Chapter 318 - The Banquet at Little Garden

White Ghost chuckled, and the bracelet on his wrist flashed.

Thud. Thud.

Two enormous barrels of wine appeared on the ground.

Brogy and Dorry froze.

"Is that… a Devil Fruit ability?"

White Ghost grabbed the huge barrels and tossed them toward the two as if they weighed nothing.

Whoosh, whoosh.

Thud, thud.

The two giants caught the barrels, which were only about the size of their palms. The moment they smelled the rich fragrance of the wine, their mouths watered. They immediately stopped thinking about what White Ghost had just done.

They opened the lids and began drinking.

Gulp, gulp, gulp.

Before long, both of them had drained their barrels. They put the empty barrels down, expressions of deep satisfaction on their faces.

"Gababababa! I haven't had wine in decades. That felt amazing!"

Brogy laughed loudly.

"Gyagyagyagya!"

Dorry laughed as well.

Once the two finished drinking, Burgess, that reckless fool, jumped out and stared at Brogy with fighting spirit all over his face.

"Hey, giant! I heard giants have the greatest strength. I don't believe it."

After saying that, Burgess lowered his body into a charging stance.

"Gababababa! Giants never fear a challenge."

Brogy set down his weapon and entered a charging stance as well.

"Roar!"

The two roared, then moved.

Bang!

There was no surprise at all. Burgess was sent flying directly, coughing blood the whole way back.

White Ghost's group stared at the scene with dark expressions.

This fool was even more reckless than A-Er.

"Roar!"

Just as everyone thought of A-Er, the guy transformed. A seven-meter-tall Megalosaurus charged straight toward Brogy.

"Gababababa! Looks like they think I'm stronger than you."

Brogy glanced proudly at his old friend, then charged at A-Er.

Bang!

This time, A-Er performed much better than that reckless idiot Burgess. Although he was forced back, he was not sent flying.

Dorry looked at Brogy unhappily.

"Maybe they chose you because they think you're weaker."

Jango, his body packed with explosive muscle, walked out and looked at Dorry.

"Hey, giant. You look bored. Play with me."

"Gyagyagyagya!"

Dorry laughed loudly.

"The glory of giants does not allow us to avoid a challenge."

"Roar!"

Jango did not waste words and directly entered his beastman form.

"Roar!"

Dorry roared and charged at him. He did not hold back, because he could sense that the man before him was very strong.

Boom!

The two collided.

There was no Haki involved, no tricks at all. It was purely a contest of strength.

"Ugh!"

This time, Jango did not take a single step back. He entered a deadlock with Dorry.

Brogy's eyes lit up.

One had to know that the two of them were not ordinary giants. Their strength was far beyond that of normal giants.

For this little human to contest strength with Dorry surprised him greatly.

Pedro also watched the two wrestling with interest.

Back in the North Blue, he had fought a giant Vice Admiral from Marine Headquarters before.

Although these two giants did not know Haki, the terrifying strength in their bodies was no lie.

The newly joined Galdino, Gem, and Mikita stared at the scene in shock.

Competing with a giant in strength?

Wasn't that too ridiculous?

The three could not help looking toward their new captain.

If the crew members were already this strong, then how terrifying was this man's strength as their captain?

The others were already used to it.

In Urouge's words, after receiving so many blessings from their lord and training for so long, if they could not even handle one giant, they might as well slit their throats. It would be too embarrassing.

Boom!

The ground beneath the two competitors cracked apart.

Both men withdrew at the same time and looked at each other before laughing loudly.

"Hahahaha! As expected of one of the captains of the Giant Warrior Pirates. Your strength really is different."

"Gyagyagyagya! Human, you're not bad either. You're the first person who has matched me in strength."

White Ghost smiled at them.

"Hey, you two legendary captains, how about we hold a banquet together?"

Dorry and Brogy looked at White Ghost, who clearly had the air of a leader, then laughed and nodded.

"Time for a banquet!"

A barbecue feast began.

As for ingredients, they were everywhere. Catching a couple of dinosaurs was enough to solve the problem.

A lively banquet began. White Ghost had prepared who knew how much wine beforehand, enough for the two giants to drink.

"Gyagyagyagya! So you're not pirates, but wanted criminals!"

Dorry laughed loudly and clinked cups with Jango.

"Gababababa! Really? Your captain has a bounty of four billion berries?"

Brogy looked as if he had seen a ghost.

Pedro set down a wine barrel.

"It can't compare to the value of your bounty back then. The captain said that if your old one-hundred-million bounty were converted to today's standard, it would start at at least one billion."

"Gababababa!"

Brogy laughed loudly.

"We haven't left this island in many years. We don't know much about the outside world anymore. Can you tell us?"

Pedro nodded and began explaining one thing after another.

They knew about Roger, so it could not be said that they were completely cut off from the world.

They simply knew very little. After all, people still came here from time to time.

They just usually failed to leave afterward.

As Pedro spoke, the two giants slowly digested all kinds of events happening on the sea.

Night gradually deepened.

Those who could not hold their liquor set up tents nearby and went to rest. Those who wanted to sleep in beds returned to the ship.

Stella sat beside White Ghost and cut meat for him.

Although eating in big mouthfuls was more satisfying, the women always believed that unless necessary, White Ghost, as the captain, should be a little more refined.

White Ghost had been observing the two giants' expressions.

When Pedro mentioned that group, surprise flashed across both of their faces, though it quickly disappeared.

White Ghost confirmed it.

Although these two were not part of that group, they had definitely been connected to them in the past.

The giants.

An adult giant had the strength of a Rear Admiral, and that was only an ordinary giant.

If it was a warrior-class giant, that meant Vice Admiral-level strength.

Who wouldn't want to win them over?

When fighting broke out, a group of giants charging at the front would be spectacular enough to frighten the enemy to death.

Big Mom had always wanted to repair her relationship with the giants, but the giants ignored her completely. Who told her to slaughter a giant village when she was young?

White Ghost remembered that Big Mom later had a chance. It seemed the prince of the giants had fallen for one of her daughters.

But that unfilial daughter had run away from home to pursue her own happiness, refusing to be used as a tool for marriage.

Big Mom had nearly lost her mind from anger. She had finally gained a chance to remove the rift between herself and the giants, only for that unfilial daughter to destroy it.

White Ghost remembered that in the original path of his previous life, the giant prince Loki seemed to be an extraordinary figure. Apparently, he had been imprisoned.

When the time came, he could make contact with him.

That bastard Shanks seemed to have gotten close to the giants.

The two giants in front of him had ended up under Shanks' banner.
