Lord Jason Mallister waved his hand, and the Marksmen of Seaguard had already drawn their Longbows, their arrows first aimed at the scattered, weary Frey Family soldiers at both ends of the arch bridge.
These soldiers wore blue steel ring mail and silver-grey cloaks.
Most of them still held torches; the cold night was long, and the soldiers were waiting for a change of guard, which was their most relaxed moment.
"Whoosh!" "Whoosh!" Arrows broke the darkness's silence, and then the torch-wielding Frey soldiers silently fell to the ground, as if asleep.

Ropes with grappling hooks were thrown onto the long bridge, and agile taxi soldiers quickly scaled the arch bridge, then the soldiers threw down more ropes.
Lord Jason Mallister, with his indigo-robed Seaguard soldiers, charged directly to the River Gate Tower's portcullis, like an eagle spreading its wings.
The soldiers fanned out, with the rest charging towards the inner gates leading to both sides of the arch bridge, and Lord Jason Mallister personally took control of the River Gate Tower.
"Enemy attack!" The Frey Family soldiers on the River Gate Tower only saw all the torches on the arch bridge slowly extinguish, and their drowsy sleepiness instantly vanished.
The sentry then saw a large shadow appear, and even though he was exhausted, he understood: this was an enemy night raid.
But it was already too late, because the portcullis was still open for the soldiers to change shifts.
