The next morning began differently.
As Kiara stepped outside her tent, she immediately noticed the unusual movement across the camp.
Soldiers were marching in organized lines toward the northern perimeter.
She turned her head.
In the distance, a massive blue dome-shaped barrier shimmered in the sunlight.
It stretched across nearly two kilometers of land like a giant shield.
Kiara stared at it silently.
"So it's time."
She walked directly toward Magnus Phoenix's command tent.
Inside, several captains had already gathered around the prince. Maps and reports were spread across the central table while tense discussions filled the air.
Magnus looked up as soon as Kiara entered. "It's good that you're here, Kiara."
His tone carried relief. "I was just about to send someone to wake you."
The captains immediately bowed respectfully.
Kiara returned a small nod.
"How long until the dungeon break?"
Magnus answered honestly. "Approximately one hour."
