A few minutes later… he entered the sitting room where Selene quietly waited.
The moment she saw him, she stood.
"Mother. You wished to see me?"
Selene nodded.
"I need you to accompany me somewhere."
Arceus smiled helplessly.
"To another tailor?"
"No. A fortune teller."
The smile instantly froze upon his face.
"A what?"
"A fortune teller."
Arceus rubbed his forehead.
"Mother… you know I don't believe in those things."
"I know." Selene nodded gently. "I don't ask you to believe. I only ask you to accompany me."
Arceus sighed.
"The ministry still has—"
"The ministry can wait one afternoon." She interrupted softly. "This is a mother's request."
Arceus looked at her for several long moments.
Finally… he smiled in defeat.
"You truly know how to use that sentence."
An hour later…
A carriage bearing the crest of House Silver quietly departed the manor… heading toward the House of Heavenly Insight.
