Ethan stepped into the hall, and the doors closed quietly behind him.

The music shifted slightly, becoming steadier. Conversations paused for a moment.

Then the room reacted.

Applause spread across the hall. People raised their glasses. Some nodded respectfully—not because they were told to, but because they understood what this moment meant. This wasn't just a celebration of a building. It marked the completion of a long-term plan that had taken years of work and sacrifice.

Ethan didn't wave or make a dramatic entrance. He simply walked forward.

That alone drew attention.

Executives straightened as he passed. Engineers who had worked nonstop on the tower watched him with pride. Researchers, architects, and security leaders—groups that rarely mixed—stood together, sharing the same sense of accomplishment.

Sharon walked slightly behind him, scanning the room out of habit. Even so, she allowed herself a small smile as she took in the scene.

Servers moved efficiently through the crowd, offering drinks. Ethan accepted a glass but didn't drink yet.

A raised platform stood at the center of the hall. Without being directed, people gradually turned toward it. The music softened.

Ethan stopped and faced the crowd.

"For years," he said calmly, his voice carrying across the hall, "Arasaka has been known for breaking the norm."

The room went quiet.

"Power. Reach. Influence," he continued. " We continued to do many things that what others thought was impossible."

Some people nodded.

"This tower isn't a monument," he said, glancing upward. "It's another miracle by Arasaka, we have created the tallest building in the world and no one can break this record without our help."

He raised his glass slightly.

"You're the ones who built this."

" Arasaka Tower is now complete with it mark the new beginning"

" We will grow even more stronger and better and we will be number 1 in the world, that is Arasaka, I won't tolerate anything below top rank"

Everyone nodded as they all cheered " We will be the Greatest!!"

Ethan smiled as he looked at all of them.

' Sharon speech is bit cringy for my taste but I guess this suits better here' Ethan thought as he mentally removed the speech from his sight.

That was enough.

Cheers filled the hall. The music grew louder, and the mood shifted quickly from formal to relaxed.

The celebration properly began.

The lighting warmed. Conversations turned lively. People laughed, toasted, and talked freely. Near the gardens, glass panels slid open, letting fresh air in as small groups gathered and danced.

Ethan moved through the hall, speaking with different teams. He discussed structural details with engineers, ethics and safety with researchers, and security systems with department heads. He listened more than he spoke.

Everyone came away with the same impression.

He wasn't showing off ownership.

He was taking responsibility.

Later, Ethan stepped onto a balcony overlooking the city. The lights below stretched as far as the eye could see, reflecting off nearby buildings.

Sharon joined him and handed him another drink.

"Having fun?" she asked.

Ethan took a sip, still looking out over the city.

"I am," he said, nodding slightly as he looked down at the vast stretch of lights below.

"How is the purchasing around my mansion going?" he asked.

"It's progressing steadily," Sharon replied. "We'll soon acquire the remaining nearby properties and expand your estate."

She paused, then asked, "But aren't you planning to live here?"

Ethan shook his head.

"It's fine for occasional visits, but not as a permanent residence," he said. "I'll keep this place as the company headquarters. That's more than enough."

Sharon nodded in agreement.

"What about the Arasaka Towers in other countries?" Ethan asked next.

"All international towers are nearing completion," she replied. "As per your instructions, the top floors are identical. The sky gardens were built the same way in each tower."

Ethan nodded again. The sky gardens were his idea—entire floors designed as miniature forests integrated into the building structure. Just like in Cyberpunk game.

"After the towers are finished, we'll move on to the plazas," Ethan said. "The buildings for high-end guests."

"The land for all of them has already been purchased," Sharon replied. "Construction teams are standing by."

Ethan smiled faintly.

Arasaka's reach now extended across multiple countries. In several of them, the company had already entered the top three in annual economic impact rankings. Governments negotiated carefully. Markets adjusted around Arasaka's presence.

Ethan's smile didn't change, but his thoughts were clear.

For him, this was about being untouchable.

If he wanted to live freely—without answering to anyone, without looking over his shoulder—then he had to stand at a level where no one could afford to move against him. Power wasn't a luxury. It was insurance.

He took another sip and spoke calmly.

"Once the plazas are finished, begin phase three," Ethan said.

Sharon turned slightly toward him. "Global integration?"

"Yes," he replied. "Security, logistics, finance—everything unified. I don't want separate branches thinking independently."

She nodded. "That will put pressure on local governments."

"They'll adjust," Ethan said simply. "They always do."

Below them, traffic flowed like veins of light through the city. Above them, the tower stood silent and complete.

"Any resistance?" he asked.

"Nothing serious," Sharon answered. "Some regulators are nervous. A few corporations are already pulling back."

Ethan let out a quiet breath, almost amused.

"They're afraid of being irrelevant," he said. "That's fine. Fear keeps people predictable."

Sharon studied him for a moment. "And if someone decides not to be predictable?"

Ethan finally turned to look at her.

"Then they've already lost," he said. "Because by the time they act, I'll be too big to stop."

The music from the hall drifted onto the balcony again. Laughter. Celebration.

Ethan set his glass down on the balcony railing and straightened his jacket.

"Let them enjoy tonight," he said. "Tomorrow, we continue."

Sharon gave a short nod.

Behind them, the party carried on for hours. Music played, laughter echoed through the hall, and celebrations continued well into the night. One by one, guests began to leave. Executives offered final congratulations, engineers thanked him personally, and directors bowed as they said their goodbyes.

When it was time, Ethan raised a hand in acknowledgment.

"Good work, everyone," he said simply.
