Her claw went flying from my strike. The creature's purple blood gushed from the cut I had made. Time seemed to move more slowly than before, and now that I was so close to her, I had to go in for a second attack.
The Queen Bee, her wings spread wide, retreated upwards just as my second Thunderblade was about to cut through her neck.
"Ugh!" the monster screamed as she hovered three meters above the ground. Although she had escaped death, I had still managed to cut off part of her right leg.
"Two limbs out, three more to go," I said in a calm, cold tone.
The Queen Bee furrowed her brows at me. Her face was a mix of rage and disgust.
"I will not lose to a mere human. Do you know what I had to do to get where I am? I survived the destruction of my dungeon and built my own hive. A mere Swordsman will not be the one to defeat me!"
"I think you misunderstood. I'm not a Swordsman. I'm a Valkyrie Tamer."
