Footsteps gradually approached. Not the hurried steps of prison guards. Measured. Steady.
The cell door slowly opened. Noah stepped inside. Behind him followed an elderly palace official whom Wester recognized almost immediately. The Emperor's most trusted chamberlain.
The old man respectfully bowed.
"Lord Wester."
Wester slowly looked toward Noah.
"Mr. Noah?"
Noah nodded.
"We are here to get you out, Mr. Black Knight..."
