Drake Arrives at the Mist Battlefield!**
Drake had once awakened the back mountain.
He had infused it with two core intents:
Life
Protection
At the time, the mountain was still confused and dormant, so Drake ignored it afterward.
But now—
The jujube tree had been threatened.
And it had called for help.
If Drake knew about this, he would've summed it up in four words:
Mountains, stones, and trees.
Stone could communicate with trees.
RUMBLE—
Boulders cascaded down toward the Seven Ninja Swordsmen.
"The hell—this mountain is alive!"
Biwako Jūzō shouted.
"The rocks are coming down!"
Kisame warned.
"Jinpachi!"
"I know!"
Jinpachi swung the Explosive Blade—
BOOM!
The boulder detonated.
Shockwaves blasted outward; debris flew everywhere.
"All of us took damage!"
"We need to break out—now!"
"Stand back."
Jinpachi swung again.
BOOM!
A massive hole appeared in the stone wall.
"Again!"
They couldn't stay boxed in.
After several blasts—
CRASH.
The wall collapsed.
They escaped and jumped away, staring up at the mountain.
Suddenly—
RUMBLE—
The ground shook violently.
"This… has to be a joke."
"The mountain is retaliating!"
"Run!"
Four of them reacted too slowly.
The other three bolted without hesitation.
The mountain tilted—
Then collapsed downward.
BOOOOOOM!!!
Konoha's back mountain fell.
The shockwave launched the Hokage Tower upward before smashing it back down.
Hiruzen Sarutobi crawled from the rubble, dazed.
"The back mountain collapsed!"
"No—it didn't collapse, it fell over."
"…Is that really any different?"
At the stream—
Guy, Genma, and Ebisu were hugging the jujube tree.
"You saved us! Please come live with me!"
Guy said earnestly.
Rustle.
The leaves moved—but Guy didn't understand.
"We can train together every day!"
WHAM.
Guy was flung away by vines.
"My home has soft soil and fertilizer—"
Splash.
Genma was tossed into the stream.
All three failed.
As Guy walked away, he felt the tree was familiar.
Then he passed Drake's yard.
SLAP.
"That's Drake's jujube tree!"
Inside the village—
Biwako Jūzō, Kisame, and Raiga fled desperately.
"Didn't even reach the village and lost four people to a mountain,"
Jūzō gasped.
"A shame about Jinpachi,"
Kisame sighed.
"We'd all be dead without his blade."
"Konoha is terrifying,"
Raiga thought grimly.
I need an escape plan.
Suddenly—
A man appeared.
"You're Mist ninja."
Might Duy stood before them.
"…Konoha ninja?"
"You're here, so my son must be dead!"
His aura exploded with green chakra.
"Then I'll kill you all!"
"…I knew it," Jūzō cursed.
"Another monster."
Raiga turned and ran.
The others followed instantly.
"Huh?"
Might Duy scratched his head.
"I'm already this strong?"
Mist Battlefield
A giant black gate descended from the sky.
Uchiha Fugaku arrived with his forces.
Drake and Obito landed alongside.
"What kind of ninja tool is that?"
Minato asked in amazement.
"Flying artifact,"
Fugaku replied.
Then—
"Drake!"
Seeing him, Minato finally relaxed.
With Drake here—
Everything was under control.
