My mind was hazy, as if I had been thrown into a deep sleep. After activating Berserk Wolf, my brain had shut down. My consciousness felt like it was sinking deeper and deeper into the ocean, being dragged further into the abyss.
'Rick! Rick!' A voice called my name. I recognized that voice as Sarah's.
'Rick, wake up!' her voice called out to me, filled with nervousness.
Sarah wouldn't stop calling me, no matter what. Maybe it was because of that persistence that my eyelids finally opened.
When I opened my eyes, I was lying in a bed, and a girl was right in front of me. After so many days of always waking up with a woman by my side, I had kind of gotten used to this kind of situation.
What I found really strange was who was sleeping with me. It wasn't the woman who had been desperately calling my name.
