However, just as Regirock finished charging and fired the Hyper Beam, Lucario conjured a deep blue Aura Sphere in his hands and launched it! The blue Aura Sphere collided with the powerful golden beam of destruction!
To everyone's surprise, it wasn't even a contest. The imposing Hyper Beam didn't even last a second! It was instantly suppressed by the Aura Sphere, which then slammed hard into Regirock, blasting it away! Seizing the opportunity, Lucario told everyone to leave immediately! They were already close to the Tree of Beginning!

Far away in an unknown location, Kidd's partner, Banks, began operating the computer.
While Ash and the others looked for Pikachu above, Banks began analyzing the entirety of the Tree! This entire tree survived by absorbing light energy and had lived for at least ten thousand years! It was a miracle of the human world!
However, just as the investigation machines extracted a small sample from the Tree, the blue crystals throughout the Tree's body suddenly turned orange! They directly swallowed the machines! Banks looked at the warning messages filling the screen and suddenly felt that things were turning for the worse.
Meanwhile, Ash and Lucario led the way deeper into the Tree. According to Lucario's Aura detection, Pikachu was at the very top of the Tree of Beginning! Ash began calling out for Pikachu from the very bottom!
Theoretically, Ash's voice shouldn't have been able to reach that far. But... he was calling for Pikachu! The Pikachu with whom he shared an incredibly deep bond!
Amidst the shouts, Pikachu seemed to hear Ash's voice in his heart! He also ran out and shouted loudly toward the bottom of the Tree.
"Pika-pi!!!" The voice echoed throughout the Tree of Beginning. Theoretically, Ash, at the bottom, still shouldn't have been able to hear it. However, that was only theoretical! Ash actually heard—or rather, felt—Pikachu calling him!
