"Kill!" The Knights, already eager for battle, made their steeds gallop; amidst the desolate and high-pitched sound of war horns, the Knights, following Gendry, leaped out from the dense forest and hills of West River Keep in the Twins.
"Whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo!" The chilling sound of war horns spread from the dense forest, followed by the hurried thud of hooves, and a torrent of steel rushed towards the Twins.
The cold night had not yet ended, and the war made this night exceptionally long.
"long live the storm!"
"the liberator!"
The Gold Cloaks Knights took the lead, charging directly towards the drawbridge of the West River of the Twins.
The walls of the Twins certainly had various defenses, but long-term guarding had made these people somewhat lax, not to mention the trebuchets and several volleys of arrows had already disoriented them; the Twins seemed to have enemies everywhere.
"the liberator has come!" Bluebeard laughed heartily, then had his subordinates gather in the passage, protecting the passage with round shields and Longspear formations.
Gendry spurred his black steed, followed closely by Ser Barristan and Anguy.
The defenders on the wall were somewhat disoriented by several rounds of attacks, but they finally understood the massive scale of the enemy attack.
One or two arrows occasionally grazed Gendry, but he wore heavy armor and moved swiftly; these arrows or rolling stones did not affect him in the slightest.
Braving the intense battle, Gendry finally charged into the passage of the Twins.
"Move aside! Move aside!" Gendry shouted, and Bluebeard understood immediately.
The Twins taxi soldiers were hastily attempting to ram the gate-guarding Bluebeard with cavalry, but found that Bluebeard and his men's formation suddenly scattered, followed by rolling hooves charging into the Twins.
Several Frey Family cavalry in silver-grey robes only saw a tall Knight, clad in black scale plate armor, wielding a warhammer, and draped in a golden cloak, burst out of the passage.
On the Knight's helmet were a leaping stag and Three Dragons, like proud, independent, forked giant horns, resembling a giant horned god bringing countless slaughters.
"Bang!"
"Bang!" Gendry's whistling warhammer performed no flashy theatrics, only precise, powerful blows.
Under the direct impact of the warhammer, several unlucky Frey Family Knights fell, their warhorses whinnying in agony, and the Knights either had their skulls shattered or their hearts and lungs severely crushed; none survived.
"The Mountain! It's the Mountain!" The Frey Family taxi soldiers shouted.
"Nonsense, it's King Robert! Don't you see the stag?"
"Ridiculous, there's also the Three Dragons!"
"Kill!" More and more Gold Cloaks Knights charged in, like an endless stream of water.
"This is bad!" Hosdton Frey, in charge of guarding West Keep, was greatly alarmed.
The Frey Family Knights around him couldn't help but retreat a little.
Those Gold Cloaks cavalry, like howling demons, broke through the passage and scattered within the Twins.
Some cavalry dismounted and began to charge up the city walls to control the high ground, while more Gold Cloaks, led by the giant-horned Knight, were unstoppable.
Hosdton looked at the Gold Cloaks; gold was the Baratheon color, but the emblem behind it was not simply a stag.
Hosdton's heart was filled with fear, and he finally understood who the newcomers were.
"It's the Bastard!"
"Longspear formation! Longspear formation!" Hosdton shouted, telling the taxi soldiers outside the gate to retreat a little, then form a Longspear array.
"Quickly go call Black Walder!"
The Frey Family taxi soldiers hastily formed columns, wearing blue ring mail with silver-grey cloaks, attempting to slowly arrange themselves into a formation.
Hosdton's vision went black, only to see the tall Knight suddenly dismount, followed by some Gold Cloaks also dismounting and charging towards the Longspear formation.
Bluebeard even joined the battlefield with his Mercenaries.
While their formation was not yet fully set, they held not Longspears, but strange arakhs.
"Hey!" Longspears extended like a forest.
Gendry roared, his warhammer now replaced by an arakh; there was no sharper weapon in the world.
The arakh flashed with a sharp, cold light, and Longspear heads fell in response.
The hastily formed spear array was not ready, and the formation was not thick enough.
Gendry gripped his long blade tightly, and half of a spearman's body was directly sliced open.
This bloody scene terrified the Frey Family taxi soldiers.
"Surrender and live, only the Freys will be executed!" Gendry shouted, he was like a whirlwind of death, his arakh unstoppable.
He was extremely tall and strong, appearing like a god devouring life in the crowd, carving out a huge gap.
The Frey soldiers originally had the will to fight, but now they could only drop their weapons.
The arakh swung continuously in the air like a crescent moon, a black shadow.
Wherever the giant-horned Knight passed, the Frey taxi soldiers fell to the ground, either their heads rolling or their upper bodies separated.
Before absolute strength and speed, the Frey Family taxi soldiers had completely lost their courage.
"Flank! Flank!" Ser Barristan shouted, and the other Knights scattered, taking advantage of the chaos to quickly sweep behind Hosdton.
Hosdton's Longspear formation was like a lonely boat in a vast ocean, overwhelmed by the surging waves, and the Frey Family infantry fell to the ground one after another.
The other men, seeing the warrior descend, immediately dropped their weapons and knelt on the ground.
"Surrender!"
"We surrender!"
The gate of West River Keep had been completely breached, all gates were open, and more and more Knights poured in, sharing the spoils of victory.
