Elder Brok called for attention the moment he stepped onto the stage.
Behind him stood three other elders, their presence alone enough to quiet most of the murmuring crowd.
He walked forward with measured steps, lifted his hand slightly, and greeted everyone. "I hope you are all having a nice time," he began.
He paused, letting the attention settle fully on him.
"The Council of Elders is the structure of this world. With me are three members of the Council of Elders."
"As you know, each tribe has a representative in the Council of Elders of the Beast World. But for the ruling tribe—the tribe of the kings of the Beast World, the Scales tribe—they hold three to six seats in the council."
