The Red Genesect's eyes flash with a dangerous red light! Immediately after, the other four purple Genesect form a defensive line right beside it.
The modified drive cannons mounted on their heads slowly begin to charge up! Because each Genesect carries a completely different drive item on its back, the incoming Techno Blasts possess five distinct elemental attributes!
Mewtwo's eyes widen as it swiftly retreats dozens of meters just as the five cannons fire simultaneously! Ice, Water, Fire, Electric, and Normal energies merge into a singular, devastating beam! Even an entity as powerful as Mewtwo chooses to avoid a direct impact!

A massive explosion echoes across the terrain, causing the entire ice mountain to shed a heavy layer of snow. Ignoring the rising smoke, the five Genesect instantly shift back into their high-speed flight forms and soar into the endless sky.
As the smoke slowly clears, Mewtwo lowers its arms, and the glowing purple barrier protecting its front gradually dissolves.
After years of growth and isolation, its power has firmly reached the tier of a high-ranking legendary entity. Although the coordinated attack was powerful, it was completely incapable of shattering its psychic guard.

The scene shifts back to Ash's position. Ash and his friends have arrived at Pokémon Hills, enjoying the beautiful scenery.
They release their active teams to let them run around and play freely. Ash and Pikachu wander away from the main group, eventually arriving beside a peaceful indoor river.
The vibrant flowers growing along the water catch Ash's eye, and Pikachu is equally drawn to the view.
Suddenly, Pikachu's ears twitch, sensing an unfamiliar presence nearby. Looking toward the side of the bank, he spots a purple, metallic insect-like Pokémon sitting in a completely isolated posture.
The two Pokémon stare at each other for a few seconds before Genesect suddenly panics, shrinking its body down into a round, protective disc shape.
Pikachu is startled and quickly sprints over to investigate. Seeing Pikachu's sudden movement, Ash follows close behind, coming face-to-face with the completely motionless Genesect.
Through Pikachu's frantic gesturing and pointing, Ash realizes that this strange object is actually a living Pokémon.

Ash lightly taps his finger against Genesect's metallic armor, producing a clear, metallic sound. Is this heavily armored, robotic entity seriously a living creature? Curiously, Ash steps onto the shell, and without warning, Genesect suddenly activates!
It begins gliding across the surface of the water at incredible speed! Fortunately, the balance of a super-human newcomer is the real deal; Ash barely manages to keep his footing on the moving shell, even calling Pikachu to jump aboard and join the ride!
After a brief period of playing around, Ash, Pikachu, and Genesect return safely to the shore. Immediately after, Genesect returns to its isolated demeanor.
Ash gently asks Genesect what is wrong, and through its basic responses, he learns that it simply wants to go home. At that moment, Iris and Cilan catch up with him. After listening to the explanation, both of them readily agree to help the lost creature find its way back. But...
"Ash, do you actually know where this Pokémon's home is located?"
"I have no idea!"
Facing Ash's completely confident response, his two companions almost trip over themselves. How can you promise to guide someone home with such absolute certainty when you don't even know where you are going?!

Ash assumes the Genesect was simply separated from its family. He happily extends a hand to gently pet the Douse Drive Genesect, but the Red Genesect spots the gesture and immediately interprets it as an aggressive attack on its pack member! It instantly classifies Ash as an active threat.
Waving its heavy claw, a vibrant green energy wave erupts from its fingertips! The Bug-type move—Signal Beam!

A massive explosion rocks the bank. Ash looks down at the smoking crater right in front of his feet with a racing heart. Fortunately, his physical reflexes saved him just in time, otherwise he would have been knocked flat for a good few seconds before getting back up!
"What was that for? Why did you attack out of nowhere?!"
The Red Genesect completely ignores Ash's complaints, raising its arm once more as green energy begins to condense around its claws. Ash's expression hardens.
"You aren't willing to listen, are you...? Pikachu, Thunderbolt!"
"Pika-CHUU!!"
The brilliant golden lightning collides directly with the emerald green energy beam, neutralizing the forces mid-air. Seeing the clash, the normal purple Genesect standing beside the leader joins the fray, launching a coordinated strike against Ash.
Pikachu unleashes his electrical power once more to hold the line, but facing the combined output of two mythical threats, even the premier electric mouse begins to lose ground. The green Signal Beam slowly overpowers the golden lightning!
Just as the beam is about to breach Pikachu's defense and strike him down, a torrential wave of crimson fire cuts straight through the middle of the field, violently detonating the opposing energies!
Pikachu is thrown backward by the shockwave, but an orange-red silhouette swoops down from the sky, catching him flawlessly before he hits the ground.
"Charizard!"
The arrival is none other than Ash's primary powerhouse! It had raced over the moment it picked up the sounds of battle, arriving just in time to see its companion under fire.
It immediately deployed a Flamethrower to intercept the threat. Fortunately, Pikachu only absorbed the secondary shockwave of the explosion and sustained no real damage.
"What are you trying to accomplish?! Why are you targeting us for no reason?!" Ash demands, trying to reason with the mechanical entities once more.
But the leading Red Genesect completely dismisses his words, preparing to launch another offensive cycle. Suddenly, the Douse Drive Genesect that had been playing with Ash moments ago steps directly between its leader and the humans, shaking its head frantically to stop the attack.
"What are you doing?" the Red Genesect demands through telepathy.
The purple insect with the blue drive continues to shake its head, trying to defend the humans.
"These humans are the enemy. Eliminate them all!" the leader commands.
The Genesect protecting Ash refuses to step aside. However... the moment a deep red light flashes within the Red leader's eyes, the eyes of the Douse Drive Genesect flash with the exact same ominous light!
Under this absolute command override, its body tenses against its own will, and its primary drive cannon slowly begins to track toward Ash and his friends!
Even though it tries to physically resist the control, the flashing red light in the leader's gaze completely locks down its motor functions. The tip of its cannon begins to glow with a bright blue energy!
"Hey... are you serious? This can't be happening!"
Ash looks on in disbelief as the Pokémon that was happily playing with him a moment ago points its primary weapon straight at his chest!
"Ash, that Pokémon is being completely controlled by the red leader!" Cilan notes, keenly spotting the synchronized red light flashing within their eyes.
He immediately deduces the situation of their friend. It isn't acting out of its own free will; it is being entirely overridden by the pack leader!
"Enemy... target... eliminate..."
After uttering those fractured words through telepathy, the drive cannon on its back fully primes its energy. Ash grits his teeth, reluctantly issuing a defensive order.
"Charizard, use Flamethrower to block the path!"
"Pikachu, target the red leader behind them with Thunderbolt!"
"Roar!"
"Pika!"
Brilliant golden and fiery crimson energies begin to manifest on the bodies of the two partners. Meanwhile, the Red Genesect and its purple companion are not idle; they deploy their own shoulder cannons, preparing to deliver a devastating synchronized blast to wipe out the area!
At that exact microsecond, time seems to grind to a complete halt! An immense, overwhelming psychic pressure suddenly binds Charizard and Pikachu, freezing their movements entirely and preventing them from releasing their primed elements!
At the same time, a white-and-purple silhouette materializes right in front of Ash and his friends, deploying a massive, glowing purple barrier!
Everything unfolds in the blink of an eye. By the time Charizard and Pikachu realize they have been physically restricted, a deafening explosion rocks the indoor facility! A massive cloud of dense smoke completely covers the entire venue, hiding everyone from sight.
Believing that Charizard, Pikachu, and the humans have been completely taken out by the blast, the Red leader issues a clean departure order, shifting back into flight mode and leaving the area alongside the other two insects.
Under the cover of the heavy smoke, a deep crater had been blasted into the flooring. Ash, Iris, Cilan, Pikachu, and Charizard had all been smoothly teleported into the subterranean sewer network directly beneath the facility.
At this moment, the three humans and two Pokémon are staring directly at the individual who pulled them out of harm's way.
"Are you... Mewtwo?" Ash asks, his voice carrying a hint of uncertainty.
This Pokémon looks remarkably similar to the Mewtwo he remembers, yet there are several distinct differences in its overall design.
Could it be a relative or sibling of the original Mewtwo? Just as Ash is processing the thought, the entity is enveloped in a bright flash of light, shifting its physical form completely back to its baseline appearance.
Long time no see, Ash, Pikachu... and Charizard.
It was indeed Mewtwo! It had intervened just in time to freeze the attack vectors and transfer Ash's group safely into the underground tunnels.
