When we arrived at the inn, I gathered all the girls in the room. We told the two who had stayed behind at the inn what had happened during our little expedition.
"If Rick almost died, why is he still smiling?" Diane asked.
"It's because today's defeat will lead to our victory tomorrow," I said confidently.
"Rick, there's nothing wrong with being confident," Erina said with a hesitant expression, "but your confidence needs to have some basis in reality. How exactly do you plan to defeat an army of those monsters?"
"I'm glad you asked, Erina." I then addressed the five girls in the room. "I ask you this: what are the biggest problems in this mission of ours?"
