapsed, steel bars broke, and dust flew everywhere. The vampire Wonder Woman covered her head, issuing pained groans one after another.
She also tried to use her bracers to block the attack.
However.
The divine power-infused bracers crumbled instantly in front of Ian's divine power.
"Are you a descendant of the gods?!"
The vampire Wonder Woman was greatly shocked. This kind of divine power was even more advanced than she had expected.
"Nonsense! The Evil God Lord's divine power belongs only to himself! It's Evil God Magic!" Ian found the fake father quite handy, but he still missed his aunt Kara the most.
Perhaps she was the white moonlight everyone could never forget?
"Enough!"
Her roar didn't make Ian stop. Instead, it made Ian even more excited—mainly because Ian had discovered a truth, a truth that no one would normally be able to find.
He finally discovered the reason why Kryptonians had such low magical resistance compared to physical resistance!
It turned out that Kryptonians' bodies possessed an incredible magical conductivity! At least in Ian's hands, he felt that this magical conductivity was absolutely top-notch!
"You can't kill me!" The vampire Diana roared through gritted teeth. Although she was being beaten badly, there were still no obvious wounds on her body.
The vampire Wonder Woman was about to counterattack.
"Really? I don't believe you."
Ian quickly closed in. The "Zombie Superman" in his hand turned into a continuous flurry of attacks. Every smash carried a scorching divine power fluctuation, pushing her back step by step.
Her body was very hard.
Her reaction speed was very fast.
But the vampire Wonder Woman felt she couldn't take it anymore—the opponent's arsenal of external tools was truly extraordinary. He didn't rely on himself but entirely on others.
First, the Speedster's legs.
Then, the Kryptonian's head.
And the divine power obtained from who knows where.
What kind of hybrid combination was this?
"I said enough! You weak and despicable brat!"
The vampire Wonder Woman couldn't stand it anymore. Diana hadn't reached her potential, but she did. At the moment of immense humiliation, she forced herself to counterattack against Ian's assault.
"Boom!"
Even though this woman was being violently slapped by Ian.
She seized the opportunity to swing her fist fiercely.
Punching straight through Ian's chest!
[Berserker Experience +29]
Ian didn't even try to dodge.
This was always his fighting strategy.
Of course.
This strategy wasn't as effective recently, it lacked sustainability.
The reason was also simple.
"Rumble!"
Just as the vampire Wonder Woman punched through Ian's chest, the kind of treatment Reverse-Flash once enjoyed reappeared—divine power leaked out, exploding like a volcanic eruption.
The vampire Diana's right hand penetrated Ian's chest, but the moment it happened, it was as if she had stabbed into the core of the sun, instantly carbonizing her hand. Terrifying energy burst out.
Instantly scorching the vampire Wonder Woman's face.
"No!"
The vampire Wonder Woman screamed repeatedly.
She was hit by the overflow of divine power, and her entire body flew backward, tracing a black-smoking parabolic arc in the air before slamming heavily onto the ground, collapsing an entire empty water tower!
At this moment.
It wasn't just the vampire Wonder Woman who felt the terrifying divine power. Even the genuine Wonder Woman Diana of this world clearly sensed some information contained within Ian's divine power.
"How is this possible! Lois! Your son has the potential of a God-King!?" Diana was dumbfounded. Her eyes widened, and she stared at the boy holding the Zombie Superman in front of her, her tone filled with terror.
Suddenly.
She felt a deep stare from beside her.
"I was just about to ask you the same thing. Why does our youngest son have divine power..." The observing Lois asked with a very suspicious tone.
"..."
Wonder Woman, who had been incredibly shocked just moments before, was instantly silenced.
"Huh?" Diana originally wanted to enjoy this gossip, but she didn't expect the gossip to land on her. As she thought through the situation, the expression on her face became increasingly complex.
Who in the Justice League had divine power?
On Earth.
How many women had divine power?
"No! This has nothing to do with me! I'm only a demigod!" Diana vehemently countered. "A demigod is just a demigod. It's impossible to give birth to a child who is such a..."
She seemed to have thought for a long time.
But couldn't find an appropriate adjective.
"God-King."
Lois reminded her.
"Yes, exactly, a God-King like that."
Diana quickly agreed with Lois—she felt that her parallel universe self was truly miserable and was even more confused about where Clark had managed to get Ian from.
While the two women were observing and discussing.
"What the hell are you!"
A similar confusion surged in the vampire Wonder Woman's heart.
Her words were even more direct.
There was no helping it. The vampire Wonder Woman truly couldn't hold it together anymore. She climbed up from the ground, her face hadn't even fully recovered, but she found that Ian's recovery speed was even faster than hers, a vampire.
"I crushed your heart!"
She was completely bewildered in this situation.
"My heart gets crushed often. It's not a big problem." Ian's response directly left the vampire Wonder Woman speechless. She couldn't understand what was going on with the Superman family in this universe.
"You're not a Kryptonian... You're not Clark's child."
The vampire Wonder Woman seemed to realize something at this moment.
However.
Her sudden realization infuriated Ian.
"Nonsense! My name is Ian Kent, and I am the Son of Superman!"
Saying that.
Ian, who had fully healed, raised the Zombie Superman and charged again.
He was aggressive.
It looked like he could chase and beat the vampire Wonder Woman for three days and three nights.
"Stay away from me!"
The vampire Wonder Woman was now panicking.
She realized that she seemed to have provoked something unclean. The damned kid's strength seemed ordinary, but he had a bunch of external biological armaments, and she also knew that she couldn't bite him.
And she couldn't kill him either.
The divine power and severe poison in this guy's body were too potent!
He came with a high counter-damage built-in!
How was she supposed to fight this?
The vampire Wonder Woman, whose own strength far exceeded Ian's, felt extremely wronged. Facing the charging boy, she quickly flew up into the sky, soaring straight up as if fleeing for her life.
"Hmm? Who's the cowardly lizard now?"
Ian was not one to let things go when he had the upper hand.
He diagonally slung the Zombie Superman, who was not as useful as his aunt Kara, on his back like a sword, then used the Speed Force external calves to launch himself, quickly maneuvering upwards with an extreme field of vision Teleport.
With the combination of multiple skills.
Ian firmly grabbed the desperately fleeing vampire Wonder Woman.
"Don't run! I'm about to eat!"
Ian clung to the vampire Wonder Woman's back like an octopus.
"What are you doing!"
The vampire Wonder Woman kicked and thrashed wildly, even wrenching Ian's neck, but she still couldn't make Ian let go. She was tightly entangled by Ian in the sky, flying erratically everywhere.

[Berserker Experience +18]
...
"Let go! If you don't go save your father, your father is going to die!" The vampire Wonder Woman was genuinely scared now. Even if Ian threw away his weapon, she didn't want to continue fighting with him.
"What do you mean? Make it clear, and I'll consider letting go." Ian clung tightly to the vampire Wonder Woman's back. Hearing this, his heart also tightened.
The vampire Wonder Woman didn't fall for it.
"Choose, chase me, or go save your father."
She coldly gave him a choice between two options.
"You still don't know who the dominant one is, do you?"
Just as Ian was about to fiercely stab himself and unleash the divine power within his body to teach the vampire a lesson, to let this vampire know that when Lord Ian went all out, he would even kill himself.
"Zzzzzz—!"
The Zombie Superman strapped to Ian's back suddenly roared and opened his eyes.
A terrifying Fel beam shot out from his eyes, passing directly by Ian's ear, and precisely struck the vampire Wonder Woman's head!
"Boom!!!"
Blood and unknown substances instantly exploded, splashing all over Ian's face. The vampire Wonder Woman's head instantly burst into countless fragments, as if it had been hit by a cannonball.
Blood and white matter scattered everywhere.
"??????!"
Everything happened too fast.
Ian didn't have time to react. The headless vampire's body suddenly convulsed. Like a kite with a broken string, it plummeted to the ground from the high altitude, dragging him down with it.
The earth cracked.
A huge pit was instantly smashed out.
[Berserker Experience +7]
[Berserker Experience +8]
[Berserker Experience +8]
...
Ian ignored his injuries and didn't have time to retrieve the peerless hammer that had detached from his back and fallen in the distance. He immediately unstrapped the Speed Force external calves.
He rushed to the headless corpse with his own two legs.
"Don't die! There are thirty seconds left! Thirty seconds!" Seeing the vampire Wonder Woman die so easily, Ian couldn't help but gain a new perspective on the absurdity of reality.
"System! Hurry! It's still fresh! Maybe it can still be used!" Ian checked the vampire's neck, which was thoroughly scorched by Fel. He couldn't even find the vampire's windpipe to perform artificial respiration.
And green foam was bubbling everywhere.
It was very disgusting.
Fortunately, the system's countdown finally reached its end.
[You have met one of the prerequisites for the Entropy Dominator Class. Please find and consume any planetary metal ore as soon as possible!]
As the countdown ended.
Ian also received the system prompt he had been eagerly awaiting, successfully acquiring his third Supernatural Class.
[Ding!]
[Class Change Successful!]
[Class: Entropy Dominator Acquired!]
[Entropy Dominator: When the cape lifts the folds of space-time and the scepter shatters the dimensional wall, the entire world will be reduced to a footnote of its power in the dirge of entropy!]
[Base Template Loaded!]
[Acquired Innate Skill—Feeding the Multiverse.]
[Class Skill Tree Activated!]
The moment the new Class was awakened.
Ian's four-dimensional attributes also received a new increase.
[Strength: 76—113]
[Constitution: 90—150]
[Intelligence: 5.1—11.0]
[Spirit: 39—50]
True to the long wait for the Class awakening.
In a game, this would be at least a legendary red Class, the kind that couldn't be played without paying. Just upon successful class change, Ian's Strength and Constitution directly reached three-digit levels.
Ian could clearly feel the trembling of every muscle fiber.
As if a powerful force was surging through his body.
His heartbeat became slow and deep, like the heart of an ancient giant beast slowly beating in his chest. Every pulse propelled a life energy far more powerful than before through his body.
"My thinking speed has increased significantly."
Ian not only felt a noticeable increase in his basic physical qualities, but the most crucial thing was the leap in Intelligence! It should be noted that this was an important attribute that affected nerve reaction speed.
To fight a Speedster.
This attribute was the most needed.
Utilizing the legs of a Speedster like the Time Wraith also required strong nerve reaction speed and sensory ability. Now, Ian could even clearly perceive the wind flowing from different directions around him.
This was a miraculous experience.
Of course.
There was something even more miraculous.
"This feeling... is a new innate skill!" In addition to the enhancement of his physical qualities, Ian felt a strange throbbing spreading from the depths of his chest.
As if some unknown "organ" had quietly grown within his body.
It was intangible and formless, yet it genuinely existed.
He opened his mouth.
And instinctively took a gentle inhale.
A subtle ripple spread through the air.
The warm corpse of the vampire Wonder Woman on the ground suddenly trembled a few times. A nearly imperceptible wisp of life force was drawn out, flowing into his body through his throat.
The feeling was as natural as drinking water.
[Entropy Dominator Experience +7]
Whether the corpse was warm or not didn't matter.
Ian felt quite warm in his own stomach.
[Feeding the Multiverse: Your existence is the resting note of entropy. As an incarnation between order and chaos in the universe, the Entropy Dominator naturally possesses the instinct to absorb the energy of all things.
Whether it is a star or those great beings... everything that has 'energy' can be perceived and devoured by you. Everything in the world is the nourishment that helps you continue to grow indefinitely.
When you are in a state of hunger, your Sanity will decrease by thirty percent, and when you are in a state of satiety, all your attributes will receive a fifty percent increase in enhancement.]
It must be said.
As a Class unlocked by Galactus, this [Entropy Dominator] truly contained the essential characteristics of Galactus, and the innate ability it brought felt completely against the natural order to Ian.
Even if he inhaled thin air.
Ian felt he could gain experience points.
[Entropy Dominator Experience +1]
Ian just gnawed on a few dozen more stones, and he gained another experience point increase. What a badass passive skill! This was much more convenient than searching the world for biochemical reagents!
[Entropy Dominator Experience +1]
[Entropy Dominator Experience +1]
He gnawed on another hundred stones.
Under the wide-eyed gaze of his mother and Wonder Woman.
Ian happily ate and leveled up directly.
[Entropy Dominator LV2 [0/20]]
[Strength: 113—130]
[Constitution: 150—170]
[Intelligence: 11—13.0]
[Spirit: 50—58]
Although the subsequent level-up increase was not as significant as the initial Class acquisition, it was still a stronger increase than [Berserker]. Ian was increasingly eager to find the remaining pieces of the [Berserker] Class.
He believed they definitely existed.
Hidden somewhere in the Marvel Universe.
"Wait, why did such a powerful Wonder Woman only give me a tiny bit of experience?" Ian started eating stones again, only to find that after reaching level two, eating ordinary stones basically yielded no benefit.
He searched the ground for fragments of stone.
And consumed all of them.
He only gained 5 experience points.
"Uh, my stomach is full." Ian tried to use his mouth to suck stones from a distance. It was useless. The energy in the stones was in the form of their existence.
As for the corpse of the vampire Wonder Woman, which had started to cool down.
[Entropy Dominator Experience +6]
This headless corpse only provided a tiny bit more experience.
It turned directly into dust.
It seemed that all the energy in the body had been sucked dry—this was clearly wrong. After all, she was such a powerful Super Lifeform. There should still be immense energy inside, but it was nowhere to be found.
Ian was very puzzled.
And just at this moment.
"Hiss—"
Suddenly.
Diana, who was advising Lois to take Ian to see a psychiatrist more often, abruptly knelt down. Her whole body trembled, as if a scorching flame was surging through her veins.
"What's wrong?"
Lois quickly expressed concern.
Wonder Woman raised a trembling hand, stopping Lois from touching her. Her entire skin was abnormally flushed, and physicalized light burst from the seams of her Armor of the Gods.
That was divine power.
External divine power was being injected into her body with unstoppable force!
"Aargh—"
Diana painfully arched her back. The Lasso of Truth automatically unraveled, dancing in the air like a glowing golden snake. Ancient, never-before-seen runes appeared on every section of the lasso.
The symbols were blindingly bright, as if being scorched by high temperatures. Her muscle lines became more defined under the divine power surge, and even her hair began to emit tiny golden sparks.
"What is happening?!"
Diana tried to suppress the rampaging power within her body.
"Damn it, I found the energy that disappeared! It went into Aunt Diana!" Ian flipped out of the deep pit, casually tossing the Zombie Superman, who couldn't be sucked for energy, to the side.
This served as a reminder.
It immediately made Diana recall the information the vampire Wonder Woman had mentioned earlier.
"Power transfer after a counterpart dies?" Diana gasped as she stood up. Her face was pale, but her life force was growing stronger. She just hadn't adapted to the rapidly increasing power yet.
"Not just power, but potential too? When a counterpart dies, their power and potential are distributed to all other surviving identical individuals in all other universes?" Diana analyzed some information. All those possibilities that had belonged to the other universe Dianas were now flooding into her bloodstream like a torrent.
"Why is this happening?"
Diana didn't feel happy about the increase in her strength.
Instead, she had a bad premonition.
Or rather, an accurate intuition. As a veteran of the Justice League, she knew well that the acquisition of power always came with an extraordinary price.
Although she hadn't yet grasped the principle that an impending major war always brought about a power-up, Diana had vaguely touched the threshold of this realization. She didn't think this was a good thing.
The deceased version of herself had also said that the universe was facing some kind of crisis... Thinking of this, Diana's heart felt increasingly uneasy.
The facts also proved that her uneasiness might indeed be a reflection of her sixth sense.
"The multiverse... This is its... self-preservation mechanism."
A hoarse and stuttering voice suddenly interjected the conversation. The Zombie Superman, who had been tossed aside, had actually opened his eyes. His pupils had become chaotic and unclear.
But his soul still seemed to be struggling.
"What do you mean?"
Diana quickly asked.
"Stop Clark... from killing... He's killing, underground... He can't hold out much longer. I, I already..." The Zombie Superman sat paralyzed on the ground, clutching his forehead.
His speech was disjointed.
But his meaning was still relatively clear.
Something was wriggling under his grayish-white skin.
"What does Clark killing clones have to do with you?" Diana frowned. While suppressing the rampaging power in her body, she covered Ian's mouth as he tried to suck the air around her.
"Luthor... is replicating... the universe's... miracle... with me!" The Zombie Superman's jaw suddenly twitched unnaturally, and the wriggling beneath his skin intensified.
"Aaaaaargh!!"
Without warning, the Zombie Superman raised his head and let out a non-human howl. Two thick green beams shot out of his eyes, piercing straight through the clouds above.
The dark clouds were blasted away.
He illuminated the night sky like a greenish-yellow midnight sun.
The entire city shook at this moment.
"He's absorbing the power of those clones!" Ian realized something was wrong immediately. He didn't try to suck the energy and quickly ran toward the constantly shaking entrance of the underground facility.
The change in the Zombie Superman.
It was clearly caused by Clark taking out the clones.
"It's too late! Clark... your Clark... he..." The Zombie Superman's words were cut short. His body seemed to start collapsing inch by inch.
Spiderweb-like cracks appeared on the surface of his skin.
Countless green energies surged within.
But they were still restrained by the powerful Kryptonian body.
"He can't bear this power transfer anymore!" Diana wanted to rush forward to help, but even with her greatly increased divine power, she couldn't help the Zombie Superman soothe the frantically multiplying energy inside him.
"Step back!"
Diana dragged Lois away rapidly.
"Is this man going to explode?" Lois was also very startled. She felt that the Clark from the other universe didn't seem like a bad person, so she still wanted to help him.
"If only it were just that!"
Diana picked up her longsword.
She had already sensed something was wrong.
"Aaaaaargh!"
The Zombie Superman continued to let out painful roars. His body began to swell dramatically, and countless glowing cracks appeared on the surface of his skin. Only, what surged within wasn't blood.
It was some kind of green energy fluid.
Meanwhile.
"Dad! Hurry!"
Ian also emerged from the underground facility at this time, finding his blood-soaked father. His father was unharmed, and Ian was holding the corpses of two newly acquired clones in his hands.
All the energy from these corpses had already been transferred.
However.
It didn't stop Ian from using them as handy weapons.
"This is..."
Clark made an even clearer distinction than Diana. When he saw the Zombie Superman gradually changing, his weary mind was instantly jolted awake.
"Doomsday!"
His father immediately grabbed Ian and Lois without a word and rushed into the distance.
The night was like green ink.
The wind was howling.
When Clark placed his family in a safe location and returned again, he managed to catch Diana, who had been slammed away. Even Diana, who had received a partial power inheritance from her counterpart, was already covered in wounds.
There was no helping it.
Her opponent was the symbol of ultimate terror, even to Kryptonians. Doomsday came from the destroyed Krypton and was often referred to as one of the two most powerful living weapons in the entire universe, alongside the Parademons.
And now.
The Zombie Superman who had been rescued earlier was clearly mutating toward Doomsday. The terrifying energy and inhuman torture seemed to have triggered the forbidden gene within the Kryptonian body.
The Zombie Superman.
He—no, perhaps he should be called "it" now—stood hunched over in the open ground of the sewage plant. His blue uniform had been completely ripped apart by the tumor-like growth of flesh, revealing his grayish-green skin underneath. The muscles that once made countless people feel safe were now twisted into terrifying lumps.
"Clark, what should we do? Where's Bruce?" Diana's deep-seated psychological trauma, long buried, had been triggered in one exchange.
"Kill me! Quick!"
The Zombie Superman roared up at the sky. A destructive Fel energy storm swept out, causing buildings to collapse and the sky to tear apart.
His body was mutating with a very rapid, visible progression. His two arms convulsed and swelled constantly. The bones inside made an ear-splitting "crack-crack" sound. The commotion shook the earth across the suburbs.
"Kill—me!"
Amidst the roar.
Many bones in the Zombie Superman's body violently protruded outwards. His skin began to turn into an obsidian-like shell, and a core of dark energy surged in his chest—the curse of Doomsday within the Kryptonian gene was consuming him.
Perhaps more than just that.
Unnoticed by anyone.
Something ancient and more malevolent was taking on a new body.
"Clark, we have to go now. We have to call the League. He's turning into Doomsday!" Diana yelled, her voice trembling.
"Too late. He's not Doomsday yet, but he's close. And this... this feeling, it's not just the Doomsday virus... It's him." Clark's voice was grim, his eyes fixed on the monstrosity that was rapidly growing.
"Who?" Diana asked, utterly terrified.
"The Ultimate Destroyer. He tried to replicate the miracle... using him as a vessel. We need to stop him, Diana. Doomsday is just a puppet now."
The Zombie Superman's form fully transformed. He was a colossal, gray-green behemoth, covered in sharp, bone-like protrusions. A core of dark, unsettling energy pulsed violently in his chest, ready to unleash a force beyond comprehension.
This was no mere clone's mutation. This was the dawn of a multiversal threat.
