Fury didn't answer immediately.

He kept staring at the hologram, then slowly dismissed it with a gesture. The room dimmed slightly as the display shut down.

"I don't know," Fury said at last. "As the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., I want him. His tech, his mind, his reach—he's already operating at a level most nations can't touch."

Maria crossed her arms.

"And as a person?"

Fury's jaw tightened.

"As a person, I want to honor his mother's wishes. She wanted him far away from this world. Away from battles, secrets, and body counts."

He turned to face Maria.

"That's not something I can ignore."

"So you're leaving it to him," Maria said.

"Yes," Fury replied. "No manipulation. No pressure. Just a choice."

He paused.

"But make no mistake—if Ethan steps into this world on his own, we won't hold him back either."

Maria nodded slowly.

" Its an good decision, he is already adult and can make his own choices."

Next Day – Cliff Mansion

"Coulson?" Ethan asked, raising an eyebrow as he saw him standing in the hall. "What brought you here today? And unannounced, no less."

"There are a few things I wanted to talk about," Coulson replied calmly.

Ethan studied him for a moment, then gestured toward the table.

"Alright. What is it?"

Coulson placed a tablet on the table. Ethan picked it up and glanced at the screen.

"We call it the Avengers Initiative," Coulson said.

The tablet lit up, displaying files—Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff, Clint Barton, Bruce Banner. Names, photos, and brief summaries scrolled past.

Ethan's eyes narrowed slightly.

"So," he said, "why are you showing me this?"

Coulson studied him for a moment before asking,

"Ethan, do you think we are alone in the universe?"

Ethan shrugged lightly.

"No. It would be wrong to assume that. There are countless worlds out there. At least a few of them must have life similar to ours."

"You're right," Coulson said. "And we've already had visitors."

Ethan looked at him more seriously.

"Even I was baffled when I first learned about it," Coulson continued. He took the tablet back from Ethan, tapped the screen, and turned it so Ethan could see.

A new profile appeared.

Carol Danvers.

"Back when Director Fury was just a field agent," Coulson said, "he met her. And through her, he learned about two major alien races."

The screen shifted again.

"Kree and Skrulls," Coulson explained. "The Kree are a war-focused race—conquerors. The Skrulls are one of many races they hunted. Their homeworld was taken by the Kree, forcing them to scatter."

"And some of those Skrulls came to Earth," Coulson continued. "They hid here."

Ethan raised an eyebrow, acting mildly surprised.

"So there are aliens living on our world?"

"Yes," Coulson said. "That's exactly why Fury started to worry. If the Kree discover Earth, there's a real chance they'll try to conquer it too."

He locked the tablet and set it down.

"The Avengers Initiative was his response," Coulson said firmly.

"A team made up of highly capable individuals—people who can protect humanity when normal defenses aren't enough."

Coulson met Ethan's eyes.

"And that's why I want you to be part of it too."

Ethan looked at Coulson and slowly sat back in his chair.

"I don't know," he said. "That's a lot of attention. More than I'd like."

Coulson nodded, understanding.

"I figured you'd say that. But this is a serious responsibility. If I didn't think you were fit for it, I wouldn't have recommended you."

Ethan was quiet for a moment, then sighed.

"Give me some time. I'll think about it."

Coulson smiled slightly.

"Take all the time you need. It's not like we have an alien invasion scheduled for tomorrow."

He then changed the topic and placed another image on the table—photos of Black Widow and Hawkeye.

"Now, the real reason I'm here," Coulson said. "I'd like you to make suits for them."

Ethan glanced at the images and nodded.

"I saw her with Pepper. Tony's secretary."

Coulson nodded in return.

"We were monitoring Tony. When his life was in danger, she was assigned to him."

"Alright," Ethan said. "I can make suits—but not something overpowered."

"That's fine," Coulson replied. "Just make them bulletproof. Something that helps them survive in most locations and situations."

"That can be done," Ethan said easily. "Anything else?"

"Yes," Coulson added. "Weapons too."

Ethan rolled his eyes.

"And what else, Your Majesty?" he asked sarcastically.

Coulson chuckled.

"Don't worry. I won't ask for more."

He paused, then added carefully,

"Though I was wondering… would Storm and Violet be interested in joining the Avengers as well? They're more than capable."

Ethan didn't answer right away.

"I'll talk to them," he finally said. "No promises."

"That's all I can ask," Coulson said, standing up. "Thanks, Ethan."

As Coulson turned to leave, Ethan leaned back in his chair again, staring at the tablet.

"Avengers, huh…" he muttered.

There was no image of Captain America or Thor in the files.

That means they still haven't found Captain… and Thor won't be visiting Earth until next year anyway, Ethan thought.

He stood up and headed down into his basement.

The lights turned on automatically, revealing rows of advanced equipment, holographic displays, and sealed workstations.

"Anyway," Ethan muttered, stretching his arms, "time for my monthly gacha."

A holographic wheel appeared in front of him, glowing with shifting symbols and unknown rewards. Ethan placed his hand on the interface and spun it.

"Please give me something cool," he said quietly.

The wheel spun faster and faster, symbols blurring together—then slowly began to stop.

Click.Click.Click.

It landed on a medallion-shaped object, metallic and unfamiliar, floating gently in the air.

"Huh?" Ethan frowned. "What is this?"

A translucent information panel appeared in front of him.
