Two days later;
Arceus greeted them with a gentle smile.
"Mother."
He then looked toward Armada.
"Lady Armada."
After both women had taken their seats, Arceus remained standing for a moment before speaking.
"I visited the Ministry and checked the Imperial Land Registry yesterday afternoon. Some of the older records were archived separately, so it took longer than expected."
Armada nodded quietly.
"I appreciate Your Lordship's efforts."
Arceus opened one of the registry books.
"I believe I now understand why this inheritance isn't passed down to you."
He turned several pages before placing his finger on an old entry.
"This land…" He slid the book slightly toward them. "It was never originally registered under your late husband's name."
Armada lowered her gaze to the document while Selene leaned in as well.
Arceus continued patiently.
