"Arceus!"
The scream tore out of her throat, raw and broken.
She shot forward at full speed. The divine chains connecting her to Scarlett suddenly stretched to their limit and yanked her back violently. Kiara struggled against them like a wild animal, her eyes wide with panic.
"Arceus! Arceus!!"
Scarlett gritted her teeth and pushed herself harder, closing the distance so the chains would loosen. The moment they slackened, Kiara tore forward again.
They landed roughly on the muddy shore.
Kiara didn't even wait for Scarlett. She ran straight into the shallow water toward Arceus' floating body. Her boots splashed violently as she waded deeper, tears blurring her vision.
Standing several meters away on the water's surface, as if gravity meant nothing to him, was the Necromancer King.
