Chapter 179 - Everyone’s Fight

"Woah—so many of you!" Franky stared at the pirates swarming his deck, excitement making even his metal face look flushed.

"What is that?! A robot?!"

These lackeys had never seen anything this cool in their lives.

"Don't be scared!" someone yelled. "Commander Krieg said it's just a Devil Fruit user! Kill it and the women and treasure are ours!"

"Hahahaha!" Franky didn't dodge at all. He let blades and spears hack into him.

Clink clink clink clink…

"What—so hard?!"

One pirate stared at the broken knife in his hand, eyes bulging out of his skull.

Franky laughed and spread his arms wide.

WHAM!

The pirates crowding him were thrown back like bowling pins.

"Aaaagh—!!" screams erupted in a wave.

"Hahaha! My turn!" Franky pulled out the glowing laser sword from his back. "Catch this!"

The moment the blade swung—

"L-laser sword?!"

Weapons snapped. Faces went white. Sweat poured.

After slicing for a while, Franky got bored.

He stowed the sword and raised his fists instead.

"FRANKY—IRON FIST!"

"AAAAH—!!"

Another heap of pirates went flying.

On another ship, Enel looked at the pirates packed across the deck and scanned them.

No one with heavy dark circles.

So Gin wasn't on this one.

The ship's squad captain had been wary of the kid who literally ran across air—but seeing Enel stare at them like they were trash made anger surge up his spine.

"GET HIM!"

With a roar, the lackeys charged Enel.

The captain, however, didn't move.

Like hell he would. What if he died?

Commander Krieg had said Devil Fruit users could be countered by seawater—sure, but you still had to get them into the sea first.

Enel's lips curled. "Then I won't hold back. But… Nami-sama said not to wreck the ship."

His silver staff extended, and he swept it sideways.

BANG—!!

"Aaaagh—!!"

A whole row of pirates got smashed off their feet and flung back by sheer brute force.

"Heh. Perfect timing to practice what the captain taught me."

Enel grinned. "Dog-Beating Staff Technique."

He waded into the crowd, staff whipping left and right, cracking bodies down with clean, brutal arcs.

The captain watched Enel carve through the mass without a scratch and silently praised his own wisdom.

Good thing I didn't rush in.

Then—

His vision blurred.

Enel appeared right in front of him like a ghost, staff raised.

"Dog-Beating Staff Technique, First Form—Heavy Smack!"

PA—!!

"AAAAH—!!"

The captain flew straight off the ship and dropped into the sea.

SPLOOSH!

Enel clicked his tongue. "Trash."

He turned back to the trembling lackeys who'd started backing away in unison.

"Next," Enel said, gripping the staff, and charged.

Screams exploded across the deck.

Señor Pink fought on his chosen ship in a slow, steady rhythm—one punch per pirate, unhurried and merciless.

Whenever someone tried to sneak an attack, he simply hardened up and tanked it.

Ever since he'd witnessed how terrifying Garp's Iron Body was, he'd made up his mind.

He had to master it.

Because that was the most manly thing there was.

"Move! I'll handle him!" a squad captain roared.

Hammer in both hands, he leaped high and brought it crashing down onto Señor Pink's head.

"IRON BODY."

A low vibration rippled over Señor Pink's whole body.

"Die, you arrogant bastard!"

BOOOOM!

The hammer slammed down.

"Heh—got him!" the lackeys cheered. "He's dead! That arrogant bastard!"

Then—

CRACK.

"Huh?!" the captain froze.

Hairline fractures raced across the hammerhead. The next second—

CRASH!

The weapon shattered.

Señor Pink stood there without a scratch. He calmly spat out his cigarette, then drove a fist forward.

BANG—!!

The captain shot backward and crashed into the mob behind him.

"Get him!" someone screamed. "Wear him down with numbers!"

The pirates roared and swarmed.

Señor Pink lit another cigarette, voice low and flat.

"Only defending… isn't a clear choice."

And a moment later, bodies started flying off the ship in a constant stream.

"Benefactors," Urouge said solemnly, palms pressed together, "I will send you to meet your god."

Then he began slaughtering—one punch per pirate, crushing and throwing them down like sacks of meat.

On a different deck, Kontena raised his gun and fired at any pirate who tried to get close.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

Several shots rang out, and pirates dropped one after another.

Kontena glanced at the others who were having the time of their lives and shook his head.

Too violent.

Wouldn't it be cleaner to finish them in one shot? Why beat them half-dead first?

Wanda held her sword, eyes scanning the pirates in front of her.

No one matched the captain's description—good.

Then she noticed the pirates staring at her like they'd seen a ghost.

East Blue pirates had never seen a Mink. Most of them hadn't even been to the Grand Line, and newspapers rarely reported Minks.

One loudmouthed pirate pointed and sneered. "What is this, a dog turning into a person? A dog-woman?"

Another spat and laughed. "So ugly!"

Wanda's face went cold.

Women hated being called ugly more than anything—especially with that "dog" nonsense on top.

"I'm a canine Mink," Wanda snapped, voice edged with fury. "And to us, you're just hairless monkeys."

Electricity crackled along her blade, sizzling and popping.

Then she vanished forward.

SHING—!

Wanda plunged into the crowd, slashing in streaks of lightning. A whole section of pirates collapsed, twitching from the shock.

As for the foul-mouthed one—

He was cut into pieces.

Back on the Fearless Battleship, Kuina, Uta, and Bai Hezi were cutting through pirates like a storm.

Krieg's face was dark enough to drown in.

Who could've told him that three girls who looked so delicate would be this terrifying with blades?

They didn't even transform.

They just charged onto his flagship and started slaughtering.

Krieg scanned the battlefield, and his face turned even worse.

His men were being wiped out—one fighter from White Ghost's side was enough to topple entire crews.

"If this keeps going…" Krieg's jaw clenched. "This won't do!"

Palu—his body fully armored in shield-plates—charged Kuina, thinking she looked like the easiest target.

"Heh, woman!" Palu yelled. "I'm Palu, 'Iron Wall' of the Krieg Pirates—no matter how brutal the battle gets, I won't shed a single drop of blood!"

Kuina looked at the man wrapped in iron, with metal shields slamming toward her, and her expression didn't change.

"Die, woman!" Palu roared, smashing a smaller shield straight at her.

Kuina raised her sword and casually flicked it aside.

"You're made of iron?" she asked, tone almost bored.

Palu's eyes widened.

His guard opened for an instant, and he saw her sword lifting toward him—

He forced out a sneer. "Idiot! Your sword can't cut through my defense—"

SHING—!

Kuina swept horizontally.

CRACK.

Palu stiffened.

He looked down.

His shield-plates were splitting apart.

"W-what?!" Palu's eyes bulged. "Impossible! A sword can't cut iron!"

"Ignorant," Kuina said, and with a clean motion—

She cut his throat.

THUD.

Palu collapsed, still unable to understand, even in death.

Gin stepped forward, gripping his twin iron ball-clubs, stopping in front of Uta.

"You're not getting close to the commander," he said coldly.

Uta tilted her head, studying his heavy dark circles. "So you're the one White Ghost wants alive?"

Gin frowned. "What are you talking about?"

"It means," Uta said brightly, "you're getting captured."

Her blade flared with her ability as she lunged at him.

"Not a chance!"

Gin spun his iron weapons, aiming to knock her sword away—

CLINK.

The instant they touched, Uta's ability flowed into him.

"What is this—?!"

A crushing drowsiness slammed into Gin's brain the moment he made contact.

His body swayed.

His knees buckled.

And then—

THUMP.

Gin dropped to the deck and fell asleep on the spot.

"Capture complete," Uta said with a sweet smile.

She turned toward the pirates who'd already been scared half to death.

"Hehe…"
