Chapter 123 - Chapter 123: Father God! I've Come to Help You!

A stretch of green.

Beneath the dim sky.

System notifications kept ringing in Ian's ears.

But this did not affect his super hearing.

After being subjected to Doomsday's "Hug-a-Brother-to-Death" attack, where he was pressed firmly against its belly, he seriously suspected Doomsday wanted to stuff him inside to be a fetus for the creature in its stomach.

His mind was quick.

Unfortunately, Ian had no evidence.

He only knew that Doomsday was acting strangely. Doomsday was a creature without intelligence, so it couldn't possibly be making such a cry for help. Therefore, the cry for help must belong to another being.

"Is it pregnant? Do men carry babies in this parallel universe? Is this a world full of 'man-moms'?" Ian could hear the voice even more clearly.

"Kryptonian! Kryptonian! You should fulfill your mission! Protect your God!"

There was indeed a voice calling for help from the Kryptonian.

Ian raised his head.

He remembered Krypton did have a God.

However, the Kryptonian on Earth didn't seem to care about this God. His own dad seemed unable to hear the call and was currently busy saving the military's aircraft—high above Metropolis, Superman seemed unable to escape his destiny. God knows how many military fighter jets he had already saved.

The advanced fighter jets and helicopters, which were supposedly worth hundreds of millions of dollars, were utterly meaningless against a disaster like Doomsday, whether or not their paper specifications were fabricated.

They were all as fragile as paper. They hadn't even flown to the accident scene, yet the evil energy corrupting the sky had already disabled all of the planes' electronic instruments.

The planes crashed.

No one else needed to lift a finger.

The pilots, also affected by the substance released by the evil energy, chose the path of eternal rest themselves. Superman became a blur in the sky, once again saving countless military families.

"Don't ignore your God! Don't be a traitor!" The voice grew more anxious, sounding ignored and then becoming exasperated.

"Hammer's God! Only one God is allowed in Metropolis, and that's my Father God, who is bound to ascend to Omnipotence in the future!" Ian no longer even wanted to be an Evil God himself.

He only wanted his dad to succeed.

Who would want to start their own business when they could be a second-generation God? Ian loudly reminded the Superman in the sky that he needed to work harder. He believed that with Superman's super hearing, he could definitely hear his son's urging.

"Hmm, I hear this brat talking about 'Father God'? So he's also a member of the Earth's God Race?" Green Lantern had been watching the crazy gyroscope on the ground.

Or perhaps, he should call it a crazy range hood now.

The sucking noise was truly too loud, even more ridiculous than the roar of a jet engine. Cold air, grass, and stones from a large surrounding area were all approaching the boy's mouth.

"Don't ask me that question, thank you. It has nothing to do with me." Having been previously questioned by Lois, Wonder Woman now seemed particularly cautious.

She offered no reply.

But Ian was shouting up at the sky.

"Whether or not I'm a God Race depends on whether my Father God is capable enough! He clearly has the potential of God!" Since his last encounter with Lucifer, Ian had been incredibly envious.

Feeling wronged and frustrated.

When would his dad finally rise up?

The other guy's dad was more capable than his own dad.

He didn't like the feeling of losing the 'Daddy Showdown'.

"?????"

Superman, who was saving planes, heard this and his plane-holding hand trembled slightly. He didn't know what virtues he possessed to be praised to this extent by Ian.

"I am God! You stupid brat! Get lost! Don't interfere with my resurrection!" The voice inside Doomsday's belly could clearly hear the commotion outside.

Its impoliteness greatly bothered Ian.

"You fake God! Don't defy the natural order! The stupid one is not me... Damn it, you cursed me so filthily, I'll make you show your true form, you ghostly thing!"

"And help me cultivate!" Ian clung to Doomsday's belly like a koala, his cheeks puffed out like an inflated pufferfish, an upgrade from his previous hamster-like state.

He sucked energy from inside Doomsday with more force, like sipping bubble tea. Innumerable invisible energies, like a soul mist, were sucked into his mouth.

[Entropy Extinction Lord Experience +34]

[Entropy Extinction Lord Experience +38]

[Entropy Extinction Lord Experience +34]

Perhaps the source of this experience was indeed not the hideous Doomsday, but the power of a certain soul. Doomsday's roar originated from some factor within its body.

When Doomsday roared.

That voice would simultaneously roar inside Doomsday's body.

"You don't know what you are doing! Stop! Only I can save you!" The self-proclaimed God's voice roared constantly, the tone clearly becoming angrier and more panicked.

"Lol, you can't even save yourself, yet you say you want to save us? How can someone be so boastful? You might as well say, 'You don't bow to me, so your true destiny is lost'."

"At least people would remember your imposing manner, even if you crash and burn," Ian said. Of course, he wouldn't let go of this chance to level up. His mouth was practically glued to Doomsday's skin.

Old, tough meat.

Couldn't bite through it.

The taste after biting it a couple of times was like American curry mixed with Houttuynia cordata. But this didn't stop Ian from gaining experience.

[Entropy Extinction Lord Experience +44]

[Entropy Extinction Lord Experience +42]

[Entropy Extinction Lord Experience +48]

...

The frenzied sucking naturally led to super-fast leveling.

After leveling up six times straight before, Ian gained another increase in his professional level. The profession, which he had only awakened today, had directly become his highest-level profession.

[Entropy Extinction Lord LV9 [1/2560]]

[Strength: 250 -> 270]

[Constitution: 290 -> 310]

[Intelligence: 19.0 -> 20.1]

[Spirit: 94 -> 101]

...

Three-digit Strength and Constitution had given Ian a physical level far exceeding that of ordinary superheroes. Given the chance, he could also go save a derailed train or repair a snapped cruise ship.

For no other reason.

Just to hear a few cries of "Holy crap" or "Motherfucker" from others.

They were the best compliments in the world.

And the reason he was able to reach such a high professional level and physical quality in such a short time, Ian knew, was almost entirely due to his own hard work.

"I can actually work harder!" Ian felt that the extra digestive organ he had was already starting to struggle to digest the continuously pouring energy.

He wasn't panicking.

He immediately used seven Skill Points and dumped them into the same skill, learning the original beginner skill and advancing it to Advanced with his superb comprehension.

[Ultimate Hunger lv3: Activates the [Ultimate Hunger] state. For three hours, greatly increases experience gain efficiency and enhances the body's capacity to contain and digest energy.

At the highest tier, this skill will grant you the Mythological Form after consuming enough energy.]

This was a benefit skill.

It could be used once a day and leveled up to a maximum of five tiers. Like most professional skills, each subsequent level required more Skill Points.

Ian believed in taking risks to gain rewards.

He was determined to suck out and digest whatever was inside Doomsday's belly today—of course, his decision to learn and invest points in this skill was also because he was very curious about the so-called Mythological Form.

Mythological. The word sounded fierce.

According to the system's usual pattern.

It certainly wouldn't disappoint Ian.

In the skill trees of other professions, Ian had only seen such a description at the top of the [Savage Tyrant] skill tree, belonging to the professional skills of the [Void God].

It was clear that the Mythological Form was a unique attribute of this ultimate profession.

"Just let me level up another twenty or thirty times! Please!" Ian once again engaged in a frenzied mutual grinding with Doomsday. His absorption of a certain energy inside Doomsday did not hinder Doomsday's evolution.

As he continued to devour.

The Doomsday, which wanted to crush him, began to undergo a mutation under the burning of his divine power while injured. Its body, which was on the verge of collapse, began to self-repair. A biological armor with a metallic sheen slowly grew out, covering its entire body like a living battlesuit.

It directly shielded Doomsday from Ian's divine power burning—this was the most powerful biological weapon of Krypton, capable of continuously evolving itself based on the environment and the battle situation.

Divine Power Defense Biological Armor.

Seeing this.

Wonder Woman in the sky also felt the armor's ability to counter her power.

"This is not a good sign."

Wonder Woman frowned, her expression solemn, but she didn't know what to do. After all, her intervention would only accelerate Doomsday's frenzied evolution.

This was tantamount to raising the BOSS's level. One must remember, not everyone could engage in a mutual, honest power-leveling session with Doomsday like the little boy down below.

"That boy got a bit stronger just now... but Doomsday's strengthening speed is clearly superior." Cyborg had been monitoring the two alleged life forms below.

His tone carried a hint of worry.

"This boy looks like a cosmic-level range hood... Sigh, I can't help him now. My imagination has met its match, I can't deal with a creature beyond my comprehension." Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, turned his neck, his gaze following the two figures rolling on the ground.

Cyborg was about to speak but held his tongue.

He changed the subject.

"Didn't Superman say he was going to find Batman? How does he still have the leisure to save planes?" Cyborg looked into the distance, where Superman had already saved the eightieth plane that stubbornly came to investigate.

"Maybe Superman doesn't want to face us, or the kid down there." Wonder Woman looked like she saw through everything, but this was just her jest.

"We need the damn mysterious Kryptonite!"

Green Lantern was frustrated that he couldn't materialize an effective solution. Although the kid below had punched him in the face, he still felt the boy possessed the willpower and courage that the Green Lantern Corps needed.

Due to Doomsday's characteristics.

The three founding members of the Justice League were at a loss as to how to deal with the current situation.

And right at that moment.

"If you could use your brains..."

A shadow descended from the sky.

The Batmobile broke through the clouds.

A low voice came from the suddenly appearing Batmobile. The vehicle performed a beautiful drift and stopped in mid-air.

"You should have thought that Luthor wouldn't have failed to prepare a means of restraint for a monster like this." Bruce hung from the car door, speaking to the others.

His black cape fluttered in the strong wind.

His tone was as cold as ever.

"Bruce, this guy's genes are corrupted. Ordinary Kryptonite won't work." Wonder Woman sighed, about to explain that the Doomsday below came from another world.

But then she saw the familiar look in Batman's eyes.

The look of a man who already knew everything.

So Wonder Woman chose to remain silent.

"I am aware of what happened, so there's no need to explain to me. Now, let's solve the problem first." As Batman spoke, he reached into the car and pulled out a spear glowing with a faint blue light.

"I wasn't planning on continuing to explain anyway."

Wonder Woman hadn't expected Batman to still try to act cool when she hadn't even opened her mouth.

"What is that?" Cyborg stared at the spear in Batman's hand. The spearhead had a crystal that he didn't recognize. He asked, confused, and simultaneously activated his scanner to analyze it.

The analysis was fast.

But before he could get a result.

Batman glanced at him sideways.

"If you hadn't been waiting here for others to think for you, and instead hacked into Luthor's base system earlier, I think you wouldn't be asking me such a foolish question."

Batman rebuked Cyborg mercilessly.

After speaking.

He, too, frowned, a flicker of suspicion and confusion crossing his eyes—as a master of emotional control, Batman's emotions shouldn't have fluctuated so greatly.

But he was extremely annoyed right now.

"Uh... sorry, I was planning to do that, but I forgot while watching the fight." Cyborg's face instantly flushed red. He gave a sheepish smile and didn't retort.

Batman held the spear.

His gaze fell upon Ian, who was still wrestling with Doomsday in the distance.

"Catch, brat."

He snorted coldly, flexed his arm muscles, and violently hurled the spear! The blue spear immediately cut through the air with a whistling sound, flying straight toward Ian.

"Your strength?"

Wonder Woman noticed the abnormality instantly.

Batman didn't answer.

He just stared at the two figures below.

Ian happened to look up and saw the blue spear flying toward him—an offering from the rich Uncle Batman. An obedient little boy would, of course, not refuse or hypocritically decline.

He grabbed the spear.

Then, without hesitation, he put it in his mouth.

"Crunch."

He instinctively bit down hard a few times, but couldn't bite through the metal securing the Blue Kryptonite at the top of the spear—this thing was ridiculously hard. Ian truly used his super bite force.

It made sense when you thought about it.

It was something meant to be used against Superman, so it was reasonable for the metal to be high quality. Of course, despite failing to prove his teeth were strong enough, Ian couldn't bear to spit it out.

[Entropy Extinction Lord Experience +41]

[Savage Tyrant Experience +2]

[Entropy Extinction Lord Experience +49]

[Entropy Extinction Lord Experience +43]

...

The Blue Kryptonite tasted good, too, like a blend of Ban Lan Gen (Isatis root) boiled with an obsidian tombstone. More importantly, it provided a lot of experience. Ian treated it like a lollipop and sucked on it voraciously.

[Entropy Extinction Lord Experience +31]

[Entropy Extinction Lord Experience +29]

[Entropy Extinction Lord Experience +23]

...

While eating the "lollipop," Ian didn't forget to continue sucking energy from Doomsday's body with his nose. As is well known, the nose and mouth are connected facial organs.

Sucking through one and biting through the other formed a perfect dual stream of experience gain.

Ian had achieved another win-win situation.

[Berserker Experience +7]

[Berserker Experience +3]

[Berserker Experience +5]

Perhaps it was a triple win?

Although Ian had gotten used to the damage to his body, Doomsday was continuously evolving. The evolved Doomsday could, of course, inflict different types of trauma upon him.

As long as it evolved once.

Doomsday tearing at Ian could grant him experience for the [Berserker] profession.

He was ecstatic.

However, this scene completely stunned the people in the sky. The founding members of the Justice League seemed to have all turned to stone, staring at the ground with utterly blank expressions.

"Did... did he think you were giving him candy?" Green Lantern Hal Jordan's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. "Is he really a savage? Doesn't he know that's a weapon?!"

Green Lantern truly hadn't expected there to be someone in this world with a wilder imagination than his own.

"What savage? Bullshit savage. He's Clark's son." Batman was completely bewildered by the wind. He, of course, dared to expose what others wouldn't.

His voice sounded like it was squeezed out from between his teeth, full of exasperation.

Ian's reaction.

Had somewhat exceeded Batman's prediction.

He knew Ian had pica, so he had smeared some chemically synthesized, stomach-churning substances on the spear. Yet, the little brat still accepted it and put it in his mouth without question.

Did this kid have the palate of a normal person?

Since Ian's new profession was new and he hadn't collected any behavioral data on it, Batman was once again hit by the shockwave of the Metropolis boy's actions.

Of course.

The one suffering the worst shockwave was Green Lantern Hal Jordan. He heard Batman's revelation and felt struck by lightning, his mind constantly flashing back to Superman's abnormal behavior earlier.

"So that's it! Good heavens, Diana, you knew about this all along, didn't you? But why didn't you tell me just now?" Green Lantern's voice rose several pitches as he turned to Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman shrugged elegantly.

"I respect my friends' privacy."

Her reason was impeccable, leaving Green Lantern with nothing to fault her for.

"Did you know, too?"

Hal then looked at Cyborg.

The mechanical man spread his hands calmly.

"I just checked the population data of Metropolis. Didn't you notice that I stopped speaking ill of him a long time ago?" He looked at Green Lantern with a meaningful expression.

"Don't let Superman catch an opportunity. He's not a big-hearted person. If he catches you later, he'll definitely hit you harder than he hits me. You haven't taken his beating yet, have you?"

Cyborg recalled the Steppenwolf invasion incident.

What happened when Superman was first resurrected still gave him vivid memories. When he slept at night, if he didn't rely on his own Mother Box God to weave beautiful dreams for him, he would still dream of that time.

"..."

Green Lantern felt a chill run down his spine at Cyborg's warning.

He looked at Batman, who silently rubbed his chest. This scene immediately made the clever Green Lantern understand something, and cold sweat started to bead on his forehead.

"Were you the one who was hit the hardest? Okay... I get it." He somewhat wanted to avoid Earth from now on and never return unless absolutely necessary.

"Bruce, why don't you go back and grab a few more Blue Kryptonite spears? I didn't even have time to copy it just now." Green Lantern just wanted to finish the job and return to the cosmos that gave him peace of mind.

"Or maybe we can find some in this ruin? If Luthor really left preventative measures inside?" Cyborg offered his more efficient suggestion.

Only Wonder Woman silently watched Batman.

Indeed.

Her understanding of Batman was second only to Superman. Batman, without saying a word, dragged a jet-black metal box from the Batmobile's weapon bay.

The moment the lid popped open.

The blue glow of the Kryptonite radiation illuminated his face, making him look exactly like a Smurf.

"One for each of you," Batman pulled three spears from the dozens inside and handed them to his teammates—his collection made Green Lantern and Cyborg unsure how to comment.

Was this sufficient precaution against any form of Superman?

"This thing... did you steal it from Luthor's factory?" Wonder Woman also found it hard to imagine why Batman had so much Kryptonite, even from a parallel universe.

Wasn't it enough to just collect one or two of each as a symbolic gesture? Since he had so much Blue Kryptonite, Wonder Woman felt she had likely underestimated Batman's collection of Green Kryptonite.

"Prepare for battle."

Batman completely ignored his teammates' questions.

Just as Superman had said in Gotham earlier, he had indeed taken quite adequate precautions, but no one had the right to know exactly how much Kryptonite he had collected.

Nor did his teammates need to know if Batman secretly robbed villains at night.

"Seriously, are you guarding against me too?" Green Lantern hovered in mid-air, trying to replicate more spears—he noticed the thing seemed to have an anti-Green Lantern energy design.

Green Lantern was truly speechless.

Cyborg, who had been studied by Batman many times, was used to it.

He didn't even bother testing.

He was just calculating the optimal trajectory for remote spear throwing. After distributing the weapons to his teammates, Batman locked the weapon bay and stuffed it back into his Batmobile.

"What about you? Why didn't you prepare one for yourself?" Wonder Woman frowned, looking at the empty-handed Batman. She only realized something was wrong.

"Perhaps Bruce wants to be the bait himself, helping us draw Doomsday's fire?" Cyborg was a bit moved, and Green Lantern, who had been annoyed earlier, was also about to be moved.

However.

In the next moment, they saw Batman open another weapon bay. The man directly pulled out an incredibly exaggerated heavy cannon from the bay.

"Kent's freak is already attracting enough fire. We just need to deal with the other Doomsday." Batman adjusted the heavy cannon in his hand.

It was heavy, full of machinery.

The barrel was thicker than many tank barrels. It was engraved with complex symbols, as if Batman had even had a magician enchant it. It was loaded with high-density Blue Kryptonite ammunition.

"????"

"??????"

"???????"

The three distinct faces of the Justice League members were all plastered with the same question marks, each one more intense than the last. They were truly shocked by Batman's move.

Holy crap, a heavy cannon.

Was this something that Batman, who preferred cold weapons, should be pulling out?

Cyborg scanned the cannon's data, his mechanical eye flashing wildly: "The recoil of this thing could shatter an ordinary person's bones, Bruce. You can't handle this."

He wanted Batman to let him play with the cannon.

But Batman didn't fall for it.

"The best gear is naturally for myself. Don't worry about me. Everyone knows how painful it is to be hit by that thing. I don't have the cockroach-like life of you guys."

He said this, then proceeded to set up the cannon in mid-air. His reasoning made sense to the others. After all, if Batman were hit hard by Doomsday, he would indeed die quickly.

He was only a mortal body.

He hadn't even undergone mechanical ascension.

On this battlefield, no one knew their own limits better than Batman.

"Fine."

Wonder Woman nodded and immediately swooped down. Green Lantern and Cyborg followed closely behind, armed with sharp spears and firm resolve, finally starting to do what superheroes should do.

Meanwhile.

On the ground.

[Entropy Extinction Lord Experience +23]

[Berserker Experience +7]

The experience continued to grow.

Ian squinted.

Even though he was being brutally hammered by Doomsday, and his body was constantly being injured, he still clung tightly to Doomsday like an unshakeable octopus, a satisfied smile on his face.

"I want to be with you forever!"

He confessed his deep affection to Doomsday.

But Doomsday completely rejected him.

Instead, it tore at Ian's body even harder. Indeed, the one who confesses first always gets hurt more. Understanding this principle, Ian felt his heart solidify once more.

"Stop devouring my energy! I can't take it anymore!" The voice inside Doomsday's body had started to sound pleading, losing the threatening tone from before.

"Then come out yourself! If you come out, I promise not to eat you! Otherwise, you'll just have to wait to scream your throat out!" Ian was still chewing on the uncrackable blue spear, and his nose was continuously drawing in the residual energy inside Doomsday. His experience bar was about to burst, and he was in a state of extreme happiness.

When an Evil God is happy, they naturally want to trick people for fun. This was very Evil God-like. Just as Ian was persuading the soul hiding inside Doomsday to surrender with kind words.

"Don't let them come over!"

Suddenly.

The voice inside Doomsday was filled with fear. It seemed capable of peering at the outside commotion through Doomsday's eyes. Only after its reminder did Ian look up at the quickly approaching heroes.

"How about you come out, and I'll take you and run? Otherwise, if they catch you, they really will eat you! You know about the Batman monster, right? He loves to eat all sorts of weird stuff."

Ian seized the opportunity and immediately resorted to threats and promises.

The other party did not fall for it.

It just roared with even greater urgency.

"No! Stop! Don't let them come! You damn fools! Do you think there's only me in here? You'll release a monster far more terrifying than me!"

"That is the sin of the Outer Universe!"

Ian's soul trembled slightly from the piercing scream inside Doomsday. The other soul was clearly immensely powerful, just not fully recovered. Its words instantly stunned Ian.

The sin of the Outer Universe?

He caught the keyword.

"Hold on! You guys pause! Something's not right!"

Ian quickly shouted up at the Justice League.

He realized the situation was wrong.

The boy had thought this was just Doomsday corrupted by evil energy, but now it sounded like Doomsday's body contained not only an ancient Kryptonian God but also a presence from the Outer Universe that even the Kryptonian ancient God feared?

Ian's mind flashed back to the great adventure he had with Aunt Kara.

"Stop fighting! Go quickly and get my dad from the air force base!" Ian's mind was working fast, but his words were not taken seriously by the Justice League.

Everyone had a reputation.

This was probably Ian's reputation in the eyes of the Justice League.

The heroes all thought Ian was simply trying to hoard his prize.

"Boom! Boom!"

Batman immediately pulled the trigger. His heavy cannon fired, and shells of Kryptonite ammunition sprayed out from the cannon, heading straight for Doomsday's head.

The heavy cannon was indeed fierce.

The bullets poured down like rain.

Each one was bigger than a fist and possessed enough power to tear apart any normal organism. The warheads were also enchanted with an absolute suppression ability against alien Kryptonian species.

Ian's pupils contracted sharply. He immediately spread his four arms, attempting to intercept!

"Don't kill him! There's a monster inside him!!"

His body instantly sprouted eight mimetic spider legs. Coupled with his original two hands and two feet, a total of twelve "hands" waved simultaneously, trying to catch the incoming bullets.

This time.

Ian did look very cool catching the bullets.

But even so—his hands and feet combined weren't enough! Batman's paranoia was severe, and the torrent of fire he directed at Doomsday was equally ferocious.

Even with Ian's spider legs wildly dancing, his whole body blurring into an afterimage as he intercepted the bullets, he was still being held by Doomsday and couldn't intercept all of them.

Ian truly did his best.

He even used his mouth.

[Entropy Extinction Lord Experience +2]

[Entropy Extinction Lord Experience +2]

[Entropy Extinction Lord Experience +2]

...

Kryptonite warheads shattered between his teeth, bitter like concentrated broccoli juice.

At this moment, Ian finally understood why Evil Gods liked to have countless hands and many mouths. Sometimes, he truly felt the helplessness of not having enough limbs.

Of course.

Not enough mouths either.

"Don't shoot it! There really is a monster in its body!" Ian's warning was certainly heard by the heroes, but seeing his appearance only made them more certain that he was trying to protect his food.

"Ah, we're screwed."

Ian, who was being held, couldn't do anything.

He could only watch as countless bullets slammed into Doomsday's head, and three spears from different directions pierced Doomsday's body, directly puncturing the energy core inside.

"ROAR!"

The Blue Kryptonite definitely worked.

Doomsday froze in place, its skin rapidly turning gray and withered. It mechanically lowered its head to look at the Kryptonite weapons stuck in its chest. It stopped struggling as if frozen by time.

Its hands, covered with bone spurs and biological armor, slowly drooped toward the ground.

With dimmed eyes.

It stopped roaring entirely.

"Did we succeed?"

Wonder Woman observed the silent Doomsday as she circled to its front. She reached out and grabbed Ian, trying to pull him off Doomsday's body.

"Time to come down! Child!"

Wonder Woman found she couldn't budge Ian.

At this moment.

The ground finally became quiet again.

The evil energy clouds in the sky were dissipating.

Doomsday's body was motionless, like a statue weathered for a thousand years.

Gray-white cracks covered its purplish skin. Cyborg's scanner emitted a steady "beep-beep" sound, and Green Lantern had let go of his spear, wiping the sweat from his forehead caused by tension.

"It's finally over,"

Hal sighed with relief.

"I suggest we go to that new place in Metropolis—"

He was about to suggest a celebration.

"Shhh!"

Ian suddenly raised a finger, clinging to Doomsday's back like a sloth, his ear pressed tightly against the bony nape of its neck. "Can't you hear it?"

"That old thing is still cursing! He says everyone is going to die..." He was just repeating the words of the ancient Kryptonian God. Hearing this, Wonder Woman's expression abruptly changed.

"What do you mean?"

She urgently pressed for an answer.

"Can't you hear it? That roaring sound—oh, right, you haven't been blessed, so you can't sense those souls." Ian was still clinging to the kneeling Doomsday.

He was a little nervous.

"As far as I know, Doomsday doesn't have a soul."

Cyborg frowned, puzzled by the statement.

"Exactly," Green Lantern shrugged. "The matter is over."

Both were somewhat optimistic, as they had checked Doomsday's condition. Doomsday was turning into an inorganic substance. This ancient biological weapon could not withstand the natural enemy of Kryptonian life.

"Tell us your story, little Kryptonian." Green Lantern also started to help Wonder Woman, but neither of them could pull Ian off Doomsday.

"Stop messing around! I'm collecting intelligence!" Ian was listening intently. The ancient voice had fallen silent. A deep sound, like the breathing of a demon, emanated from inside Doomsday's body.

"There's no intelligence to collect. If you don't come down, I'm going to tell your dad." Wonder Woman was worried that if she left Ian there, she would soon see him chew the Doomsday corpse clean.

"Then you'd better hurry and go..."

Ian hadn't finished his warning.

"Heh."

Doomsday suddenly raised its head.

A strange green light flowed from its eyes.

Hot and terrifying, like two small stars.

"I! Am reborn! Darkness... will never be extinguished!"

A mountain-shattering roar exploded.

The cracks on Doomsday's body suddenly burst with a blinding green light. The gray-white parts peeled away like an eggshell, revealing new skin that was crystal clear like emerald.

Its spine shot up, its chest severely swelled, and the energy core that had been shattered began to regenerate, its color turning a bizarre emerald green—the color of evil energy.

Terrifying evil energy surged.

"This frail body cannot withstand my eternal divine power! However, since you can't even fight against the evil energy I created, this world is destined to be the starting point for the rekindling of my great crusade!" Doomsday spoke in human language, its body continuously changing and expanding. In a flash, it broke through a hundred meters, and its shadow enveloped the entire ruin in darkness.

Green evil energy poured out of its every pore.

Forming a thick, toxic mist.

Killing all vegetation in its path.

Ian was still hanging tightly onto Doomsday's body.

He found that his fierce sucking couldn't absorb any energy anymore.

"Get away!! You ant!" Evil Energy Doomsday let out a deafening roar. The sound wave turned into a tangible shockwave, instantly reducing the surrounding building debris to ashes!

All the superheroes were thrown back almost simultaneously.

Slamming heavily into the ground and ruins.

Ian, however, remained firmly rooted to Doomsday. The problem was that the current Doomsday was too enormous. It was no longer the biological weapon that only knew how to kill.

Instead, it was occupied by a being that had suppressed the ancient Kryptonian God.

"Outer Universe... Dark Titan..."

Ian had already seen the truth. Evil Energy Doomsday pulled him off its body like picking a tick. This Evil Energy Doomsday chose not to crush Ian.

"Get lost! You filth!"

Evil Energy Doomsday directly flung Ian away.

"Swoosh—!"

Ian instantly turned into a meteor, streaking across the sky and disappearing into the distant horizon.

*Rumble*

Batman in the sky continued to pull the trigger. However, the bullets that could defeat Doomsday merely created tiny splashes upon hitting the current Doomsday, like stones dropped into lava.

They quickly dissolved.

Failing to cause even a ripple.

Just as Batman prepared to switch equipment at that time.

"Mortal! Witness true power!" Evil Energy Doomsday's response to Batman was to lift a hand that blotted out the sky. A vortex opened in its palm, shining brightly like a green sun.

"Damn it!"

Batman had no choice.

He could only repeat the old days.

He frantically activated the Batmobile and began evasive maneuvers. However, even though the Batmobile was powerful, Evil Energy Doomsday's body was simply too large.

Its power was also terrifying.

When it clenched its fist.

The air compressed into a sonic boom cloud.

The shockwave flipped the Batmobile two kilometers away.

"Every world is a waiting anvil! The Burning Legion shall forge a new era with fire!" The roar carried a strange rhythm, and the sky cracked with a spiderweb pattern.

A viscous green liquid seeped from the cracks.

The world changed color.

Green thunderclouds boiled and gathered at the giant's roar.

The Justice League had done what they did best.

Before solving a problem, they inevitably made it worse.

"Welcome my rebirth! Hahahah!"

The green evil light spread like a plague, and the entire sky seemed to be dyed into an emerald hell. People in the distant city also noticed something was wrong, staring in horror at the scene.

Screams rose and fell.

Swoosh swoosh swoosh

Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Cyborg, and Batman attacked simultaneously. The Lasso of Truth entangled, energy constructs restrained, plasma cannons bombarded, Kryptonite shrapnel rained down—however, all the attacks that landed on Sargeras merely caused a few sparks, failing to pierce even its outer skin.

"Tickle me?" Sargeras let out a deep laugh, his voice filled with disdain. "Your struggles will only make your deaths more painful!"

His tone was extremely arrogant and cruel.

"Is this guy... really still Doomsday? No! His genes are mutating in an unknown direction!" Cyborg scanned the data in shock, only to find that the energy readings had long exceeded the analysis range.

"I defeated the other soul. This body now belongs to me."

Sargeras lifted his giant palm, and evil energy surged like a tsunami. "I am Sargeras, the Eternal Titan! Your world shall become the kindling for the Burning Legion!"

His roar shook the surrounding space.

A terrifying torrent of evil energy swept forward, instantly submerging the members of the Justice League. Wonder Woman raised her shield, resisting with difficulty, but the shield's surface was already starting to corrode.

"Hold on!"

She gritted her teeth and shouted.

This was an attempt to power-up.

However.

It didn't do much good.

Just as the others were about to collapse.

"BOOM!!!"

A red and blue figure slammed into Sargeras's face like a meteor.

The impact shockwave shattered nearby mountains.

Superman.

He had finally arrived.

"Clark..."

Wonder Woman gasped, looking at the familiar figure.

Sargeras was jolted slightly by the punch.

But then he sneered.

"You finally came, Kryptonian. Last time you and your little brat tricked me. This time, I am reborn. Even if I haven't returned to my peak yet, dealing with you is definitely enough—mortal, you shall know what you have provoked." He clearly remembered his fight with Clark in the broken remnants of a universe before.

This was also why he grabbed Ian and immediately threw him away—he remembered that the little brat was too troublesome, and he didn't want to face that kind of trouble right now.

Superman didn't waste words and charged again.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Fists meeting flesh.

Each collision triggered an earthquake-like shock.

Sargeras's evil energy giant fist slammed down. Superman dodged, and the ground instantly collapsed into a chasm tens of kilometers deep. Superman counter-attacked, his heat vision slicing the opponent's body like a laser.

However, Sargeras's evil energy armor was rapidly regenerating.

"You cannot defeat me, Kryptonian."

Sargeras sneered, punching Superman deep into the ground.

"Clark! I'm coming to help you!" Wonder Woman immediately flew to assist, only to be kicked away by Sargeras's backhand, crashing through several large mountains before stopping.

"Diana!"

Superman climbed out of the ruins, blood at the corner of his mouth. It wasn't an external injury but internal damage. He felt the familiar sensation of being corroded by evil energy again, but he didn't pay it any mind.

"Go find Ian! He's..."

The father seemed more worried about where his little son had been thrown.

However.

Before he could finish his sentence.

"I'm back~ You guys won't believe what treasures I found in the wild. Enhancement potions, and more enhancement potions, and lots and lots of enhancement potions."

"Luthor really does have factories everywhere."

A familiar voice rang out.

Everyone turned to see Ian standing at the edge of the battlefield at some unknown point, a fluorescent potion vial in his mouth and a large pile of bottles and jars in his arms.

"Dad! I've come to help you!"

He grinned.

His eyes suddenly blazed with a golden light.

"Whoosh!"

Under Wonder Woman's horrified gaze, who was starting to wonder if Ian had been mentally controlled, Ian's heat vision did not attack the immensely huge Evil Energy Doomsday.

Instead, it precisely hit Superman's back.

"Urgh—!"

Superman grunted.

But not from sharp pain. On the contrary, an unprecedented power surged from within him. His cells and stamina were instantly restored, and the fatigue from the previous chaotic fight with the clone was completely swept away.

His face was flushed, as if he had consumed a panacea.

"This...?"

Superman clenched his fist, feeling the surging power.

He was astonished.

Wonder Woman and the other superheroes were also baffled.

"What is he doing?"

Green Lantern was dumbfounded.

"Now, I think you guys should know who in Metropolis has the genuinely pure bloodline of the sun, right?" Ian was simultaneously releasing heat vision and continuously chugging the leveling-up drinks.

He was truly drinking the real deal.

Ian was very grateful to Luthor.

It was the generosity of Boss Luthor.

That made the suburbs of Metropolis.

Seem to randomly refresh supply points everywhere.
